Kurage pouted to herself as she slowly stalked further, and further from home. She felt particularly ignored today, the other cubs grabbing the attention of the adults around them. Since they didn't feel the need to pay any attention to her today, she would simply go on an adventure!
Wasn't she afraid that they would be mad to realize that she left on her own?
Not at all!
Who could be mad with her? The 'innocent' little princess straightened herself up from her stalking, far enough away that she wouldn't be noticed leaving by her family. But now... Where should she go?
Curious golden eyes roamed the grassy fields around them until they fell on a patch of water in the far distance. A watering hole perhaps? With a fanged grin, she began to bound forward through the tall grass, on her way to the distant water.
Though she couldn't help but stop after only a moment when she reached a flower patch, batting at a long stemmed yellow flower to watch it bob back and forth.

Another pare of golden eyes looked upon this female who was so far from home. She too was also where she shouldn't. The dark female looked at the light one sitting stop a large rock.
"Daddies going to kill you" She said bluntly looking to the other female. She was blunt as she looked at her paws rested on the rock. She then returned back to looked at the female with a blank stare.
"You know he hates us wondering off...especially you." She said putting large amount of emotion into the last bit of her sentence to show she was displeased with her older sister. She knew better at least that what the little Kumo thought. She then stood up stretching as she jumped off the rock and splashed in the watering hole that the little 'princess' was venturing too. Kumo then smirked as she laid down in the water getting good and wet. She then took off running and pounced her sister giving her a good wet hug of sorts.
"Gotcha!" She yelled out.

" Hmph! Hardly. Even if you told on me, he could barely stay mad for a moment at me.. You, however... " She purred out, sending her sister a glare, only to screech as she was pounced by the damp and dirty cub.
" KURO!! " She growled, rolling to throw her sister off of her, and instantly setting to begin grooming her poor, abused white fur. " Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep clean? " She muttered under her breath.
She shook her fur out after cleaning what she could reach, hoping that was the only damage done. Slowly, her eyes returned to her sister, brining a paw to her own chest in a before flicking it in a shooing motion. " If you're going to cause problems for me, then I simply wont invite you to join me on my grand adventure! "
She smiled happily, eyes shutting, and practically bouncing with glee. " I'm am going to find myself a prince, who will give me all the attention I could ever want! "

"HA!!! You and what freaken army princess." She said rudely as she glared at her sister. She was only wanting to have a little fun something quite rare for the reserved young lioness. She then stood up as she looked around.
"Guess I have no chose to follow if I'm invited or not cause you know your only going to get stuck somewhere or worse beaten and I'll just have to save you." She said a bet hot headed like. Said the younger female was she moved over to a dead stump she then began to mark it letting their father know they had gone out father then his liking. She was only being respounceable and letting him know. Then turning to the white female she smirked.
"All right miss twink toes lets get a footen." she said as she began to bound off in the direction the princess had chose. She always went ahead scouting that area. Of course she always insisted to her sister it was too keep the little 'princess' save but it was really just to see thing before her stuck up sister. Kumo then began to wounder if real princess where like her and further more if her sister would actually find a charming princes.

She turned her nose up to the air with a slight huff, beginning to move along on her desired path.
Rage was uncaring that Kuro felt the need to do something so childish as to run ahead and back, just to see thing before her, for she knew the girl's motives. Her younger sister was far from being as dignified as her!
A smile came to her lips as she began to hum, enjoying the scenery around her. Why did father care so if they went out on their own? There was never anything near his territory that she'd seen.
Besides that, it was Firekin blood pounding through her veins! Nothing would take her down without a brutal fight. She may be a princess, but she was every bit as Firekin as Bodaway.
Her claws flexed out into the dirt at the mere thought of a fight, smile sliding into a slightly vicious smirk, before vanishing.
No no, it was not proper for a lady such as her to wear that expression for long.

The little female growled seeing her sister move off in a different direction she then gave up and followed. She always her to have her way it was so unfair she was always getting doted on unless she was gone on because she was one of the first born. She growled slightly as she glared at her sister her rage being to plants seeds of jealous with her her vary core.
"Oh look over there is that...what is that!" She yelled out pointing to the far east. She acted as though it was something really important but in fact there was nothing there she just wanted to see if her sister was dumb and gullably enough to look. She kept looking at it seeming so interest then she began to panic actually seeing something it was a large bore.
"Kura...Kurage...when I tell you to run will you listen." she said nervously seeing the bore coming closer.
"KURA!!" she yelled out in a whispered her gaze locked onto the bore so she would know when to strike and try to save her sister for however much she hated and disliked her she still was her sister and loved her.

Kurage wasn't looking. In fact, she wasn't even listening as she slowly backed into her sister. Her eyes were wide and locked on the large golden lioness charging for them. " K- Kuro... " she whimpered, pressing into her sister.
Why was the lioness running towards them!? Was she going to attack? She turned quickly as the lioness got close enough to lunge, catching a flash of the bore coming their way as she forced her younger sister to the ground, covering her with her own body.
A shudder passed through her at the whoosh of air grazing her back, unwilling to open her eyes to see what sounded much like a battle.
Fate was indeed leading her today. She had crossed paths with a God to bring a little light into his life. And he in turn sent here to the watering hole here, where her eyes fell upon two tiny cubs would to meet with a very unfortunate fate.
Her paws were carrying her swiftly towards them long before her mind could register exactly what she was seeing.
Makhi was aware that she had scared one of the cubs herself, but there was just no time to worry about that. She threw herself into a leap over them, claw and fang sinking deeply into the charing bore, halting his attack.
After a short shuffle with the bore, she gave a rough shift of weight, throwing him back away from the cubs, letting out a dangerous snarl as warning. Her claws were poises, eyes dangerous, daring him to even try to get near the cubs again. She would have no problem with taking the creatures life.

The black female was push to the ground from being forced there by the weight of her sister. She then saw this golden colored adult lioness protect them by throwing the bore away and stating her claim to protect them. The little female then turned to her sister to make sure she was okay since they where no longer in danger surely this female would turn on them so suddenly. She must had had a reason to keep them save?
"What where you thinking!" she yelled out shoving her sister off AS she growled and looked to her her eyes heating up with rage. "I told you to run and look what you do you fall on top of me instead!" She yelled as she ignored the other female. "You better be glad that nice lioness over there saved us or we would BOTH be dead by now!" she yelled out harshly giving her sister a good tongue lashing.
She then growled as she turned to the older female bowing. "Thank you for saving our lives we will be on our way now...going home." She finished the last part a a order as she shot a look to her sister.

Rage growled lowly at such treatment after trying to protect her little sister. Ignoring her words entirely, she moved forward to the lioness who saved them with a bright smile.
" Dear lioness. " She gave a deep bow, before smiling brightly up to her. " I thank you so much in your effort to protect me! Seeing as you are such a powerful and kind creature, maybe you would be willing to be my guide? " She asked in a painfully hopeful tone, laying it on thick with her wide puppy-eyed expression.
Makhi's eyes widen a bit at first the gruff younger sister, then the pleading and manipulative younger sister.
" I-.. Your guide? To where..? " She asked slowly with a frown. Such young cubs should not be so far from home. That was obvious by how they were just attacked!
Where could this little one possibly be going that was so important to risk her life?

Kumo turned to her sister un utter rage she the growled as she looked at her. "I HATE YOU!!" She yelled out in a fit of rage as she pounced her sister.
"I always have to do what you want." She yelled out ruffing up Rage's fur not using her claws ofcourse only wanted to beat up her sister not draw blood.
"I always have to look after you cause no one else will!!" She yelled out as she then bite down on her ear her own rage over taking her as growled. She then jumped off breathing heavily as she glared to her sister.
"I hate you I never wanna see you again!" She yelled out as she looked to the adult lioness.
"I'm sorry you have to see this but you do not know how she is no one wants her!" She yelled out as she turned and began to make her way home not saying another word no her blood was on fire and she was not going to take it any longer she was not going to be the littler sister anymore. She was not going to bind to her sister ever will.

Rage was far too shocked by her sister's sudden attack to even think of fighting back. Tears came to her eyes as she watched her sister's retreating back, but she ignored them to scream out after the other girl. " FINE! The only reason I stayed so long was so daddy didn't have to put up with only having horrible, vicious jealous little brats! "
She swiped at the ground, throwing dirt after her sister. " We don't need ANY of you! He'll come find me and the two of us will go off wherever we want!!! "
Shaking the tears away with a cheerful smile, she turned back to the adult. " You'll stay with me til he comes, wont you? It shouldn't take too long. "
She stared back and forth between the two girls in confusion for several minutes, before her eyes fell sadly upon the dirtied white-furred girl. No matter how angry you were, to say such hateful things to your own sister... Hopefully the darker cub would realize her mistake at such words and return.
Slowly, she nodded, not wanting to leave the girl alone. She gave her a gentle smile, settling onto the ground and pulling her over to begin cleaning her. " What's your name, little one? You may call me Makhi. "

Kuro made her way slowly back towards their home she began to fell bad that she did not fell bad for saying those things. She began to look at her feet as she walk not seeing that she was not heading home but somewhere far from it. She stumbled into the jungle growing scared it wasn't till her feet touched the dried dead leafs did she notice.
"Daddy..." She said softly getting scared her tail in between her legs a she looked about frantically she then saw a large dark shadow in the distance as she panicked and began to cry out. The shadow that was coming to her grew still then it seemed to slowly moved and picked her up like a parent would be the nape of her neck it then caressed her in warmth a warmth she had never felt. A warmth of someone that would care for her and be beside her as she cried.
The little cub snuggled into the pelt of a larger cat like being as she whispered. The shadow figure leaned over licking the tears from her eyes as she held her close then once more Kumo was picked up and brought to a small den. The shadow put her down only to have her snuggled up in her warm hold as the shadow licked the small cubs tears away once more.
"Sleep." said the voice of the older female as she so much of herself in the little one crying out for her family when there where not insight.
"Tomorrow we will find your home I promise." She said as she let the tired little black lioness snuggle up close as she almost instantly fell to sleep.

" 'm Rage... " She murmured tiredly, completely exhausted now that all the anger had left her. She snuggled into the larger female, letting herself enjoy the attentions until she managed to drift off to sleep with her.
Makhi watched as she did so, before glancing around their area. She stood, picking the sub up as she went, heading for the shade of a large tree beside the watering hole. It would due for now. When the little one woke, she would try to take her back to her home.
Nodding at her choice, she settled down, curling protectively around Rage to relax, and perhaps take a nap.
