Welcome to Aki-dubbed "Kaloni Valley"! The hyperactive, playful, bright unisus has decided for herself that from now on "Unisus Valley" will be named after the sky. Feel free to join me, I love a good roleplay!

Aki flipped over in the air over Unisus Valley, whinnying happily. "This valley really should be called Kaloni Valley," she suggested to no one in particular. "It's so full of sky, and the sky is so wonderful..." The little filly looked down at the ground, far below. She felt sorry for the poor unicorns who were born wingless, earthbound. Skimming low over the lush, green grasslands, Aki bowled headlong into a brown-and-white unicorn colt.

Kynan tumbled head over hooves, landing splayed on his stomach with another foal on top of him. Immediately he righted himself, shying away from the newcomer.
"What was that?" he exclaimed.
A grey-white filly with black wings and a striking, bright red mane was rolling happily in the grass, seemingly unaware that she had disturbed someone suddenly and rudely. Utterly baffled at this little foal, he took a step closer.
"Who are you?"

Aki looked up in mid-roll to see the colt she had crashed into standing over her, a slightly irritated look on his face.
"I'm Aki," she giggled. An apology had not even crossed her mind. "Do you want to play?"

Kanoa watched longingly from the edge of the nearby forest as the grey-and-red filly pranced playfully around a colt. It was the same colt she had seen the day before, the one who loved plants.
Fascinated, she observed as the filly rolled, giggled, and fluttered her developing wings. If only she could have that kind of courage, to meet other foals...

Kynan stared. This pegasus had just run him over, nearly destroyed one of his favorite young trees, and was now innocently asking if he wanted to play. "You've got to be kidding me," he said slowly. The red-headed filly was so...irrepressible. He sat down and watched a dandelion dissolve slowly into the air. When he looked up, Aki was gone.
Relieved, the unicorn got to his feet and trotted back to the elm. "How come other unisi are so strange?" The elm didn't answer, but he felt better nevertheless. Other unisi were so complicated. He wished he was a big, strong oak, with such a simple life. Saplings didn't have to deal with overbearing parents. They just grew up on their own...

Aki watched, disappointed, as Kynan deliberately ignored her. What was so much better about his plants, anyways? She looked away to hide the tears welling in her large eyes, then leapt into the air, flying swiftly away.
The gentle breeze of the fresh spring air caressed her face, lifting the tears away. Aki began to feel her spirit soar again. "There's always other foals to play with," she said to the wind. "Kynan can play with his dandelions and daffodils all he wants." Still, there was a slight tug at her heart. Was it her carefree attitude that had chased the unicorn away?

Malte studied the white filly for a long moment before she gently nudged her shoulder from behind, smiling. "What are you doing?" The orange and white striped pegasus smiled warmly at her. "Are you going to play too?"
Via glanced to Ioni with a grin before she looked back out into the valley, watching the foals. "Just think Ioni, someday, those could be our children flying around and playing. Won't that be wonderful?" Ah, the unicorn just couldn't wait!
"Yes, Via. I can't wait either." Ioni smiled at the mare beside him, ducking his head to gently nuzzle her stomach. He raised his head again, watching the female pegasus run into the young unicorn. "Shall we go talk to them? You can still play, right?" Neither of them were going to do anything to risk the foals Via carried.

((Yayz! Congrats on Via's pregnancy!))
Kanoa turned around, startled. A bright orange pegasus filly with white stripes stood slightly behind her. "I--" she blushed, shy. "I'd like to." She smiled, feeling like she was missing something...
"Oh, yes, my name is Kanoa."

(( whee Thanks. I'm excited too.))
"I'm Malte. Come on, if you want to play, then let's go." She smiled at Kanoa, flicking her tail behind her. "Have you met them? I haven't yet, but I'd like to." The filly glanced over her shoulder, noting that her parents did indeed know where she had wandered off to. "I bet it'll be fun." She added, nudging the other female forward.

((Ha, edited so that their first posts have links to their uncerts. blaugh ))
Finishing his one-sided conversation, Kynan looked around. He was alone...except that just inside the forest there was a bright orange pegasus filly. Pretending not to notice, he bent down his head to graze. He knew he was just putting off the time when he had to go home, but he denied it to himself.
"Father will kill me when he finds out I refused to play with other foals again," he thought glumly. He never knew whether his widower father really cared about him or not. "He'll tell me I need to stop talking to plants and start eating them, and then he'll send me to bed." With this thought lingering in his head, he went down to the river for a drink.

Kanoa panicked, trying to back up. Her long filly legs tangled with each other and she ended up in a confused heap on the ground. Her eyes began to water. What would Malte think of her now? She always had to be so clumsy... Maybe she should just wait until she was older to start making friends.

Aki turned lazily in the air, looking back to where she had met Kynan. There were now two pegasi emerging from the trees nearby. "Operation graceful landing," she thought to herself as she turned around. She really wanted to make a good impression.
"Okay," the red-headed filly thought as she flew downwards. "Not too much talking, listen to what they say..." She repeated what etiquette she had learned from trial-and-error. Preoccupied, she forgot where she was going and landed clumsily on top of Malte. She rolled her eyes at herself. "So much for graceful."
Quickly disentangling herself from her dive-bomb victim, she found her footing and brightly introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Aki."

((Once I get the uncerted of Malte I'll make an image with the headshots of them like I've been doing for their journals and PRPs))
Ioni frowned, watching the brown and white foal start off alone. He nudged his friend's cheek softly. "I'll be right back, I'm going to go see what's bothering him." The pegasus said, before reluctantly pulling away from Via to trot after Kynan. "Hey lad, what's bothering you?" He asked as he slowed to a walk at the foal's side.
Malte blinked, taking a few steps back as Kanoa fell before she once again stepped close. "Are you alright? You're not hurt are you?" She asked with worry in her voice, nudging the other softly. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" She began to cry also, afraid that she'd hurt Kanoa. As she was landed on, the foal fell over as well, looking at Aki, startled. "I'm M-Malte." She stuttered, looking back to Kanoa.
Via nodded as Ioni left, flicking him teasingly with her tail as he passed. The unicorn watched Aki for a moment before she noticed the two foals crying toward the edge of the valley. Immediatly, the mother to be started forward at a fast trot, coming to a stop next to them. "Are you two alright? Shhh, don't cry. It's okay." She nuzzled the top of their heads softly, concerned.
