A sister clutching each hand, Nahuel made his way to the playground. He had never had easter before, though he remembered a halloween party once where he had dressed up as Tarzan, and it seemed like roughly the same concept - free candy.

Currently, the sisters were endeavoring to rip the jaguar boy in two, though. Ranza , her feathers askew, was racing forward despite the grip he had on her wrist, and shy Orli was hanging back, waiting to see what was going on before getting tangled up in it. As a result, the lanky child was doubled over trying to stretch as far as he possibly could.

"Wanna! Find! Treasure!" whined Ranza as she barreled ahead onto the playground.

"Ranza! Slow down! You're gonna rip my arm off!" cried Nahuel, struggling to keep up without dragging Orli along the grass.

"Too fast!" protested the star child, who was struggling to keep up with both of them.

"Treasure!" shouted Ranza. "Where?" She came to an abrupt halt and surveyed the playground. "Orie, help look," she demanded, taking her sister by the hand.

"Hey, slow down," Nahuel told both toddlers. "Let's find out the rules first, kay? If we don't follow the rules we'll be villains."

Ranza looked about to protest but thought better of it and nodded resolutely, and Orli followed suit. Nahuel maneuvered both girls over to the adult who appeared to be in charge.

"Hi! We're here for the easter egg hunt!" he announced.

"Yay! Easser egg hunt!" Nataya said, giggling happily as she skipped a few feet ahead of her mother. "Nat-yah gonna gets an egg an hatch it!" After all, Uncle Matthias said that duckies and chickies came from eggs, and she wanted a duckie or chickie!

"Honey, I don't think these are those kind of eggs." Anastasia said, smiling slightly as she watched her little one, glad to see her so happy. "These just look like eggs; they'll have nice little surprises in them." She readjusted her grip on her daughter's large fruit; the little fae had insisted on bringing it so it could watch.

"Y'mean, no chickie or duckie for Nat-yah?" the little one asked, blinking as she looked back at her parental. After a moment, a smile reappeared on her face. "Okies; s'prises good, too!" she said, nodding her head once. The little girl looked at some of the kids already there for the "Easser" Egg Hunt as they reached the playground, recognizing two of them....even if they had gotten bigger.

"Yup! Surprises are good, too." Stasia said, smiling as she reached forward to gently ruffle her child's hair. She then looked up, smiling a little at the others at the playground. "This is where the Easter Egg Hunt is, correct?" Stasia asked, walking towards them. After all, she had to make sure this was the right place; Matthias wasn't always the best at giving directions.

Nataya walked infront of her mother, her smile becoming brighter. "Hi!" she said cheerfully, waving enthusiastically at everyone.

"Alright!" Shade said as he realized that they had a decent little crowd of kids. "There's baskets for everyone, Antony here will be handing them out, and there's plenty of eggs, as well, all over the playground. Once you fill up your basket you can wait for the others on the blacktop or go play on the playground, okay?"

Antony started handing out the pile of cheap plastic baskets, wondering just why he kept getting dragged into these things all the time, yet again.

Chris took his basket, not saying a word about the fact that it was pink. He had always liked pink, if you asked him. "So we can only get as many eggs as it takes to fill this?" he asked.

"That's right," Shade said. "Or your parents would kill me for giving out way too much sugar."

"Okay," Chris said.

"Once you have your basket, feel free to go search for eggs!" Shade called to them all.

"Oh, it looks like things have started," Ze'zee said as they got near enough to hear the rules. At the moment, she was being dragged behind Aurora was was very eager to join her friends at this game. Both mother and daughter had only heard of this. Ze grew up on a different planet, after all.

"Mama! Hurry!" Rory urged, trying to go faster.

"Well, go on, don't wait for me," she laughed, letting her girl's hand go. "I'll be here watching.

Rory grinned at her, then went for where she saw Chris. There was another new girl around too. She wanted to meet! And Nataya was here too!

"Well most eggs hatch into chicks," Antony said. "But these are filled with candy, instead. They tend to make less of a mess on the carpet." He said that with a perfectly serious look on his face, even though Shade had to look away to keep from laughing.

Christian noticed the little blue and sparkly haired girl heading for him and obediently sat down so he didn't look quite so big, his pink basket hanging from one huge finger. "Hello," he said politely, in those two voices of his. "It's a pretty day, don't you think?"

Then he glanced up, grinning at the sight of Rory and waving her over.

"Yes," he agreed with another, brighter smile. "Les go look at swings?" Carlisle waved one hand in the general direction of the swingset. "Is close, and small." Besides, other kids were already looking at the other places. He didn't want to compete, after all. He just wanted to get a couple eggs and play. Hefting his pastel pink bastek, he asked, "Okay?"

Rory grinned at her best friend before diverting to where Antony stood to get herself a basket too. She picked up a bright green basket with a shy little hello to Antony before running away to someone she knew. Even if Chris was with a new friend, at least it was someone she knew!

Once up to the two, she smile at the girl with the sparkly hair. "Hi, I Rory!" she greeted the one she didn't know. "We all hunting eggs together?" She was up to that idea. It was fun finding things with others, after all.
