It had been a month since Nevaeh first came into the care of Baal. She had learned that even though he was the son of a fierce demon, he was very gentle. Not just that...but for a lion his age he was very wise and nothing about him spat out selfishness. In fact from what she had observed of mortal lions before she had been cast out, he was one of the most selfless ones. A quality she'd come to learn he acquired from his mother.

During her time with him, as each day passed she grew more and more comfortable with his terrain and would often wander off just to explore. During her explorations she would often find herself thinking of Baal and all of the help he had given her. Such thoughts also brought her to form a liking of him and made her contemplate of asking to stay with him. Thing was she didn't have the courage to ask him and that is what she was trying to get herself to do while she was out on her own. She was trying to talk herself into doing it...more so mentally than verbally.

Laying down, while in though, she allowed her paw to fall into the nearby pond.

For the past month Baal had cared for and watched over his 'guest'. He'd grown and mixed healing herbs for her wounds and made sure they were healing nicely. The scars were inevitable, as they were severe. Still her wounds were now healed over and passed all threat of infection or reopening. He walked along, seeking her out yet taking his time. She was free to go now, but to tell the truth, he had grown fond of her...

Grey eyes surveyed the scene. She was laying down by the edge of a pond, one paw in the calm waters. It was serene. Still if she wished to go then he had no right to ask her to stay. Slow but sure he made his way to her, black paws almost silent over the ground.

The gentle nibbling of a fish brought her from her thoughts and caused her to smile. "What do you think I should do little Koi. Should I put aside my bashful behavior and fear of being a bother further to ask to stay with Baal? Or should I simply just move on and make find my new place in this world?" Her answer was the continued nibbles and then retreat of the Koi fish. She couldn't help but chuckle.

"It must be so wonderful to be as worry free as the fish in this pond." A sense of not being alone suddenly took hold of her and so Nevaeh looked over her shoulder to see who may have been there.

Her answer would be a rather familiar half demon with a smirk on his face standing only a few feet away. "Should I take those contemplations as a request or let you go on considering what you should do?" He drew up beside her and sat back on his haunches, watching her.

"I see you heard my pondering.." Nevaeh looked away to hide the blush that was threatening to show through her pale fur. "Yes...it would be favorable if you took my pondering as a request. I do not know how you feel but I've grown rather fond of this place...just as I have grown fond of you and your company."

He nodded. "I have grown to enjoy your company myself. You are welcome to stay here for as long as you wish to. I would be honored." He was smiling, which was rare for him. Still he was to happy to bottle it up like he usually did his emotions.

A smile played on her maw and she turned to face him now, her blush having calmed. "Good. Now I've all the time in the world to unlock the mysteries that you seem to enshroud yourself in. By the way, you've got quite the charming smile. I'd like to see it more often."

He blinked and lifted his head, trying not to grin even worse. "I have no idea what you're talking about. I most certainly am not smiling. And I am but a simple half demon who has no mysteries." It was hard to keep from smiling.

"Not smiling eh? Please. I most certainly would recognize a smile when I see one and to have one of such radiance...well how can I possibly over look it?" Getting up she moved a bit closer to Baal and sat on her haunches. "Further more, yes it is fact that you are half demon but the same can be said of you being half nymph. Nymphs are mysterious enough themselves. As are demons when they want to be and you have plenty of mystery that I intend to bring to light to reveal their truths."

He smirked, still feigning innocence. "Nymphs aren't secretive.... we just like keeping others out of our gardens.... And my father's ever been up front about everything. He's more towards the rude & blunt side of demons."

"Well yes but even still, there is a mystery to those creatures and that can not be denied. However, I'll humor you by saying that you don't shroud yourself in mystery though I believe other wise." She looked away for a moment to the path that led to his fathers domain and then to the path that led to his mothers. "I would like to meet your family. After all they are the reason I got the chance to meet you."

He thought for a moment, staring at the calm water before them. It was a few moments before he answered, giving her a nod. "It shall be so. Later I will take you to my mother's domain so you may meet her and her mate. I believe my younger siblings have moved on by now, but she will know where to find them. My sisters are easy enough to find. .....Are you quite sure you wish to meet the demon side of my family?"

"Yes. Even though they are demon, they still are your family and have every right to claim some involvement with bringing you into this world. You never know...we just may find some common ground and find a way to be friends if anything. Besides, you'll be there with me. So I know that I'll be safe should anything happen."

He glared at the water. "I'll keep an eye on my father. I'm not worried about my siblings who live with him." His wings ruffled. There was no way he was letting Snare pull one of his stunts on Nevaeh. If he dared try touch her....

The sudden change in his body language made her worry but that was pushed aside with her need to comfort him and there was only one way she new to do that. Moving even closer, she leaned her head against him and began to nuzzle him while purring.
