I have come to a desition that I don't really want to make, because I can't!
I'm stuck between either getting Rune Factory or Cute for my DS.
I'm not sure which one to get, either to wait for Cute, or get Rune Factory. they both sound awesome, but i just want more views...
So what do you guys think?
Rune Factory or Cute?

It depends on what kind of HM gamer you are. If you want a REALLY different HM game with rpg elements thrown into it, get Rune Factory. If you want a traditional HM with all the characters from FOMT and AWL rolled into one, employing the touch screen to care for animals, then get DS Cute. Honestly, they are both just as good as the other, although I slightly like Rune Factory better. RF is good cause you have to beat a storyline to marry some of the girls in the game. That's right, RF has an actual storyline, albeit not a very groundbreaking one. It also has what I hold to be the best character building system of any HM game, in which the activities you perform get easier for the character and take less energy the more you do them. I always hated the powerberry system. You can make an absurd amount of money in the third mine you unlock (by absurd, I mean you can purchase everything in the game after less than a week of mining). I think the touchscreen is overrated animal interaction is overrated in HMDS. My arm hurts just thinking about brushing all of those animals of mine... gonk The only drawback that Rune Factory has is that after you get married there's really nothing to look forward to. Your wife just stands in the same corner of the house, never venturing out into the sunlight and when the baby is born, it never gets any older and you can't interact with it... You can even "cheat" on your wife by going out with and having heart events with other girls in the game!!! rofl I found DS to be too easy, but then again I used the infinite milk glitch in the game to make myself filthy-stinking rich by the end of year one. The teleport stone makes things a LOT easier in that game as well.

I would say that you should get Cute. It is a nice little mixture of Another Wonder Life and MFoMT. It also has crazy new items that make (farming)life so much easier.

I heard that cute is very similar to the other DS version just with fixed glitches and a few additions... I personally really like Rune Factory because I love RPGs and that combines my two favorites things into one- HM and RPGS. ^^
If you don't like RPGs though that's probably not a good choice because there is a lot of fighting, leveling up, and to do farming things in the game a good deal of the time you need to progress through the game versus Cute in which you just continue doing the HM thing without all the additions. So I suppose it just depends on the type of HM game play you are looking for.

if you didnt already play the original one
it's about the same(with some more changes) and you play as a girl

Well when every buddy asked me about a mouth ago witch Harvest Moon game are you look forward to the most, Cute or Rune Factory 2, I said Rune Factory 2. I love Rune Factory alot more then Harvest Moon DS.
I would only get Rune Factory if you are willing to play a real-time RPG with the same amount of time that you would put into a Harvest Moon game and times it by 10 for when you first start out. IT'S HARD, even when you think you got something down, you don't most of the time. And allot times you go on for days and days just getting money to go back to the cave and if you want to get married that taking what I just said above and taking by 10 AGAIN.
Rune Factory is fun if you like to work and play a good RPG. After you get a hang of it, you will likely love Rune Factory.
Cutes nice if you liked Harvest Moon DS. That all.

If you've already played HM biggrin S then you should get Rune Factory
DS Cute had some improvements but still has almost the same game play as HM biggrin S plus the new game(Harvest Moon Island of Happiness) comes out in a month(June) in which you can play as a boy or girl
Plus Rune Factory is a new twist on Harvest moon and a great expierence
It's a great game that has elements no other Harvest Moon game has had, while DS Cute has very similar, original gameplay.
But.......Rune Factory 2 comes out this year too
........your decision
