Assuming you had to pick a single thing to fight with, what would you choose. Ignore character race or class. If you had to choose what you wanted to use as a weapon, what would you choose? Keep this D&D era specific....the first lightsaber/pulse-laser rifle comment gets a bite from my mount.

b*****d swords are my personal fav weapon for most of my fighter leaning characters, so probably one of those. i dunno, not really an answerable question?
i'd probably use a lightsaber/pulse-laser rifle combination, to be perfectly honest. rofl

In real Life? I'd probably use a balanced shortsword, there easy to use, light, and quick. What more could I ask for?
In DnD, it'd probably be a Longbow. . . Or maybe a pair of Daggers(If I can have two). . .

in real life: well, I'm a skilled fencer............ the rapier is an easy choice (what kind would be a lot more difficult)
in d&d................. scimitar, comp longbow, or greatsword....
pulse rifles are for chumps!!!!!!!!!! railguns all teh way!!!!!!!!

In real life, I would have to say a longbow or a shortbow (They make no difference to me, I'm skilled with both.) As far as melee weapons in real life, I would have to say the closest thing I've picked up was my friends fencing sword. But there way to much dodging back and forth for me.
In D&D, of course I would have to go back to playing a barbarian/fighter class so I would have to say a greataxe.

A matter a fact I do. I picked it up maybe 6 months ago and just loved the game so I went I bought myself a ton of cards and now I got my older and younger brother to play too. Did you take the quiz that my siggy gives a link to?

Yeah, a while back....I think I was red too.
Locally I was finishing top 4 in the Friday Night Magic tournaments for quite a while, then I got mad when I didn't get a prize one week and stopped playing at events. I know I sound like a little kid lol.
I currently have 4 decks....and a massive collection of older cards (from the last 6 years) and a decent size collection of new stuff. I sold my first collection (Revised, Unlimited, 4th ed., Ice Age...all the way to Weatherlight, including some arabian nights, where the commons are over a dollar each). But yeah if you ever want to bounce ideas off me for magic let me know.
My current decks:
Blue-White Faeries
Green-Blue Infinite Turns
Red Elementals
Black Discard (not sure if this one is gonna be any good)
Recently took apart:
TurboFog
Green-Black Elves
Red Warriors
Red-Black Goblins

Yeah I know the games been around a good long time. But I've never tried playing it till then.
I picked it up at a Scout camp as a Staff (its what we were doing when we were not in the lounge watching movies). My deck that I played with was solid white which won on its first try, but once I started playing other people around the cabins it didn't hold. The finishing straw was this one dude using buring plains on me when I had like 15-20 mana on the field.
Then I rebuild it into a red-white deck which I loved so much I ended up buying it off the guy who let me use his cards. (I still hold it as my main deck although I have a few others, and even though Ive changed in and out a few cards its basically the same deck I bought).

w00t!!!!!! MAGIC!!!!
I play locally, finished as a finalist in a team tournament, and often get pretty high standings in the events.
I've got a black/white life drain deck, which is almost invincible twisted
another black/white rebel deck..... still tweaking
a green/red beatdown that screws up the other person's blocking
and my white samurai/uberbeatdown............ my first deck!!!
I used to have a red/green/blue deck....... part of which was stolen......

hahaha, magic... what a wondrous waste of time. i've got this black deck idea i've been thinking about building for a while now, just have no money. (damn school and car and insurance and... s**t too big for someone my age, dammit!) fairly low base mana with dark rituals and such, bunch of creature destruction, albeit global, cranial extractions, and that one 5/5 flying dragon from kamigawa that makes opponent lose 5 life and you gain it when it leaves play. it's pretty nasty - i've seen a version of it in play, and it's bloody disgusting. almost as annoying as an elf deck, though it's pretty much MADE to beat aggro decks, hehe.
when's this game gettin' started, anyway? pirate

I've never entered any tournaments but I know where a few are held in my area. I never really thought my deck would be any good at it... (Older bros white deck might with the way he plays it but hes way to busy to be able to go playing tournaments and stuff.)
