This was definately a much better episode than last week. The pacing felt right this time around, and I actually felt like writing about it after watching it.

The episode starts with Clark in the barn, grabbing the Key to the cave. He hears a noise, and is then Kryptonite Tasered by many men, and taken away.

After this, we see Clark kept prisoner inside a Kryptonite cage, where the intensity can be raised or lowered to cause pain and/or death. Of course, Lionel is behind it all. And yet again, a Luthor puts their trust in a psychopath authority figure that would rather kill the experiment. Kinda rehashed from former episodes in this regard, but thankfully it plays a very minor role.

Lana and Chloe follow some clues and figure out where Clark is being kept, and know Kara is the only one who could possibly get him out. Chloe takes Kara to the Fortress, where Jor-El restores her memory and powers.

Kara comes to the rescue just as the nutbar authority figure was going to kill Clark, and all is well in Smallville once again.

Mix in some history with the Swann's, Queen's, Teague's, and Luthor's, and we're given something to look forward to as a subplot for the rest of the season I'm sure.

Decent episode, but again nothing special.

The preview on my DVR for next week is "Kara teaches Clark how to fly to give him an advantage in fighting Brainiac."

Its so nice to hear that. Kara was annoying last week. yesss finally spring break episode. arent holiday episodes better than most? i think that anyway.

Lana makes me laugh. "If he does anything to Clark I will kill him." rofl I loved Lionel and Chloe's reactions to that.

I thought it was a good episode. It helped along the story a bit with the whole Veritas thing. It makes it seem like they planned it all from the beginning. But we all know they didn't.

I am so glad Kara has her head back and her powers. Better yet, she remembers that happened in the past couple of weeks too. Sorry Lex, so close. Oooh ohh! But that one girl with the glasses is back. How many does this make it? Maybe four times we have seen her? Please let her be Mercy! How hard would it be for Lex just to say Mercy along with an order?!

Because Patricia had evidence that connected Lionel to the murders. Patricia wanted to trade the evidence of that for the traveler. Once he knows the evidence is in her purse, he knocks her out and takes it. He was using Clark to get the evidence that he murdered the families back.

I rather liked this episode. And from what I've heard, next week should be good as well...I hope. It's gonna be funny to watch Clark learn how to fly, seeing as how he's afraid of heights.

I thought Lionel was the oracle or something that took over Lionel's body. So is it really Lionel?

I want SSBB. sad

Oh. Right. Um, why was Chloe the one to say she loves Clark? Shouldn't that have been Lana's line?

Yeah I have Brawl. It rocks. I'm entering in a tournament next Wednesday. xp And seeing as this isn't the place for this, I made a topic!


Lana has never been in the fortress. We aren't counting the one in Reckoning. And if Lana was there it would been awesome. I wonder how she would react to that.
