It's been sixteen years since Sarah's awesome adventure to the Labyrinth, but now it's Coby's turn.
Intro! Story! Plotline!
Lately, for the passed few months now, Coby has started to realize how perfect his life is. He's captain of the football team, head lead in the school play, the most popular boy in school, a 4.5 gpa, all the luxories he's ever wanted...
But there's one problem...
He doesn't really want any of that. He isn't any good at football, and yet his team is always winning every single game! He can't act if his life depended on it, and yet he's getting offers from Broadway! He doesn't like any of his friends, he'd rather be alone. There is no such thing as a 4.5 gpa. His parents don't even go to work. So, how can Coby's life be so perfect?
The opening night of his school play, The Labyrinth, and Coby is backstage going over his lines one last time. He can't remember any of the lines; and what's odd is this role is for a girl, yet somehow he managed to land it. Well, he believes he can just wing it. Besides, the crowd will love him anyway.
And they do. While Coby is getting ready to leave, packing up his things in his dressing room, a knock is heard on the door. He answers it, thinking it's his sister, or his parents. It's neither. A tall, pale man stands before him. He's dressed in odd clothing, as if he were part of the play as well. He makes Coby sit down, and begins to explain.
It's time, the man says, to come with him to the land of the goblins and learn to become king. Of course, Coby is skeptical, but once his sister appears in the doorway, Coby knows. He's heard the tale of how he was kidnapped by the goblin king so many times, he can recite it backwards, word for word. The goblin king goes on to tell Coby how all he's ever wanted coming true was the king's doing. As Sarah runs to Coby, to protect him for the goblin king, the trio are suddenly swept away, and Coby finds himself in a large room, alone with the king. Sarah is, once again, outside the walls of the labyrinth.
This is where our story begins....
