Caprice swam around on her stomach in the water in circles. Ho hum... She whispered, sighing. Every once in a while Caprice dove down into the salty water hoping to find some sort of excitment, but she always floated back to the surface, disappointed. It has been days since any visitors ventured towards her beach. Not that too many ever came, but every week or so a horse would stop and take a little dip in the refreshing water.
In frustration, Caprice propelled herself towards the shore. Being bored is almost always directly proportional to being tired or lazy. This is definitely true for Caprice. She stopped where the water was shallow enough for her head to stick out over the surface. Then, with another loud sigh, Caprice closed her eyes and went into a light sleep.

Cloven hooves clomped against the smooth rocks of the cliffs that led down to the most beautiful shore. His pink pupils narrowed as his eyebrows knit together trying to decipher the easiest ways to get back to the place where he had called home once. His heart thumped as he became frusterated. He snorted roughly as he stumbled ramming his knee into a sharp grove. He grunted as his body tensed and trembled.
He made a leap and could feel the sand graze his chest as it came up like a wave as he landed. That wasn't so hard...he thought.
His mane fell into face as he made his way to the water. His reflection was clearer than it had ever been, or he had seen. He looked up towards the horizon. The sun set perfectly with the waters, it sparkled so elegantly so beautifully not even he could describe it. A soft smile appeared on his maw just out of sheer beauty.

Caprice lay basking in the warm glow of the sun, flicking her tail randomly to splash water up on her body whenever she got too warm. Little by little she had pulled herself out of the water and onto the sand until it was only her tail that was submerged. Her eyes were still closed, but a moment later a parade of loud noises shook Caprice roughly from her sleep. Staying low, Caprice spotted a black stallion clammering down the hill towards the water. His black color made him stick out like a sore thumb against the light sand.
Even though there was no place for her to hide, Caprice managed not to be seen by the stallion. Besides, he seemed more occupied with the horizon. Snaking up to her hooves quietly, Caprice edged her way closer to where the male was. She had to stop a couple times to keep herself from laughing out in triumph at being able to sneek up on someone.
When Caprice was a few yards away from the male, she couldn't hold in her excitment any longer and burst out, "HEELLLOO~" Then she closed in the rest of the distance and hopped in the sand next to him.

Adonis rose his brow with a soft smile, he knew she was there...well someone was there. "Good afternoon m'lady." The chirp to her voice made reassurance that it was female. He turned to look at her to see she was oddly shaped, or rather made. The tail of a fish, and gills!
"Well, well, well...what do we have here?" he chuckled lowly. "I am Adonis. I don't believe I've met any of your kind before," he added gently. "I am most intrigued."
He flipped his thick bangs from his multicolored eyes to get a better look. Pink pupils drifted to hers as he gazed at her with a gentleman like charm.

Caprice was slightly disappointed to find out the stallion knew she was behind him, since she had watned to suprise him. But he seemed kind, so she would let that slide. Caprice did a little twirl when she noticed the stallion checking out her gills, fins, and tails. She was use to the fact that most horses have never heard of kelpies before, let alone actually seen one. But Caprice was also interested in the stallion. Of course she'd heard stories of unicorns, but none had wandered to her little beach until now.
"Well, well, well Adonis, I'm Caprice!" she said, trying to imitate him. But she couldn't help but giggle between the words. "You're intrigued? Why thank you~" Caprice said. She loved getting attention! Especially from stallions.
Caprice felt herself turn red when Adonis locked his eyes with hers. They had a strange way of grabbing her attention. Before her face could get any redder, Caprice pushed her face forward and said, "I like your horn! It's very pointy."

Adonis smiled, "Pleasure to meet you Caprice," he went into his gentleman mode and took a bow before her. His eyes narrowed "do you always have to be in the water than or you can do whatever you wish?" he questioned. He really was curious, she was a perky little thing. It made him smile when she blushed, it was cute.
"Thanks," he replied with a bit of a chuckle. "I like your gills," he whispered with a wink.

Caprice giggled as Adnois bowed in front of her. She wasn't quite sure how to act because no one had ever treated her this way. Now, everyone she met was kind, but this was a welcomed change. Caprice was half tempted to bow her head a little, but she could manage to do was stand there and giggle.
"Oh, I can go anywhere I want, but I need to take a little dip every once and a while. I love to explore~" Caprice replied, nodding. Despite this, she's never gone too far away from her ocean. The last time she wandered off too far, Caprice started to panic because she couldn't find a stream. Luckily it started to rain!
"Hehe, these old things?" Caprice laughed. Caprice certainly isn't use to all this praise. She wasn't quite sure how to respond, so she looked down and flicked her tail around in the warm sand. "They're nothing special!"
