Ever been?
Are you going this year?
If so, which one are you attending?
I've never been before, but ive just bought a ticket for the one in Leeds (UK)
The bands appearing are:
Ensiferum
Korpiklaani
Moonsorrow
Eluveitie
Tyr
+ special guest
when i booked my ticket the lineup also had wintersun on the list, but i think thats a mistake, though i hope it isn't! hehe
Tickets are less than £20
Get your asses there! xD

Yeah the Wintersun thing was only really early on. My friend was telling me last summer about "a folk metal festival in Leeds" and it was even better news when it emerged it's a massive tour. Would've been going to Leeds if it was just that one but it's not as convenient, even she, the gaian Liverpudlian, has defected to London. domokun
Ironically, I went all the way to Bradford with the same girl in 2006 to see Wintersun and Tyr.

aw, well im sure it'll be an experience even if im on my own, theres always somebody who's had enough drink to talk to a stranger xD

apart from korpiklaani, i think turisas are going instead of them
And forger - Once you've seen turisas, you'll be looking out for every viking/folk/celtic metal band out there playing live
its even better than it is on Cd, its just a brilliant experience
Im going to paganfest on my own cos i just wanna be there, drowning in the crowds and creaming in my panties xDDD

I'm always surprised how little Americans bother checking the lineup when they get so few concerts anyway. One actually bitched at Europeans for having Paganfest as if they somehow didn't. neutral

I am not sure if it goes anywhere else confused ...oh and hooray for Ensiferum whee
