Well, temper's flared up once again at Bristol. Specifically, Dale Jarrett's.
For those of you who didn't see the race, Ryan Newman got into the back of Jarrett and he hit the wall, which was an accident. Later in the race, Jarrett went after Newman, retaliated by hitting Newman's car, sending them both spinning. Kevin Harvick got caught up in the crash and suffered massive damage to his car.
In my opinion, this was a cheap shot by Jarrett. Sure, Ryan's car bumped into Jarrett's, but that's just typical racing at Bristol, it happens almost every race there because there is so little room. Jarrett's actions were completely uncalled for, and not only did he wreck himself and Ryan, but also Kevin Harvick, who is trying to get into the top 10 for the Chase.
Your thoughts on the race?

simply put: Dale Jarrett wrecked his own chances at the Chase. Now Dale Jarrett is the only one who can fix that.

Whether or not Ryan's tap was intentional or not- I don't know. I know Ryan said it was an accident, but of course he wouldn't admit to doing it on purpose. That being said, the actions taken by Jarrett were completely irresponsible and unnecessary. Jarrett has been around long enough to know you just don't do things like that, especially at Bristol where things are already "tight". I will point out that it IS Bristol afterall, and temper's always flare at Bristol.... still, there was no need for Jarrett's actions, IMO.

Kurokage Sanada That was the first time i've ever seen someone wreck someone so obviously ever in a race, that was definetly interesting You obviously didn't watch (I believe it was Pocono) last year when Kenseth and Harvick repeatedly kept knocking each other off the track. Now THAT was blatent wrecking.

If you think that's an insult, than you need to find a dictionary and look up the correct meaning of the word. And don't be so defensive next time. A simple "Yes, I did see that race." Would have been sufficient. Whether or not the "wrecking" happens under green or caution, it's still wrecking an opponent and it's against NASCAR rules. The fact that the incident between Harvick and Kenseth happend under caution, IMO, just proves how blatant it was. Under green flag conditions, Rubbin's Racin', s**t happens.

Um, let's think: If I told you to take a look at the replay, and watch Dale Jarrett's right front tire... would you believe me if it looks like it was losing air pressure when the 2nd tie-up happened? OMG Dale had a tire go down!
Jimmy Spencer and Johnny Benson agreed (and some discussion with the panel) that Dale had a low right front when the 2nd spinout happened. Sucks that Harvick got in that mess though.

I'm off to have a look at the replay right now.
