Eyes widened, the young adolescent male padded forward into the new lands. He instantly thought of Kenzi as he entered. The beauty of the lands was just the beginning. Soon, he hoped to run into one of the members of the lands. "So, this is the Ela'wadiyi? Seems like Kenzi wasn't kidding about this place, after all. So beautiful ..."
His eyes were drawn to all around himself. And a great feeling of warmth and happiness stayed close to his heart. He would be far from his father, and that was all that mattered now. All he had to do was make some friends, and get to know the inhabitants of the Ela. The goddess didn't go into much detail besides the name of the lands, and what it was like. It only seemed like she flew over and never really entered with permission. Though, that was to be expected. She was already helpful enough by leading him to this place.
Smiling, young Ajabu'kenai padded ahead and awaited to discover new adventures.

She was a little lost. Though she knew she hadn't strayed too far from her parents, their den and her siblings, she felt rather alone. The long grass obscured her view of the world and she didn't have a clue which way home was.
"Mama!" She called though really, she didn't need to make any more noise. her paws danced accross the land moving every inch of grass, leaf and peice of rubble. She had noisey feet and as such it was never hard to hear her comeing. She was a little lost though so her paws dragged all the more creating far more noise than she intended.
"Mama! Mama where are you!" She sniffled her wide, beautiful blue eyes soggy with tears.

Hmm? Ajabu's ears swiveled at the sound of a young cub calling. As he heard similar words, his ears folded back. "Shes ... looking for her mother. Sounds like my problem ..." Thinking to himself for a moment, it didn't take long before he followed the voice and soon found the little cub. He came out from behind a tree and slowly towards the cub. "Hey there, little one. Need help getting back home?" He inched forward carefully, trying to not scare her off.
"I'm new around here. My name is Ajabu'kenai. A winged lioness led me to these lands." He paused coming closer and smiled.

Teremas sniffles soon slowed at the apperance of another lion. She of course had no reason to fear other lions having been born in to a pride that was protected by a goddess. Her own mother infact. At the mention of a winged lion teremas eyes went wide. Her mother must have sent this big lion to rescue her from being losted!
Her frown quickly turned in to a big grin her tears instantly stopping. "My mama has wings! did she sended yoo to finds me? I'm vewy losted!" She pouted for a moment. "I lives in the dens with my mama and brothers and sisters and daddy and other lionses too but I dunno which ways it is mista" She lifted a grubby paw to wipe her eyes. "Can you helps me finds it? she blinks up at him rapidly her big, deep, perfect blue eyes looking hopeful.

Oh, so the little cub had a mother as a goddess? Then ... maybe Kenzi knew more then he thought. Thinking for a second, he smiled warmly. "I'm not sure if the Goddess who led me here was your mother or not, but i'll gladly be sure to help you find your home, young one!" He kneeled down and allowed the cub to get on his back. "From up here, i'm sure you can see your home better, right?"
Wow, was that goddess seriously this cub's mother? He had to find out for himself, naturally. It just seemed strange.

Watching the 'big' lion carefully terema giggled as he lay down and she clambered carefully on to his back. her tiny paws continued to move, tapping out tiny steps on his back even when she was up in the air.
It was probably just very good luck that they were faceing the dens where she and her family lived. Barely a stones throw away from her 'lost' possition. "Theres it is!" she giggles pointing at the dens in the near distance.
She'd already decided of course thats he was having a great adventure here. She had been lost in a deep scary grassy thinga nd now she'd been rescued by a big lion who was going to rescue her and take her home to her mama, whom had of course sent the big male out in search of her lost daughter!
She liked this story imencely and her little forepaws danced a little more as she formed it in ehr mind. She would have to tell the tale to her siblings later of her great escape from the lost place!

Ajabu playfully stood back up and peered around carefully. Once she pointed towards her home, he leaped happily. "Ah! Your right! I'll be sure to take you there right away!" Keeping his eyes locked on the 'target', he readied to leap into action. Ajabu the great protector of the Ela would show these tall grasses how great he really was! Pouncing, he lept over the grasses and then fell back into them. Peering up, he looked at the dens again with a grin.
"... Three ... Two ... One." Running as fast as he could, he darted forward and it only took a few seconds until he was at the opening of the den. He leaned down and let the cub off his back, and with a smile he sat down and looked at her.
"So, here you are! Safe and sound where your mother can watch you." He curiously peeked into the opening, to see if it really -was- the goddess who had helped him to the lands. Could it really be Kenzi?

Terema giggled as the older lion leapt throught he long grass. She held tightly to him her little tuft of a fringe blowing away from ehr eprfect blue eyes with every bounce. "Whee!" she gigled though it soon came to a stop. She rolled off his back happily her tiny toes tapping the ground as she stood before the large male lion.
"That was great!" she giggled hopping around him happily before coming to a stop and looking at the den. "I was really, really losted!" she giggles, her baby blue eyes fixed on the older male. "Thankyous! Tho I fink maybe mama sended you to finds me any ways." She puurrs her tiny tail wriggling happily.

Mana had noticed that her daughter wasn't with the rest of her children, but she didn't let herself worry about it. She'd give it a bit more time before she would go out and search. She probably just skipped off somewhere, looking for someone to play with. Little danger was in these lands, as the only dangerous thing would be a stray rogue or two, and the crocodiles that lurked in their river.
When she heard voices, though, it certainly stirred her mind. She picked herself up away from the rest of the litter that lurked in their cave to investigate. What her green eyes showed her surprised her. There was Terema, but there was a stranger she was bugging as well!
"So Terema found herself a friend, did she?" she said, her voice thick with honey and humor.

Hmm. Ajabu squinted his eyes to peer at the goddess in the cave. "Why, hello there! I just noticed your daughter was lost and so I helped her get back." Smiling, the adolescent stepped back and watched the cub. "She mentioned that her mother was a goddess, so I had to come see for myself. But, of course, your not the one that helped me come to these lands. I'm certian your not Kenzi. Unless Gods can change their forms ..."
Puzzled, the male thought for a moment. There was no possible way that -this- could be the same Kenzi. It had to be another Goddess. There was more than one, right?

Terema giggles as her mother steps from the darkness of the den. She pounces up to her mother and sits on one of her paws. "mama I was lost an' I couldn't fin' my way back an, an it was scary, an there was like tall grass and stuff.." She trailed off, the good adventuring story, she had thought of while riding Ajabu's back, had been completely bounced out of her head seemingly. She kneeded at her mothers leg with her incesently moving feet, her tiny tongue sticking out between her teeth.
"The big mista lion came and rescued me though he said that a winged lion told him to comes here, I think you sended him to the rescue right mama?" She had no concept of course that there could be any other winged lions in the world, or for that matter that having a winged lion for a mother was anything unusual.

"Oh? He did, did he? Well! Isn't there something we should say to him for hleping us, Terema?" She smiled radiently at her little daughter before lessening it for the stranger. She didn't want to smile like a fool at him!
She bobbed her head in thanks. "Thank you for guiding her home, I hope she wasn't too much trouble. She's got quite the habit of talking until her loses her breathe," she teased, chuckling a bit. "My name is Mana, if Terema hadn't mentioned." She wasn't sure what to think of the whole 'winged lion' aspect that her daughter had mentioned, but she would revisit it if the other wanted to. She knew that gods were not rare, just uncommon, and didn't want to press any sort of ideas onto him. Some mortals liked gods, and others did not.

"Oh, no no. It's alright. Terema deserves to be safely escorted to her home. After all, the poor girl was lost, and it's not very safe to be wandering near or outside the borders of any pride. There's no telling what is on the outside. Well, unless you've been there, like I have. I've traveled far and wide." Kenai smiled contently and watched Terema become reunited with her mother. His heart felt a little extra warm from his good deed, yes. He was off to a decent start.
"Ah, well, a goddess had led me here. She doesn't look like you, though. Her name was Kenzi. A rather nice little goddess. She said this was a rather peaceful, safe place to be. I was hoping her words were true, though by the looks of it around here, it seems she was right." He turned to look at the surroundings. It just seemed like a very calming place to be. The lands were far different from other placed he had visited before. This was a whole new experience.
This really beat foraging and seeking shelter out in the rouge lands.

Terema looked shocked for a moment and bounced off her mothers paws hop skipping and landing quite roughly on Kenai's paws with a grin on her young maw. "Thankyou for finding me an, an for bringing me home an thankyous!" she giggles rolling of his paws and returning to her mother once again placing her butt on her mothers paw a pleased smile rolling across that young face.
"How was that mama? Did I do good?" She blinks owlishly seeking her mothers approval, she did so love to see her mothers radiant smile turned in her direction.

"Oh? Kenzi...she's quite nice," she said with a smile. It had been a while since she had seen her. She gathered up her daughter close with her free paw before continuing. "It's definately a very calm place to live." Mana was used to things a little more loose, but it was certainly a pride that mortals would love to live in.
She lowered her head to touch her nose on her daughter's forehead. "Perfect, darling. Good manners are always very lady-like." She encouraged her children to grow up the best as they could, and good manners always seemed to be the base of that.
She raised her head back up to smile at Kenai. "If you're curious about our homeland, you should search for Terema's father, Tawa'di. He will certainly help you out if you so desire it." She shuffled her wings to drap along her side, as they were hard to fold up on her sides with their length.
