Update 2.20 will include BD LIVE *Blu Ray Disc LIVE*.
So what does BD LIVE do? Users will have the ability to obtain downloadable video content, ringtones, games, and more for the movie you're watching.
But that's not all 2.20 will include. The update will also include the following additions: -enable photo and music playlists on PS3 to be copied to PSP - "Resume play" will enable PS3 system to start playing a Blu-ray disc and DVD at the point it was stopped, even if the disc had been removed. - "Audio Output Device" will be a new Remote Play setting, enabling PSP to serve as a remote control for music played through PS3. - PS3 system's Internet browser will be enhanced: Video files directly linked from a Web page will be able to be streamed, and the browser's view speed will be improved. -DivX and WMV format videos that are larger than 2GB will be playable. -"Mosquito Noise Reduction" will be added as an AV setting in the control panel of the DVD/BD player for improved movie playback.

Unlucky Cookie I wish we could listen to music while playing are games... eventually that will come out, its not a major concern IMO however. Some games apparently feature it, part of the issue is that the developer, as much as Sony, must enable the feature.

Pretty cool!
I kinda find it funny that when the Wii and PS3 were both annouced Nintendo made a huge deal over Wii to DS conectivity, while PSP to PS3 was just kinda meh to everyone.
Well going into 2.5 years the PSP to PS3 bond is extremely strong, while the only DS to Wii thing thats out is Pokemon Battle Revolution which is almost a year old. I THINK Japan has a channel for DS demos though that you download from the Wii, but NoA doens't want to do it.

Sailorcancer2004 - "Resume play" will enable PS3 system to start playing a Blu-ray disc and DVD at the point it was stopped, even if the disc had been removed. I don't know about you guys, but this sounds cool. Does it still resume the disc even if you've placed another disc in the PS3 and watched that? I'd say the main problem with playing your own music when playing a game would be that developers feel that you're not experiencing/appreciating the work they put into their own musical score. It could also be distracting when cut scenes occur or when you're supposed to "pay attention" to the game and its directions.

I don't like playlists... I'd rather have folders with folders in them.
