Well, we had a great turnout on Sunday! Thanks to everyone for coming! Elders Drake and Simetra and Sister Link seem to be pretty busy lately, so I guess it's up to me to lead these discussions--I'm not sure how good I'll be at it, but I'll try!

So...how's everyone's week been?

Oh, there you are Elder. I hope you don't mind that I went ahead and started the meeting. I was afraid you weren't going to show.

Elder Drake is sick today so he won't be able to make it. We spent way to much time partying it up last night. Or in other words, we were talking into the wee hours of the morning.

I don't know what's up with Sister Link but I'm sure she won't be able to make it either.

I'm glad that you're doing this Sister Lucentas. My brain is kind of on the fritz right now. I can seem to think straight. I'm uber tired. I went to bed like around six in the morning then woke up around noon. I studied for a bit and then tried to go back to bed.

It is really awesome being out here in Utah with Elder Drake.

My mind is putty in your hands Sister Lucentas. Mold it.

Ah, well, I'm glad you're having a good time.

I can't exactly think of a topic, so...what have you been learning during your stay?

While I've been out here I've learned a lot of stuff. Scripture markings, roleplaying, etc etc. Over the past couple of days I've gotten down the old discussions. Sure the new one goes by the spirit but by studying and memorizing the old discussions and then going by the spirit, you will be twice as effective because you actually have a straight train of thought.

On the lighter side of things, I've been kickin it with the Drake family. I've been Brawling with them a lot of the time, or just watching the office. It's not all nose to the grindstone out here. Theys is one cool family.

And just the experience of being out here is something that I wouldn't trade for in the world. I'm really excited to go on a mission now because I want to share with others of what I've learned.

That's great.

Do you have any tips for memorization? I'm not exactly the best at it.

Not really. I suck at it too. I just read it over and over and over and over again until I got it down. And even then it's no guarentee that I have it memorized. I still don't have 2 Nephi 31: 17-21 memorized. Or a lot of other scriptures for that matter.

Lol, okay.

Well...do you have anything you want to discuss?

Umm... how has your week been?

Pretty decent. Got a whole slew of commissions, so I've been chipping away at those. I also went to the Relief Society birthday dinner last night, and it was great. I like helping out with the cooking and serving. (I also like the desserts, hehe.)

Wow. How much of the big bucks are you raking in? How fast does it take you to do each commission? I've started to pick up drawing again so hopefully I'll be posting some deviations soon.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 19, 2008 5:43 pm

Lol, well, to tell the truth I haven't gotten much money yet, but it's a start. Getting PayPal helped. Right now I'm trying to connect it to my bank account so I can use my online funds in real life and vice versa.

It takes me less than a day to finish the average commission. There's usually a waiting time of a few days, though, because there are other commissions and ongoing projects I need to work on too.

That's neat, can't wait to see your stuff.

You know what? You seem like you're doing a lot better than before. Anything new? A boyfriend perhaps?
