Anyone have any costumes that are based off Jacky's world? I have half a tavern wench costume done. It's not finished because I was commissioned to make a Link costume, a miko outfit, and three Organization XIII coats for a few cons. gonk ~ Kit

Wow, you can sew! I can't....at all. Well, I can by hand, but it's so tedious and my great-grandmother's machine hates me.
I work at the New York Renaissance Faire, so I have all kinds of random costume bits. I have a bodice, corset, chemise, 2 full circle skirts, some random aprons and fabrics and scarves, bloomers, and a lovely tricorn! 4laugh

are you talking about on gaia or real life, gaia none real life i have BILLIONS of piratey clothes... it's basicly all i wear sweatdrop it really freaks people out when i go all decked out with the cape and stuff down mainstreet in th emiddle of a hot day in the summer with a plastic sword strapped to my belt ( my mom won't let me wear my real weapons when i go for walks sweatdrop ) hehe..

Hey you...
I've had a sudden wave of uncoolness wash over me. sweatdrop I have
no costumes/clothes but would love too. I can't sew to save my life
and my paychecks are too small to help me get started.

Oh! Gaia costumes! Sorry, I'm daft.
Well, I try really hard to get as close to Jacky's costumes as I can. I have a sort of street-child look, a dress kinda like her Kingston one, "sailor togs" (heh...), the various random pirate-fine lady-thing, a Pimm-ish dress, and a House of the Rising Sun. I dread the thought that they she'll end up a fine lady in France because questing for this jacket was interesting enough!
As for real life costumes, I work at a Renaissance Faire, so I had to get them. They;re so much fun to have though! My sister and I are dressing up later. 3nodding

On Gaia the closest to a pirate costume I have is a space or sky pirate fit, lol.
And in real: I have one pirate costume I did for halloween, It's a hat with a really pretty ostrich feather, a sword that though is real is unbalanced (cheap xD), a nice long skirt, some B'n'W thigh high pirate socks, a sorta homemade leather vest, and I borrow my moms white flowing shirt.
That's as close to the sea as my costumes get, lol.
Jacky::. That's awesome you work at a ren faire!! I went to one a while back for the first time, it was really neat! and then I went to another that was more revolved around jousting that was pretty cool too!

I went to one a while back for the first time, it was really neat! and then I went to another that was more revolved around jousting that was pretty cool too! I love working there! I used to sell frozen oranges with fruit ice...they called me the "Orange Lass" the "Ice Pirate" the "Coin Monkey" but most commonly I'm known as the "Crazy singing dancing Orange Girl." rofl

I barely have any pirate/Jacky/shippy kind of stuff, but I'm working on it. Wouldn't it be fun to show up in school one day dressed in, like, Jacky's Kingston outfit. With your hair all curly and a nice fancy dress, and of course a shiv shoved up against your ribs. I would totally do it... xp

My current Steampunk geocartographer's costume is currently taking up all of my sweing time and energy sweatdrop But I would just LOVE to put together a Jacky costume! We even have the same hair colour 3nodding

I have yet to begin sewing the clothing components, just working on the jewelery, military badges and personal effects...thats the fun part! whee
