There are many belief's about death, or more specifically, death gods. The Japaneses believe in shinigami. To the Europeans, there was one angel, the angel of death, who killed people. there were to many to count. however, there is, in actuality, multiple "reapers" so to say, that pass down their power from generation to generation. in fact, there is an underground city filled with reapers. each of them has a single, simple job: to find and kill those who's time has come. in simpler terms, they are death. Families are in charge of certain area's, however, only one member of the family has the reaping power at any given time. they all have similar powers, such as flotation, but they all have something that makes them unique.
A BRIEF HISTORY: The first reaper was what started the "Grim Reaper" look. he chose the look of a black cloak, and a skeleton body. his son spawned the "angel of death" which was similar to the Grim Reaper, but with multiple differences. for instance, he had black raven wings, his cloak did not cover his head, and when he was about to take a life, he would let out a maniacal laugh that even the living could hear. all the looks of death gods were created off of how each reaper looked, however, not all reapers utilized a scythe. many used sword, axes, knives, daggers, even guns and clubs. the reapers were not limited by their weapon style. about 1000 years after the death of Christ, The first reaper tournament was held. the reaper tournament, since then, has been held every few years, where the first reaper, still alive, would watch the young reapers do battle, and show off their skills. originally, it was a small scale tournament, however, as time progressed, so did the tournaments magnitude. currently, all the contestants are taken to an island with a single massive arena in it. outside were two separate schools, each governed by a different reaper.the schools were named: The grim campus, and the Institute of reaping. the reapers would come to the schools, learn how to fight, take specialized classes, and then they would enter the tournament to learn who was the best. The prize was one wish. the one thing that the reaper wanted more than anything in the world, and it would be granted.

Bio: Star grew up into a rich family, unfortunatly, that's what brought on the pain. Well, for her parents anyways. Her parents were murdered, and Star guesssed the murderer didn't know she existed, and therefore thought their money would go to whoever they worked for. Well, Star got all the money, and regularily treats herself to life's luxeries. Currently, she drives a yellow 911 porsche, since she loves speed. Star took up reaping about a year ago, and it proved she was a natural. Star now enjoys her work, maybe even a little too much.

Personality: Always seen with the lift at the corner of his mouth, Simon comes off as too lighthearted and casual about life, at times even to the point of cold heartlessness. His wit and sense of humor hide his true emotional distance and reluctance to form lasting bonds with people because he just might have to kill them the next day.

Bio: Rion grew up in a normal house hold, he had always know of his family history of reapers but only his mother ever took up the job which left rion with his father most of the time. Now his family was not bad off they had money and rion got what he needed or wanted but on his 13th birthday his mother finally started his training and he became a reaper and he became a rather good one really fast thanks to his mother who trained him. the problem was that his family was often seen as outcast in the reaping society because their family was small and rion was an only child and so where his parents when they were young. but none of that ever mattered to him,then five years later his family received a letter and everything seemed to change, his mother became more strict in his training and was often distant , it wasnt untill half a year after the letter came that she told him about the school and the tournaments that he would possibly be taking part in. it was clear his mother was afraid for him but rion shrugged it off and thought of it as a chance to meet other reapers. a few months later on his 19th birthday he left and began his journy to were the tournaments would be, he is now living at the school and passes each day like normal

It was Matt's first year here, he wasn't used to a boarding school. He just called them hotels.As soon as he had gotten his room assined to him he grabbed his book bag and took the stairs. Avoiding all the social people. This is going to be hell... being stuck with all these socail people so happy... It's overrated.He arrived soon enough and stuck the key in the lock struglign to turn it while blancing his weponry. He opend the door to an empty room. "Thank god..." He dropped his stuff on the floor and laid on the bed furthest away from the window.

He herd the screatchign car and peered out the window. Uh.. she lookes like the girl that lived down the street from me. Diffrent car..I pray to god there not all stuck up, like most that I've seen. He laid back down on the ground. He started to think aloud. "I wonder who my roomate is?"

He was surprized by the music he herd. It sounded fimilar and close. He got up and walke dout of his dorm room fallowing the sound. He stoped a few dorms down. He knocked on the door. What the hell am I doing.!!Was th eonly thought going threw his mind.

Star paused the music, hearing the door being knocked on.
"come in.." SHe said, sounding bored. She finished the on magazine and turned to another one, flipping the front cover open. She started flipping through, like she did with the other one.

"Hi, sorry for bumping into you." She said softly smiling at him then turning back to a frown as she slowly continued to walk.

"Good to know roommate." She said stopping and walking back to the dorm. "I'm Kathrine." She said slinging the laptop bag over her shoulder and offering her hand.
