Having slipped away from the den where her clan rested, Kianga padded the darkness the jungle offered; she'd been restless since that day, not too long back, where she'd been granted a ghost of an idea, thanks to a.... little bird, one could say.

The only problem, was that she had to find a God. A god willing to grant her, and her bonded lover, that what they craved for. Was that even possible? How did one even go about calling for a God? Kianga had never been raised knowing about the Gods; or rather, she had, but their images were meant to be something mythical, untouchable, and thus wrapping her mind around these new... possibilities, per say, was hard at best.

Should she? Would she? Could she?

Walking on, she came upon the border of her pride's domain; the jungle ended there, and the Savannah she'd once travelled, seemingly so long ago, stretched before her, bathed in moonlight. There, the pink, winged lioness sat. It was there, sitting just a foot away from the jungle, allowing the moon to illuminate her form dully, that she dared to wish, and hope.

-Though he'd told the lovely azure lioness earlier that he would return when the need arose, Lim found himself wandering the pride even hours later. He had nothing better to do, and inside him some tickle of excitement other then simple lust and sleaziness was tugging at his senses.

His words drifted over and over in his mind. About the joy of mothers, and he was happy to realize the words were nothing but the truth.

He was a liar when he needed to be, a sweet talker almost always, but it was absolutely truth what he'd discussed with the lioness that afternoon. Well except the few omitted comments that he knew would have turned those timid and regal eyes in embarasment or frustration.

It was among these thoughts that he felt that tingling once more, that soft and familar tug. Someone needed him. Was it her again? The young god lifted himself softly, moving in the direction in which he was pulled, until the trees gave way to grasses, and another female touched his sights. Pale pink with delicate markings covering the soft curve of her back.

Familar purr touching his throat, he called out mildly, feathers fanning forward impressively.- "Well hello there"

Still lost in thought, Kianga was unaware of the stranger's approach till he spoke; her form stiffened slightly, her pelt fluffing out mildly out of having been surprised. The night had been so silent, that those purred out words had slashed through her; dimly, she kicked herself for allowing her thoughts to take reign and lose herself to them.

That is, of course, till she turned her pale, purple eyes to look at the intruder. The first thing that caught her attention... were his wings; they were fanned against his back impressively, and Kianga was dimly reminded of an avian and the way they courted their females, by fluffing their plumage out, "Evening..." she said, blinking as she tried to recover from the shock; that much was obvious by the way her usually potent voice was reduced to a whisper, as if afraid to shatter the silence of the night.

The surprise soon enough vanished though, as she took the time to shake her head from side to side, "You startled me," a pause, her head tilting; she felt oddly flustered suddenly, and instead of asking him what flew through her mind, she moved restlessly, shifting her weight from one paw to the other, "Who are you, exactly?" and after another pause, she decided that giving him her name, was in order, "I'm Kianga."

"I didn't mean to." -He kept still as he realized he'd startled her, letting her make the first move, which occured seamlessly enough that he quickly found his paws pulling him forward another few steps.- "Limbuko, God of pleasure."

-It was offered mildly, out of politeness and return, for in truth he was very curious. It did not connect in his mind that this might be her, the mate of the female he'd met before. No, that would be too much a coincidence. But then.. meeting this many people that needed him? Eyes gazing outward at the moon, he skirted around his question, musing instead.- "What are you doing out here all alone in the night?"

"Waiting for someone?" -Probably not, she'd have been listening then, wouldn't she.-

"God of Pleasure," she echoed him with another blink and then opened her mouth again, as if to talk, only to close it; oh god. Her mind tried to work itself out of whatever cavern it'd rammed itself into and yet it seemed unable to, "Pleasure?" finally turning to look up at him, then turned to cough into her paw, because she realised she was probably managing to sound like an idiot. Kianga had been a rogue for grand part of her life, and though she did agree with everything this pride had to teach her, there were small things that could not be shaken off.

Gods, for example, had always been very much asexual for her; icons, myths. They were the Wind, the Earth, the Trees. Everything, and suddenly having one sit beside her (not to mention having recently learnt her own mother had been Truth, a goddess herself), was a bit overwhelming. She did not adopt the superiority that her pride was known for; he might be male, but above all, he was a God, "I... well, I'm not entirely sure, really," she frowned down at the grass, sinking her claws into the humid earth, then retracting them, "You could say I was just... wishing, and hoping," she turned to him and lifted a paw as gesticulating, "And here you are, out of nowhere, it's odd."

Lowering her paw back to the ground, the pink lioness flicked her tail, "I... me and my mate, we're in a bit of a hot spot, you see. We wish for cubs, and yet, we can't have them. Nature doesn't allow it; I could have cubs for a male, yes, but they'd not look like my mate and... well, it's not the same," after a pause she lifted her purple gaze up at him again, unvoiced question shinning in them.

-A look that could only be explained as amusement and questioning touched him briefly as her question arose, wondering if she really wanted him to explain the word. It was funny that so many took it in the most.. oh.. instinctual sort of way. He assured her, much as he had others in the past.- "Yes.. I try to make others happy, the best I can."

-Her nervousness and clumsiness was charming, not the same as the regal nervousness that he'd been met with earlier that morning, but equally attractive. His maw curled into a soft smile at it in fact, listening softly to her words as they tumbled out, not really intent on helping her jumble them more.

As the directness echo'd the conversation of earlier, his brows lifted mildly. It had to be her, it would be too much if ANOTHER set of lioness' in the same area were coming to him. Not that HE minded and all.. But seriously and tragically threesomes really didn't come around THAT often.

Ignoring an actual answer to her request, he asked abruptly.- "You wouldn't happen to be... " -he paused a long moment, digging in his memory to unwield the name.- "Tejasvi'Nila. Tejasvi'Nila's mate, would you?"

Again, Kianga opened her mouth and closed it. Open and close, like a gaping fish, for a full moment before she snapped her mind into overdrive, "I... yes?" she said, almost as if unsure of the answer herself, or rather, unsure of how in the world he knew of her mate, "How do you know my mate?" the words stumbled out of her mouth before she'd added two plus two, however, no sooner had they been said that the lioness lips formed a silent 'o'.

"Oooooh...." she breathed suddenly, "Oh, oooooh..... oh," she repeated eloquently, then blinked up at him. Did that mean he knew what she wanted? Did that mean she didn't have to openly ask? Was it rude not to ask?

The lioness shifted her weight again, awkwardly from paw to paw as she remain sitting, then reached the conclusion that it was only right that she echo her mate's wishes herself. Of course though, again, she'd not been raised within the pride, and had remain a rogue loner for so long that the idea of intimacy was... well, it was awkward, to say the least. She wasn't used to going to a male, as the females of the pride were, and basically, telling him to do the deed.

This was a bit different for her, "Uhm," grasping her courage, she turned to look up at him; despite the fact she had shifted to seek his eyes with her own (only right in such a situation, she thought), she couldn't help the mildly embarrassed blush that graced her cheeks, "I'm not entirely sure how much my mate told you, but we... I'd like you to...." and she broke off, gesticulating with a paw; was there a light way to put it? Was there a polite way with which to say such things? She might as well go for it, she figured, "We'd like to have your cubs," a pause, "Please," she added as an afterthought, still blushing.

-It was his turn to gain a look that was well.. on par with silly, as his features drew into something of an apologetic and at the same time reassuring expression as he watched her struggle.- "Ha... yes. She was supposed to talk to you.. and I was to return when you two were ready.."

-Cute as her attempt at keeping things from seeming lewd or unpleasant, it was slowly becoming painful the longer it drew along. And he began to nod as her paws moved in an attempt to make clear what she'd meant. His feathers lowered a little, drawing forth an expression much more intune with the one he used for comforting children, as opposed seducing ladies.- "I was drawn to you two because of your wishes, and I would be happy to help. You needn't say another word about it."

"It is a duty to my domain and an honor in itself." -Boy.. he almost sounded like a mature lion didn't he? He was proud of himself, and it could be seen by the soft bolstering in his young chest.

Pausing thoughtfully he offered mildly.- "Would you like to find your mate? As it seems I've ruined the surprise and conversation, there probably isn't much left for the two of you to.. discuss?"

"If so though.. I don't mind waiting, as I told her."

A sigh of relief escaped her, "Thank you," it was breathed before anything else was said, her paw coming to place itself against her chest. In all honesty, it was hard to understand if she was thanking him for agreeing to doing the so called 'deed', or if she was thanking him for making things that much easier on her since she no longer had to keep on explaining herself. These were not themes she'd touched much at all, and in all honesty, it was achingly clear that Kianga was still rather naive in that sense of the word.

She knew what had to be done, and how things would progress, but it was clear that living a rather isolated life had... isolated her from certain themes, in a way, "Thank you," repeated again, and a soft, sweet smile, graced her maw as she looked up at the God, "Duty or no, we're lucky you came along," and not... someone else, she figured. Pleasure seemed a perfect Domain to ask help from, if only due to the direct implications.

Now that she no longer looked awkwardly distressed, the lioness heaved a sigh, once more turning her violet eyes up at him, "I would like to discuss it with her, yes, but.... not now. She sleeps. And I'm feeling extremely restless," a pause, her gaze turning to the stars, "I'll go to her in the morning," regarding him out the corner of an eyes, the lioness blinked, "I'd always thought that gods were... well, real, yes, but not as physically... real as I've recently found out. My mother dropped out of the sky, and told me whom she was, and it's a quite a bit to take in. Sorry for my awkwardness."

Of course, in that single explanation she'd implied she herself was a seer, and enough for him to question and use in conversation if he wished to stay for a while.

-He reguarded her choice with a soft nod, shifting so that his back end fell, soon followed by his front, until he lounged out comfortably across the cool grasses. It she was in no hurry, then that meant that he could rest tonight, and at the simple assertion his body seemed to ache a protest that it WAS tired. Nontheless his eyes turned to Kianga, tail curling and then unfurling slowly again and again.-

"Mmm.."

"I've met those that didn't believe in gods before, and those that believed as you did. It's probably the fault of all those gods that wander around in guise of mortals, or some of the older stodgey ones that find themselves 'above' conversing with mortals."

-There was a slight contempt in his voice, a strange and unfamilar tone, though it lasted only a moment, but it was obvious that he felt he fit into neither category. Many of the other gods in fact, feared the seers because of their strange powers. But for Lim that would be blasphemy, to lock himself from his children just for some petty fear. Pleasure had no need for fear.

Lifting a lilac and yellow tipped paw, the licked at his fur softly, musing a bit.- "Your mother was a goddess then? Perhaps I know her?" -He didn't think he knew any pink ones.. but he dug anyway for the info curiously. Even if he didn't know her before, always nice to make new friends.-

"Maybe..." she paused, as if to ponder her own answer before going on, "Maybe they have, or had their reasons for doing that," it was not her place to frown upon on a god, specially if it didn't directly affect her, she figure. An elegant roll of her shoulders signaled a mild shrug, as if the lioness were not quite sure of what of her own words, but had punted them out in the open.

Amusingly enough, Lim had proved to be someone that was easy to talk to, and thus, Kianga had allowed herself to relax back into her previously dreamy-like state. Thoughts and notions were taking over as she watched him lift a paw, grooming himself, "It's nice to know there's different outlooks on the subject," allowing herself to recline more comfortably on the ground, she mused further, "Tell truth, it's spirit-lifting to hear that some Gods do walk the earth. Physically," a chuckle, "Hard to take in, but... uplifting nonetheless."

Turning her head to gaze at him, she nodded, a soft smile tugging at her maw, "I'd never known she was. I don't think I remember that far back... much happened, but I'll always love her; doesn't matter to me what she is, or was," lifting her own paw, she mimicked his actions, licking through her paw pad, and between her fingers, her claws showing as she allowed the motion, a soft reminder that she was in fact, a warrior deep down, "Truth, she called herself. Audilifu."

-Lim as well had found himself in a comfortable position and frame of mind. Knowing his place for the moment, any thoughts of flirtation or persausion had slipped from him, leaving nothing but soft musings.-

"I've always felt that it'd be a insult against my domain if I didn't do what I could to spread pleasure to as many as possible. And certainly to leave that honor only to gods would have grown boring fast. But I suppose some domains might require more of a distance." -His mind drifted mildly to Sheba as it often seemed to these days, she was one that seemed to keep distance unless called upon. But really.. to him it'd seemed more a self inflicted torture and punishment she'd placed upon herself, not something that her domain required of her.

His mind drifted in these thoughts until a familar name touched her ears, eyes pulling upwards once more to gaze at the lioness and try to pick up her mother's influences from her pelt.- "Ahh, I do know her then. Not for very long, but a dazzling creature nonetheless."

"Ah," she said, as if everything he'd said suddenly made sense to her, even if it was all new and a bit hard to wrap her mind around, "So you would," the pink lioness' head nodded slightly, her eyes closing to the outside world, and it DID make sense, in some weird way. Wasn't Pleasure something that everyone had a right to? Something that every mortal was expected to feel? Pain, pleasure, love... did that mean all those gods roamed the earth?

Kianga's mind felt overwhelmed by the idea, and she'd likely have to bounce off notions and ideas on her mate, later, but for now, she allowed the peaceful thought that there was, indeed, someone... out there looking out for her, even when she could not see her. Hadn't Truth been, in a way, what had saved her from the plague when her pride had died?

As Limbuko mentioned knowing her mother, the lioness opened her eyes and gaze up at him with a smile, "In a way, don't we all?" she murmured to him, "I've always felt that my mother was looking out for me, even though she was gone... I thought she'd died, long ago - turns out she decided my life would be better in a pride than alone with her. She was right. But she kept an eye for me," a pause as she stretched slightly in place, "I want to feel that... I want to do that for my children; I want to be strong enough to do what's right for them, even if it hurts me."

She could see the beginning of the sunrise peek it's way over the horizon, tainting the sky hues of pink and purple just at the border, and she smiled again. Kianga figured she'd have to leave soon, and catch just a few hours of sleep; she couldn't talk to her mate with her mind still sleep fuzzy, "Well," she told the god, "I wish you well; and hope that all the good you do here, for me and my mate, comes back to you in some shape or form."

-She spoke of things, sad and pleasant, sacrafices and joy, and softly he listened. He'd made so many mistakes before, he wondered if he were capable of what the lioness spoke of so readily. It was an idle thought though, something that had to be thought of at length, not chosen in one moment.-

"Mhmmm" -Soft sounds of agreement and interest escaped him, even though it appeared that he drew ever closer to slumber as the conversation continued. Indeed, his breath had slowed, his eyes opened only halfway by the time her final well wishes sounded. He did not try to stop her, instead settling in more comfortably to the ground, feathers falling back to blanket his back from the chill of the dew droplets of this early hour. It wasn't often such words graced his ears. A softly mummered thank you touched the air as he watched her back turn to him, slowly making her way back to her pride. Maybe something good would come to him. Or atleast, to those around him that so often tugged his heart and mood this way or that.-
