Today must be my lucky day. I spotted a new foal today! She is a beautiful, orange and white stripped pegasus. I was reminded of a clown fish as I watched her through the telescope. She stumbled around on ackward legs for about half an hour before she finally was confident that they worked. I'm so happy. I've already decided to call her Malte. Hopefully she will meet Ioni and Via and become friends with them. It'd be interesting to see them interact and I think she could probably learn something from them.

I tried to fly for my first time today. I didn't do so good. Mom and Dad went flying with me, but they both got really frustrated and yelled easily. Mom explained afterward that it was because they were both really worried that I'd crash and get hurt or something. I guess I can understand that, but I really hope they lighten up. How am I ever supposed to learn anything if they're too busy worrying about me to teach me? That won't be any fun. Anyways, we're going to go eat and then I'm going to try to find some other foals to play with. Mom and Dad agree that I should make as many friends as I can and I plan to.

Well, my hope came true! Today, I watched Malte interact with several other foals her age and meet Via and Ioni who seemed to have chosen to adopt another one of the foals, Aki, as she is known by her watcher. Malte seemed to have great fun with her new friends and be awed by Via. It was so cute it made me laugh. I've watched her have several flying lessons, her teachers including both her parents and one session by Ioni. I've got great hopes for Malte and so far, I see nothing that could make her not suceed in life. Good luck, little Malte.
