Lilith sat in front of the Hytech Lab computers and lazily surfed the web. She wishfully hoped for Maxwell to find his way into the lab, but he hadn't been around for days.
She had seen Colton briefly, but his stomach overruled and he found his way into the kitchen. She had also seen Isoke and Gyasi pass by. Xin Yue was somewhere. She thought she heard scribbling of some crayons in the distance.
**Sigh** Thursdays can be so boring, she thought to herself.

It could have been the sigh - or, perhaps, the abundant monochrome plummage by a computer - but something caused the tallest of the Hytes to pause en route to the kitchen and peer through the doorway to the computer lab. Gyasi lofted a brow, leaning against the doorframe to observe the bored female for a moment. It seemed like such a waste for the lovely bird to be so confined.
"There are more interesting things to do than wait for something to happen," the giraffe chided Lilith in his quiet yet thinly veiled playful way. Gyasi smiled, crossing his hooves comfortably, deciding on a more amicable approach to conversation. "Find anything worthwhile on there?"

Lilith jumped with a start. She hadn't seen Gyasi come in.
"Not really. There's this cool place called Gaia, but it seems so expensive to play."
She idly clicked on a couple of links then pushed away from the computer.
"I'm bored. What is there to do around here?" She gazed at the handsome long-legged fellow.

Gyasi chuckled a little, not having intended to startled the bird of prey. He listened with a few nods, rubbing his chin thoughtfully at her question. "Plenty," he replied at length, "but it really depends on what you enjoy to do. You can build motorized planes with 'soke, or if you have a soft spot for arts, Xin Yue could use some company coloring and Ginmei is sewing...the best she can."
The giraffe smiled languidly, swiveling his ears. "There's always the video games for a group activity. Personally, I just like to walk outside when the weather is nice. I'm easy to please." A faint grin took the place of his smile, giving a shrug of his long shoulders. "I'm sure we can find an activity special for you, 'lith."

Lilith pondered. She did like the arts, and she liked sewing and she loved driving fast. Walks were always wonderful too.
"Would you like to go for a walk with me, Gyasi? It really is a lovely day out and there won't be too many of these before the summer heat sets in."

Gyasi blinked, mildly surprised. He hadn't quite been expecting the fiesty female to settle for something as mundane (no matter how enjoyable) as a walk. He gave a curt nod, brushing some of his unruly hair from his spectacled eyes before arching his elbow out in an offer for her arm.
"I'd be my distinct honor," he chuckled, give a little cordial bow, "and immense pleasure." He smiled kindly at Lilith, curling his other arm behind his back as he waited to see her reaction.

Lilith hooked arms with Gyasi and grabbed a Silk Parasol on the way out. She had fair skin and she didn't want to burn to a crisp. She breathed in the crisp air and lavished in the sun's rays.
"Alright, where to?"

"Wherever your legs may lead you," Gyasi replied with quiet bemusement. "We have no place to be and can choose any destination, or let it choose us." The giraffe shrugged a little again, patting Lilith's arm. "Did you have some place in mind?"

Lilith ponder for a moment.
"I would loove to see some water. Water is always soothing and easy to fall into a trance watching. Know of any good watering holes, my friend?"
She lazily pulled at her tail feathers and straightened them out as she watching Gyasi muse over a spot.

Outside, the springbok was lazing out on the grass, arms folded under his head. Beside him was his finished airplane that was ready for flying, but he was still leery on if it would work. So he opted to do some cloud gazing, the breeze was cool but not enough to drive people indoors. The sun was high and warm, feeling nice on him as he lazed.

As Lilith walked with Gyasi, she noticed the handsome Springbok, Isoke, sprawled out in the lush grasses in front of them.
"Isoke!" She waved excitedly, "Hello!" She dropped Gyasi's arm and sprinted toward him.

"Chicks." He purred behind Gyasi's abandoned shoulder. "Come and go, come and go."
How a black panther could slip out and approach them unnoticed in an area of lush greenery and bright sunlight was a mystery.

The giraffe smiled as Lilith went after his best friend, content to watch. At least, content until that velvet purr slid over his shoulder. Gyasi's ears swiveled back and his slightly wide eyes shifted over to see the speaker. There was a touch more of his whites showing beneath his glasses than normal, and his nose might have flared in the slightest, but that that was the extent of his outward show of his innate instincts to flee.
"She'll be coming back once she spots you," the younger male replied as he observed the aforementioned 'chick' and Isoke, returning to his calm and peaceful demeanor. "How good to see you out of your room, Maxwell."
A tinge of amusement flickered through his placid smile before he took a step back to stand next to the panther. It was a cordial motion, both allowing himself to speak with Maxwell and giving the older male ample room to continue on to his 'prey' if he chose to do so.

"Perhaps she'll talk to him for a little while," he drawled, flexing his paws. "That would save me the trouble of having to go over and tell Isoke what I just told you."
He watched the breeze sweep Lilith's hair off her shoulders.
"When did you get so tall." He said as a statement of slight displeasure, and ran a single claw down Gyasi's back gently. "I remember when you were small and threatening to choke on balls."
Then his features warped as he smothered his amusement at immature innuendos.

The twins had been working on setting a leaf on fire with a magnifying glass near Isoke when Lilith's calls got their attention. "Hmm, bird lady," Hikaru remarked. "That means Tamaki-senpai will be by soon," replied Kaoru.
Sure enough, Tamaki quickly came fluttering by, drawn to Lilith's presence like a magnet. "Why hello, Mademoiselle," he greeted with a smooth smile as he landed on her shoulder. "Your beauty seems to grow with every passing day.
The twins rolled their eyes at this and went back to what they were working on. When a small smoldering spot began to grow on the leaf, they both exclaimed "Yatta!" in triumph.
Meanwhile, Orenji walked up to Gyasi and Maxwell and lightly prodded both of their legs to gain the attention of the large Hytes. "Konnichi wa!" he greeted cheerfully, craning his neck up at the two. "Genki desu ka?"
