Personality || Ophelia's one of those people who is genuinely nice. Childhood's uncertainty has evolved into counter-culture confidence, though she does feel the need to seek the approval of others. While in her heart she's certain of her skills, she has a tendency to get insecure when showered with attention that she isn't entirely sure she deserves. She's bright and happy around her friends, but she retains a shyness with strangers that turns flirting into a downright painful activity.

Occupation || Artist/Master-rank World Painter/Art teacher at Liberty Center
Personality || A formerly reclusive artist and now the art teacher at Liberty Center. About a year and a half ago, Prosper received a cabbage as payment for a series of paintings, and it turned his quiet life upside down. After living alone for fifteen years after the death of his wife, Prosper found himself suddenly caring for a daughter who forced him to re-familiarize himself with Gaian society. Training her as his apprentice in the art of World Painting renewed the Painters Council’s interest in him, and so his hermitic life has been ended on all sides.
With the addition of a second child a bit under a year later, Prosper is beginning to enjoy the family life he thought he might never have. Additionally, and perhaps something of a surprise to him, he enjoys teaching at Liberty. There is something refreshing about working in non-magical paints and inspiring children to love art.
He is distant and solemn, but by no means unfriendly. He is not troubled by the company of others, nor does he find it particularly important. He enjoys good conversation and a cup of tea from time to time, but it otherwise happy to be left to his own devices. His children understand that there are certain aspects of their father and his past that they may never fully grasp, and are content to speculate – the truth is either far more boring or far more fantastic than they could ever imagine.

**Tidewater**
North of Aekea the world changes. The land begins to roll gently into hills and then into sand-dunes covered in squat scrub bushes and palm trees. The air first becomes fresh, and then fragrant with salt and sea-oats. This is Tidewater.
The area is relatively under-populated, one of Gaia's best kept secrets. It was here that Prosper chose to set up his painting studio and home, in a cottage perched on the dunes overlooking the ocean.

Apparently a childhood playmate, and father's new apprentice. I'm fond of her, but we don't relate in the same way as we used to. I suppose I'm just too old.
Melchy - repulsed by/dislikes
I can't stand him! I'm not really sure why, just that I can't. He did something to me, but it was like forever and a decade ago.
Keres - Distant with/indifferent
A friend of Melchy's? She was at the beach party, but I didn't really get any chance to form an opinion of her.
Madeline - Friendly with/likes
Maddy and I are both terrible at math, so we kind of commiserate in the remedial class. I've known her a really long time.
Leviathan - Close with/really likes
Levi's my surfing buddy, and he's always been really nice to me. He's a total sweetheart, even if he has some questionable ideas sometimes. Fish likes him, too.

Tink, or Tinkerbell, if you want to be proper, is a fairy originally from the world of Spritza. She accompanies Ophelia increasingly often and has proven intelligent, with a keen sense of humor and fun. Tink is currently on extended holiday with Peter Pan.
