Pretty odd-ball i think. They are north American live-bearers
They are called mosquito fish. Im pretty sure they are indigenous to north America. Im not sure though. I two generations in a 1 gallon tank 3nodding Then they kinda died . DX

Common fish.
Not so common behaviour.

It would spin round and round and round etc.

A pair of Tilapia I caught, though they are small (these fish actually do grow to the tank sice available to them without getting misformed!) They produced quite some offspring.
Also, Tilapia tastes good ^^

Those are pretty cool. I've heard that you can put them in an outdoor kiddie pool over the summer with a couple of live plants, and by the fall you'll have ten times the number of fish you started with.

i had a comet fish who was like a cat and was curious with everything we put in the tank. The net, the suction, a straw, a finger, a shell... all the other fish were like "meh whatever." and this little guy got too curious managed to flip a shell over and get it's head stuck in it....then died. sad But it was kinda funny afterwards. I buried the shell with it, saying, "There you go little buddy, you take that shell with you and show everythone you have a shell, while everyone else as silly bubbles."

That's adorable! In a sad way.
Kind of reminds me of Murphy's law.
