Having by this point made several rather thorough surveillances of the islands, Nami was well enough convinced of their safety to swim over to the main land. As much as she loved her islands homes, she occasionally liked to venture out beyond, her exploratory nature hardly ever ceasing. She shook the water out of her fur once she reached the beach then looked around. There seemed to be a male not too far off from where she was from what her Byakugan could tell. Curious, she headed off in his direction to meet him.

Higure sat on the beach not really paying attion to anything except how the sun looked on the water. He watched as the waves made a different design each time it touched the sand. He heard a couple small crunching sounds coming from his side. He looked over and a couple feet away stood a blue and black wet vixen.

"Hello!" greeted the said vixen cheerfully as she made her way over. "Beautiful day out, isn't it? My name is Nami." Nami was usually a rather chipper fox and had to make mental notes to herself to tone it down a couple of notches. She had learned by this point that too much cheerfulness could be rather irksome to some foxes.

Higure smiled at her. "Hello Nami, I'm Higure and its nice to meet you" he told her kindly. She was just as hyper as his sister. He could see it in her and that she was holding it back. "You don't have to hold back your personality. It's ok," he told her.

"Nani?" she said with a smile, wagging her tail behind her. "I'm not really hiding it..." the vixen replied with a grin. "Just saving some energy in reserves." Nami appreciated in the back of her mind how this fox was fine with her chipperness. "So, Higure, what'cha doing out here on the beach?"

Higure nodded in acceptances "I understand and as for what I am doing here, well I was thinkink today would be a good day to wounder around outside of the Bamboo tribes land. After walking for awhile I found my self here watching the waves." He told her with kind of a goofy smile.

"Oh? Bamboo tribe?" Nami replied, impressed. "I hear that its huge... Do you like it?" she asked curiously. Hearing about other tribes always proved interesting to her, though she couldn't be happier with her own.

"Yeah, that tribe is the biggest. From what I know it has the most foxes so there for more territory to hold all of them," Higure said thoughtfuly then pause before continuing "I'll have to double check with my father or Uncle to be 100% sure. What about your tribe?"

"Well, it's probably not too big in comparison to yours, but I don't think it's terribly small either," she said with a shrug. "I enjoy it though. ^^ Hey, do you want to go fishing?"

"Well the Bamboo really isn't my tribe, I can go there because most of my family is in that tribe. As for fishing I'll give it a shot since I've never fished before," he told her trying not to be embressed as he nodded.

"Sou ka?" she replied, more so to the tribe thing rather than the fishing. She knew that most of the land modis didn't bother with trying to catch fish, but for those living on islands it was a main staple. Though she herself was much better at catching crabs since she wasn't exactly a hunter.
"Ok! ^^ Let me see if I can spot any schools anywhere." The water-patterned vixen activated her Byakugan once more and cast her gaze on the water next to them. "Well, no school, but there's a small group swimming over there," Nami said, pointing with her tail. "Let's go."

Higure folllowed Nami's lead. She obviously knew what she was doing, while he had only an idea. He stepped into the water and watched as it rippled.

"You can try catching one from this side, and I'll corner them on that side," Nami said, splashing through the shallow water as she bounded around to the other side of the fish. This seemed to spook them a little, as they immediately swam into deeper water. "Oops. My bad. ^^; Uh, shall we go crabbing then?" she suggested, the fish now being too far in for them to catch without swimming under water."

The water vixen splashed her way back to the beach playfully and immediately began digging in the dirt for some crabs. "Ever eat crab before?" she asked casually, he eyes not leaving the sand beneath her paws.
