There have been a few I've enjoyed like the LotR trilogy. The rest I couldn't name to save my life/

eh, I'd rather keep books away from movies....in my opinion, the book is better.

I heard Twilight is gonna be a movie.A friend of mine wants the movie but not the actor who'll play that lead.She's pretty pissed about it.

I rather see Hollywood develop some original movies for a change, I've been seeing way too many book based movies around lately, plus I rather them not screw up a good book as well, the Lord of the Rings was an exception.

A friend got me reading Inkheart and now InkSpell. They're making a movie of the first one, but I'm not really conviced it'll be very good. The one they made of The Thief Lord by the same author sucked horribly. I havn't even read the book yet and the movie still sucked horribly.

Well, I've read the Edge Chronicles and I thought it could be turned into a great movie. Easy to make with some creativity.

It's the most awesomest book I've ever read!

It's by Edwin A. Abbott and it's about a square.
He lives in a 2-D world, of course, but learns about other dimensions from a sphere. The he learns about Spaceland, Flatland, Lineland and even Pointland!

I'm with you. Hollywood has become really lazy in not coming up with a truly good movie that wasn't a book first or turned into a trilogy. Don't get me wrong. Pirates of the Carribean, and LotR, and the Matrix were all good ones, oh, and Star Wars. ^^;;

But Hollywood needs to get off their laurels and stop expanding on the ideas of writers and make some thing that is good for once that came from their brains instead of someone else's talent.

Again, don't get me wrong, I love Harry Potter and The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe, but still it would be nice to see something original that wasn't already written as a book or a comic...

Wow..where the heck did this come from...??
