So my fiancee and I will be moving into a place after we get married (May 17th) and I have been UBER worried about everything. Financial worries, mostly. Because we're 20 and 21 with an 8 month old daughter. And we're not the best at budgeting... I'm still in school (and will be for 3 more years) and I need a new vehicle (my old pickup truck just won't cut it!).
And I just wanted to say that parents can be the best. In two months, my parents will have their house paid off which means an extra $600 a month. So they're paying for my school AND a new vehicle!!!! At least, helping me with it all. That is the biggest sigh of relief EVER.
As for the in-laws... Well they're cheap. They won't buy us anything. But we won't talk about them...
So this is just a celebration! I'm quite relieved. Because I don't know how we would have afforded college and a new vehicle without my parents. Yay!

congrats, darling.
I am really paranoid and kinda a**l so it will be a while till I buy my house, but I really want something soon so that I can start a family and get my life squared away.... but I know that life isn't that easy...
I still need to get a job.... that is, one that I get a paycheck for..
stupid $1,500 mortgage for anything within 10 miles from a semblance of town that has 3 bed/1.5 bath........yeah, that's a 30 year at 6%
sorry for the rant, it continues if you care.
I have job experience but it is helping my mom sell the plants she grows so I have alot of botanical knoledge. I probably should work at the Home Depo garden shop........
I also have a new rant probably going to put it in sex and romance.....

Congrats! Parents are like superheros!
My parents supported me and put me through school till a couple years ago and I know I can ask for help right now, but I feel that I need to give them a break because they helped me so much before. And I feel proud that me and my husband are doing pretty good on our own so far *knocks on wood*

ah yes! i love them too. well my mom anyways. i dont want help from my dad. even if he offers.. talk2hand
though the in-laws are making my boyfriend pay rent now..and he will start his first day of work this friday. and then when i move in the rent will double. and the house doesnt even have water pressure, the washer and dryer, i belive, are still broken, his little sister steal things out of his room....and..why are we staying here now....? its better than living with my brother..i remember now..
