Morfinnel bid Sario to sit on the lush sofa. When she had, the Elf realized that Thranduil was standing nearby.
"Hannon le, hir nin." the captain said with a bow, taking the objects from the Elvenking and making Sario more comfortable.
Not one to have things done for him, Thranduil began to build up the already burning fire in the fireplace.

Sario pulled the blanket up to her chin, wrapping it around her shoulders before smiling to the two. "Hannon le."

"You are quite welcome." THranduil replied before excusing himself.
Morfinnel poked at the fire with a poker, stoking the embers. "Are you warm enough?" he asked.

Sario got up from the sofa, coming up behind Morfinnel. She wrapped her arms around his waist, letting her chin rest on his shoulder.
"I am alright," she smiled.

Morfinnel sighed, leaning his head against her own. "For that, I am glad." he whispered, watching the flames of the fire jump before their eyes.

Sario closed her eyes, feeling the fire's heat radiate onto her face and hands. She kept smiling, taking in the warmth of her surroundings.
"I wish this could last..." she finally whispered, squeezing Morfinnel gently in her embrace.

"I can last for as long as you wish it too, meleth nin." Morfinnel whispered. "I realize that there are problems in this world... but I think... I think we should take some time off for ourselves." he added. "The Valar do not see fit for us to do anything right now... so why not enjoy the peace and quite?"

She smiled, opening her eyes and letting them be illuminated by the flame's glow. Turning her head, she planted a kiss on Morfinnel's cheek, her face covered up by his long brown hair.
"Gladly," she commented, nuzzling him.

Morfinnel smiled, turning his head to look at the woman. He moved his body to where she could sit beside him, and the captain took an extra blanket in the room and drapped it around her shoulders, as well as his own. One arm around Sario's waist, holding her close, Morfinnel gently kissed the side of her head.
"I thought you might like the suggestion."

Laughing as well, Sario moved a hand and cupped Morfinnel's chin, smiling up at him. "Aye...One would have to be crazy to favor chaos over peace."
