Bahari'nswi yawned as he sprawled out across the sand, his rather large body covering a great deal of space. Even his wings were spread out as far as they would go, with the top and lower spines pointed towards his head and his tail respectively. His thick, curly mane provided an excellent pillow, and the slightly warm sand beneath him made for an adequate bed. This was certainly the most relaxed the God of Fish had been in a long time.
The beach he was resting on was very secluded, sheilded by cliffs on one side and the sea on the other. Although Bahari'nswi loved attention, it was sometimes nice to get away from mortals, simply to relax and think about how fabulous he and his creations were. Some of his best inspiration came from when he was thinking about himself.

Of course, peace and quiet could not last forever , but far from a mortal coming to interrupt his rest in the warm heat of the day, an equally large lioness came padding along the sands. She virtually glowed with happiness, her white markings shimmering red and each and every gem and flash of gold or silver shone like a tiny star.
Her name was Ubuge and she was pleased. She had of course been to the beach many times in the past but today was a specifucally lovely day, she'd convinced one of the sea mamals to take one of her enchanted items in return for a slice of his soul. It had been so easy and now she had a slave in the seas. How marvelous. The thought of her deed made her beam even more, her grin much like a very content cat, she had definately gotten the cream.
It was in this moment of reverence, and self praise, that she spotted the other god. She couldn't help but admire him of course, his coat of soft grey, his strange wing like appendages straddling his back and his thick curly mane. She smirked, she wondered if she could convince him to let her havea peice of that soft shimmering mane. Only one way to find out.
Without picking up her pace the large, bulky lioness flickered her wings, the thousands of adornments which littered her tiny sets of wings tinkling akin to tiny bells. "Good morning dahling." She puurrs, her voice high and horty though at the same time full of cream and suger. She stops before him settling slowly in to the sand without being asked, her huge bulk flattening out around her, her forepaws tucking under her chest so she looked like a huge housecat. "I hope I'm not disturbing you, but one could not help but admire you from afar, you are my dahling a very beautiful specimen of a beast, one needed a closer look." She puurrs her dark eyes pouring over his figure without any trepedition.

Bahari'nswi didn't notice the Goddess until she was stood before him, greeting him as if he was an old friend. "Good morning." He replied in his consistantly neutral tone of voice, without even lifting his head. It occured to him though that his eyes had had to look up a fair bit to reach her's, meaning that she was a very big girl indeed. Wanting to get a better look at her, he forced himself on to his stomach, so that he could lie in a similiar position to her.
Once he was lay comfortably in a sphinx-like position, he shook any loose sand out of his mane, before taking a better look at the Goddess. She was quite fabulous, but before he was given a chance to say so, the God's weakness was exposed. Compliments.
Bahari'nswi grinned widely as the Goddess went on, her every word accompanied by a gentle purr. At the mention of him being disturbed, he shook his head. "Not at all. We are fully aware of Our greatness, so We are never surprised when others wish to take a closer look." Saying that, he flexed his wing spines, allowing them to arch towards the sky. This was one of his favourite things to do, especially on a sunny day, as the sun passed through the translucent rosey skin between his spines and bathed him in a lovely pink glow. All the better for him to be admired.

Ubuge smiled, her dark eyes closing as she listened to his voice. They only opened again when he had finished her deep, onyx like orbs resting on the big male. She moved slightly the pale sand brushing up around her to create a sort of giant sand bed for her. She wasn't intending to move any time soon, this was far too interesting a conversation with this stunning god.
"Well dahling, one couldn't help but admire, I do so love beautiful things." She puurrs her voice silky smooth as she admired him unshamadly. "My name is Ubuge my handome one, whom do I have the pleasure of conversing with this day my dahling?" She raised a slender brow her dark eyes shimmering like small glistening gems.

Beautiful. In his opinion, that was probably the best word ever to describe himself. "Thank you." He replied in the same neutral tone of voice, simply taking the Goddess' compliments as facts rather than actual compliments. "You are quite fabulous yourself, We must say." It was quite unlike Bahari'nswi to return compliments, but then, he had never met a fellow God who had appreciated him quite this much. Even his good friend Lewatle hadn't showered him with this much attention before.
After the Goddess had introduced herself, Bahari'nswi once again flexed his wing spines. "We are Bahari'nswi, the fabulous God of Fish." After having revealed his own domain, he began to ponder what Ubuge's was. "Might We ask what your domain is?"

Ubuge chuckled lightly, her dark onyx like orbs flickering over the large shimmering god. God of fish? What a strange domain, still she could understand why he was prud, she had seen many beautiful fish in the world, those of the barrier reefs were exceptionally bright and wonderful to watch. Yes his domain suited him.
"You would ask a lady that on a first meeting?" She chidded playfully her eyes glistening like two small stars. "I, my dahling am greed, I know what you are thinking, it is such a fabulous thing to be me." She smiled, she had always thought of herself as the most wonderful thing int he world, she had the most, the best and the biggest of everything.

Bahari'nswi considered Ubuge's domain for some time. Greed wasn't really a good thing. Greed was when others would catch more of his creations than they could actually eat, and yet they would stuff them all down anyway. Judging by Ubuge's size, she seemed just like that. But then, she also had many lovely trinkets and items, so perhaps she was greedy when it came to material posessions as well.
At the Goddess' next comment, Bahari'nswi raised a brow. "We are quite sure it is fabulous to be you, but We are completely certain that it is more fabulous to be Us." He replied with a sage nod.

Ubuge smiled, that content, happy look never fadeing from her maw. "I would have to aggree dahling, really your beauty called me like a wonderful shimmering beacon." She had long since learned how to continue flattery, and the fact that she was the personification of greed certainly hadn't put the large fish god off his tyrade about himself. She was ever so pleased.
She considered ehr options here, she wanted a little part of this beautiful creature to add to her other trinkets, it was difficult though to simply come out and ask. The last god she had taken from hadn't rerally known she was greed. Still perhaps his vanity would convince him.
"I hope you don't mind my dahling, but your beautiful mane shimmers so wonderfully in this light." She smiles her tiny dark eyes glistening hungrily. "I wonder would a lady be able to barter for a small tuft? One would truely adore to add a strand of your beautiful hair to the rest of my trinkets, I'm sure it would far outshine even the gold and gems I have amongst my atire."

"Wonderful shimmering beacon." The God repeated with a smile, evidently pleased with this comparison. Even mortals weren't this eager to acknowledge his greatness, but rather than find something fishy about Ubuge's behavior, Bahari'nswi simply lapped it up. "You're so right." He purred. "We are just that special."
As she went on, the catch was revealed. This Goddess wanted a part of his mane, which wasn't surprising considering her Domain was Greed and she had a bunch of trinkets already. Bahari'nswi saw no harm in it though, and was more than willing to honour her request as long as the compliments kept coming. "If We were to gift you with a small piece of Our fabulous mane, where would you keep it? It wouldn't do for you to lose it."

Ubuge's grin spread all the wider, if that was at all possible, he was saying yes, she would have a beautiful peice of this marvelous god with her forever. It made her tingle. She puurred her eyes taking on an almost euphoric look to them.
"I have never lost a trinket yet my dahling. I think, your beautiful mane would make a wonderful hair extention, what do you think?" She reached forward then her large black, pudgy paw gently, carefully touching the thick silky mane. "Yes, it would make a wonderful addition to my trove, a more prized posession I don't think I could ever own." She whispers, her voice ever complimentary, full of adoreation for the large god and his shimmering mane.

The God of Fish found her answer to be acceptable. She had many lovely treasures, but as long as his mane was considered to be her most prized possession, there was no reason for him not to give it to her. "We think it would look superb in your mane." Saying that, he sat up and lifted his paw in order to take a strand of it. He then used one of his claws to carefully cut the strand from his mane. Having done that, he returned to his laying down position and held the strand out towards the Goddess in his paw. He had seemingly been generous, as the strand was quite thick. In reality, he had only made it that big because he wanted it to be completely visible when Ubuge wore it. "We hope this pleases you."

Ubuge puurrs holding her paw out to take the beautiful strad of mane. oh yes, this was very pleasing to her, she would have to have it weaved in to her own hair like an extension she decided, she'd need soemone with very skillfull claws to do that and there was only one lady she could think of capable of such a feat.
"I will take good care of it dahling." She purrs lifting the foxish fur which cuircled her throat to reveal a bag which shimmered silkily, she opened it and folded the thick strand of hair in to it. " have to go to my good friend saana to make sure it's spome where where everyone can see it dahling, I don't want it to get lost." She smiled her dark piggy eyes almost vanishing between her thick cheeks. she was so pleased to have met bhari, so very pleased indeed.

Bahari'nswi grinned and gave a breif nod of his head. It wasn't often that the happiness of another pleased him, but for some reason, making Ubuge happy seemed like a good thing. Most likely because she had been so full of compliments for him. In his eyes, that made her worthy enough to own a piece of his magnificent mane.
With all that out of the way, he wondered now if the compliments would keep coming. "As the God of Fish, We are responsible for the creation of every single fish in existance." He grinned. "Fish are far superior to anything else one would find in the sea, or any other body of water." Bahari'nswo then raised a brow, suddenly rather curious of the Goddess. "What is it that you do within the domain of Greed?"

Ubuge stayed exactly where she was, spending time with a god, even a god so full of himself pleased her. he had given her what she wanetd so she could spend some extra time curled up in the sand with him. She chuckled softly and picked her words.
"Oh dahling my domain is far too uninteresting for your ears, it really wouldn't do to bore one so beautiful." She smiled lightly those dark onyx like eyes shimmering in an all too pleased manner. "There are some very beautful fish in the sea, all shimmering in blues and reds and ever so deep fiery yellows, you must be ever so proud."
She sighed happily settling, if at all possible, further in to herself, her large, house cattish stance making the sand around her move to cup her bulky frame. "Would you mind dahling if I took a nap? One needs ones beauty sleep, it' a long flight to ones friend."

"Beautiful." Again, Bahari'nswi found himself repeating the words that pleased him most. And she was right, her domain probably was borning. After all, anything that wasn't to do with him was boring to an extent, although he would never admit that because that would be rather rude. Instead, he just nodded and smiled as Ubuge went on about his creations. "We are very talented."
When the Goddess began to curl up and settle, Bahari'nswi looked out over the sea. He had relaxed for long enough it seemed, and he should probably get back to tending his creations. "It was a pleasure meeting you Ubuge. We hope that you will come and visit Us once you've had Our mane fitted into yours." Saying that, the large God slowly but gracefully got to his feet. Once he was stood up straight, his wing spines stretched towards the sky before he folded them back down again and made his way towards the sea. As soon as he was out far enough, he dived into the depths, his love for himself fully renewed having met the Goddess of Greed.
