The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are the forces of man's destruction described in the Christian Bible in chapter six of the Book of Revelation. The four horsemen are traditionally named after the powers they represent: War, Conquest, Pestilence and Death.
They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
After years of there release the four raped the earth doing as they would. When all was done and the world was ready for the dawn of a new day the four went there seperate ways each to rule their own Kingdom until they're power was needed yet again.
Since then the original four have died, their powers, conquest and thrones being passed down through the generations.

You currently find yourself in the land of Wolf's Pride which is ruled over by the descendent of the third horsemen. The third horseman, riding the black horse, is called Pestilence. Its rider holds a scale, which could be a representation of the 'scales of pitiless justice' which commonly represent inequality and corruption.
The Black Horsemen resides in a the castle Phoenix. It resides at the base of a mountain, below it lies the kingdoms main city. Embeded in the mountain side is a series of waterfalls which lead to a river that goes along side the town and cuts through the rolling hills just past it.
