The large male stood by the rivers edge he had just gotten out of the water and his long wave of hair was straight for once. With his curls out of his long locks they grazed the ground. He smiled softly as water beads fell from his jaw line and from his nose. The sun beat down and it felt good. This was one of the best days of spring he could have imagined. He went from the shades of the trees and into the son as he layed down he fanned out his tail so it would take less time for it to dry. Though the thickness of his tail could never match is mane...
He sighed softly, finally realizing he had been alone for qute some time. He had left the teepee this morning and still there wasn't a soul around. For a social butterfly it was like torture for him.
He whickered out as his ears perked forward to see if anyone had came within distance yet.

Spring, Spring, Spring!
With the snow now melted away and the cold winter days only a brief memory, the days were getting mildly warmer while it seems that the infestation of bright, vibrant colors were now dotting the lands with a significant sign that it was spring time! Already the birds seemed to be conducting a chorus accompanied by the humming of honey bees and other orchestra members which only made a beat rise into the head of the blindingly brilliant mare. She could hear it just as clearly as anything and even as her wings swept thorugh the skies with ease in a uncoordinated and rather sporactic flight pattern filled with turns, sudden changes of directions and aerial antics one could quite possibley believe without shadow of a doubt that the poor girl was either a bit under the weather with a loss of her mind or perhaps quite skilled- but it seemed that the 'skilled' portion was something that was a bit too farfetched.
As the sun seemed to glisten and dance upon the top of the gentle river, that lustorous shine and brilliant light seemed to catch her eye. Oh she was quite a strange one- easily lured by all things and especially objects that seemed pleasing to the aesthetic eye or the senses. Being one which seemed to be a bit confusing, Jaydin most often seemed to forget basic manners and do thigns that would be rather unexpected and quite alarming but what was the use of having to live if you couldn't have fun?
As temptation seemed to continue to draw her onwards, the mare gave a thrust of her wings and bombarded downwards towards the river. "ITSSOSHINY!" Jaydin squealed, her body positioning itself to appear to lean forwards within the air with her hooves outwards moments before expected and rather sudden impact.
With momentum and speed as Jaydin's hooves grazed across, the mare shifted her weight upwards on her hooves as a spray of water seemed to explode out from under her very hooves. Much like a mini wave seemed to plow onwards before her until the force of momentum was lost and, thus, the mare seemed to sink into the water. She remained under for severa momtents which drug on longer as the disturbed wakes on the surface seemed to settle along with bubbles that rose upwards and broke the surface. How long was a mare suppose to remain under the water? It seemed strange- very, very, strange.
But being a mare whose memory wasn't quite wholesome or in mint condition, Jaydin seemed to forget- oh, a few things. And right now swimming seemed to be one of them.
A sudden splash of hooves upwards and through the surface led to a face plastered with a mess of braids and mane in her face as wings furled outwards and thrashed wildly. Jaydin gasped, trying to stay a float as she willed her body to continue to bob up and down above the water rather than being pulled under. The mare whined, shaking her head as she cried.
"HALP IMMA BEING DRAGGED AWAAAAAY!" She shrieked. "HALP I can't swim, I dun remember!"
Of course that probably wasn't the best thing to say that she didn't remember 'how' but it was the sense of panic that seemed to constrict her and make her become more frantic and rather less intelligent in the heat of sheer danger. While her life was being treatened, it seemed oblivious that instead of letting her body float all she really needed to do was to simply stand up and let her hooves touch the ground but who could ever come across that logic when the thought of drowning would cause the individual to kick and hollar to stay afloat?

Adonis was taking his turn to admire the vegetation and flowers that surrounded him. His eyes followed where the wind carried to sweep up the hollowed grass that didn't survive the winter's bitter weather. He had heard quite a bit of noise come about when it seemed someone was enjoying seeing the sight of an river that was no longer crystalized over with ice.
His brow rose as he arched his neck in the direction of a rather large splash. He smiled softly as he returned to his gazing at the wondors of nature.
Before he could get too in tune to where he was once before he heard a plea from the river. His ears flared forward, his eyes narrowed as he got to his cloven hooves as fast as he could. The need to get to the river was more painful than helpful. The river did pose a danger for those who did not appreciate it's depths. You had to be pretty far down to get in her depths, however.
He raced through the brush, heart pounding and a bead of sweat falling from his brow. Hooves clashed with the sand at the banks. Though confusion was swept over him as he realized that it was a full grown mare. He made an elegant leap into the waters and reached her. He pushed her gently back to the banks where she could feel the rocks on the bed of the river would knock against her hooves. She was making it much more harder than it was. Indeed the river was deep but the waterline only grazed his chest to where she was.
He blinked curiously at her, she was of most unique colors...this he had noticed first. He watched to see if she still struggled getting to her feet.
"Are you alright, m'lady?" he asked with most sincerity.
He was in the process of drying off and now after this complication, he would have to start all over. He sighed gently to himself. It'd be a miracle if he'd be completely dry by nightfall.
His eyes never left the mare. He wouldn't leave her feeling threatened nor stranded so he stayed by her side.

Skewed mentality seemed to kick in a deranged survival mode as she thrashed her wings about and tried to rise above the river but it seemed that such a plan was hindered as her mane was plastered into her face and left her vulnerable, oblivious and unsuccessful. Her legs kicked and splashed in all directions, hooves searching to sink into the rivers silt or banks so that she could perhaps drag herself out but, as luck would have it, it was just so dark and so hard to move in the right direction! She whined to herself, lip quivering ouwards as she tried to lure anyone to her rescue.
"Haaaalp! Haalp!" She yipped, shrieking as she intook a gasp of air before her body seemed to be pulled under by the invisible currents. Her nostrils snorted a blast of air as she broke through the surface once again. "SOMEBODY SAAAAVE ME!"
It certainly was a tiring battle! Her scattered and unconcious mind to the actuality of her situation had already fathomed that the depths of the river had to be near thirty feet and three quarters deep and while trying to stay afloat and remember to keep her head above the water was zapping her energy, the mare remained unaware of an unfamiliar scent seeming to almost blow past her upon a sudden breeze. But it seemed rather logical that one certainly couldn't concern themselves with the sudden scent of another nearby when they were battling for their very life, right?
Along with a perpetual darkness clouding over her eyes, Jaydin's maw seemed to hang ajar slightly as she gasped- slowly stopping her struggle. "Oh....oh! I must be dead- is this what its like to be dead?" It was starting to make sense, wasn't it? Oh yes! Somehow in her twisted and unstable mind it was making perfect sense. These strange sensations, this bleak darkness and with silence seeming to drown out noise itself ws rather strange yet pleasant. It was if at that moment her very senses began to sharpen; she could hear the drops of water seep from off of her body and fall into the river with such an audible and loud plunge, the wind whispering in the trees and even the sound of hooves clashing against the sand of the banks of the ri-
Hooves?
Jaydin's posture stiffened as she heard the sounds of hooves sift against the gritty sands of the rivers banks which seemed followed rather suddenly by a splash; the waters creating new wakes as they rolled and caressed softly against her hide. Fear seemed to cause her body to begin to begin to sink deeper into the unknown depths until she felt something press against her, her ears suddely perking upwards as she swayed her head in all directions trying to view whatever was touching her.
She breathed short breaths, whimpering as she felt her body be directed by another until she could feel the rive rocks knock against and under her hoof. Though the sensation was something that gave her the creeps, it was a welcomed relief to be sure! With a slow motion, Jaydin began to put weight upon her legs- steadying them as she stood upwards. She ruffled her wings against her body, still swaying her head in hoping to free herself from the darkness which made it quite difficult to see.
The presence of a strange voice caused the young mare to stand upright, head canted ever so slighty as she clopped her right, forehoof upon one of the rocks.
"Ma'lady? Oh no- Uhm. No Ma';ady heeeeere. I'm Jaaaaaydin!" She piped up, giving a lopsided grin as she unfurled her wings slightly. Delicately and much like fingers, the mare swept away the assortment of bangs that plstered her face and shook her head, whisking away the water from her locks so that soon they would be able to come into that beloved formation and bring back the 'hawk. As her wings withdrew, the rather colorful mare fluttered her eyes open to stare upwards towards the-
Ooooh?
A stallion!
She giggled softly, stepping forward as she broke through all sense of boundaries and comfort zones as she pressed her nose against his.
"Halloooooo!"

He watched as she struggled for a few moments and then got to her feet. She was perhaps the most colorful thing he had ever seen, well besides Kila. But, she had lost the color in her eyes. This mare, seemed to have all the life in the world. His ears flicked forward as he watched her clean herself off and get herself back together. He let a soft smile slip across his maw as he watched her with the tilt of his head.
His shoulders stiffened as he watched her wings ready her mane, it was short like Kila as well. He was in awe of her colors, he still couldn't seem to get over it. That and the color of her eyes. His own eyes had been considered unique pink pupils surrounded by sky blue. He whipped his bangs from his eyes.
He couldn't help but laugh as she said she wasn't 'M'lady', it was cute. Oblivious and innocent he had guessed. "My apologizes Jaydin, m'lady is just a term I was taught as a young colt to address the fine and proper ladies...not to mention beautiful he added."
His brow quirked as he felt the warmth of her nose upon his. He blinked and smiled charmed. He blew on her nose softly in greeting. "Hello," he replied softly in his silken tones.
"I'm Adonis." he added.
She had gotten his attention now..

As their noses still continued to be pressed together, Jaydin seemed to be in awe slightly. The cogs of her mind were slowly turning but her seemed to stare deep into his with a spark of curiosity and a train of mind that could easily sway and deviate into another direction just like the fickle breeze of the wind. Her nostrils seeemed to widen slightly, head slowly falling to the right as her muzzle seemed to brush and slide across his until her head tilted fully to the right and those rather strange, unquite orbs of bluest-blue continued to stare at him. Jaydin managed to smile as another side of her seemed to slide into play- it was like a plethora of personalities seemed crammed into one body; rather strange to be sure but at the same time it seemed to make things a bit more complicated and confusing!
"Awww- it's jus' fiiiiiine," she reassured. "M'lady is strange, veryveryvery strange. It's somethin' I dun' quite unda'stan with all o' dat slaaaaaang dat' stallions use. I'd say your tryin' ta sweep me offa' ma' hooves, mmhhm." For a moment she gave him a questioning look, brows knitting slightly as she tilted her head back into place as she shifted her wings against her body.
She couldn't help but stare at him, looking at him from his head and down to his hooves, up and down, several times. She smiled to herself almost as if greeting him again with another persona breaking the ice with the lovely stallion.
"Daaaaayum, why hellooooo. Are yo' sure yo' name is Adonis because I could have sworn you said your name was 'Heaven'," she winked.
The colorful and rather bizzare mare seemed to slowly begin to walk around him, staring at him continuously as she began to close the distance between him. Walking around him once agian, her body seemed to caress and brush up against his, her side lightly bumping into his and began rounding up to his side. Smoothly, she whised her muzzle against his neck, nickering softly as she lightly tugged at his mane. He seemed quite large in stature, thick with an elegant locks and curls of a deep sky blue and a bubblegum pink. Yet even his eyes, much like her own, seemed so striking with that pink pupil which seemed to lure her yet again to face him. He was quite the looker and Jaydin herself was quite a sucker for bright colors and thick manes and tails. But then again she often seemed to send so many mixed signals that often poor males seemed to become confused if she really did mean what she said.
Adonis seemed like one of those 'pretty boys' that seemed to good to be true or at least try to sweep mare off their feet. She wasn't quite use to such a thing yet there was a part of her that was curiuos in wanting to decipher the males 'breaking point'.
Was he just trying to butter her up or was this fo' real?
Her lips pursed slightly for a moment before she shook her head, attempting to free the water from out of her mane so its spiky and typical formation could be restored rather than her face becoming matted with mane. It all but took several moments for her mane to slowly perk back upwards almost looking as if it was alive and rising upwards as if being summoned up to rise from the dead. Well perhaps not the dead as that seemed a bit of a stretch but her mane certianly was her prized possession; the style itself was a trait that she belived was inherited from her own father.
"Soooooo tell me, Adonis- what brings you all the way out here? Are you lookin' fo' love in the right places or the wrong places. Is looooove all you need? Or are you waiting for the heartbreak or to break hearts? Come now- if you're one of those playa's I won't rule you out that quick. You'll still get a fair shot. Maybe," she mused. "Stallions don' talk so sweetly unless they're lookin' for somethin' or for a little afternoon delight, mmhhhmmm."
Jaydin nodded her head as her hoof clopping upon the ground against some rocks, almost making a snapping or a clicking sound to emphasize and bring a point up to her words. She had seen it before; she wasn't quite a fool either- well, sometimes she was but the male just so happened to catch her on a day where her mind was more on a rather calm and serious streak moreso than other days which was both a fortune and a curse seeing as she was a bit harder to crack. Her tongue clicked against the roof of her mouth as she again pushed her muzzle against his.
"You think your sooooooo sly, hm?"

"Not sly Jaydin. Why would I say a female was beautiful if they are not so? I would not decieve you." his eyes watched as she looked him over. He couldn't help him smile, "I'm glad you like what you see." he grinned.
"I'm positive my name is Adonis, Jaydin." he inhaled deeply as she seemed to circle him like a shark and he was her prey. He flicked his tail behind him. As she came to his side he glided his tail up her flank, knowing where she was at every moment. He knew his surroundings all to well. He could feel his chest thud. He watched her as she messed with his mane and he nipped back gently. His eyes as flirtatious and charming as ever. He nosed her cheek softly as he gazed into her eyes, “What’s wrong with sweeping you off of your feet?” he grinned softly.
"I have looked in all of the wrong places, it seems. Perhaps I found the right one." his eyes looked to her honestly as his tongue spoke of truth. Droplets of water dropped from his dark face, as he continued to look to her. His brow rose, waiting for her response.
"Not sly at all love."

She couldn't help but click her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she eyed him, looking at him up and down as the mare arched a brow. Though she was certainly off of her rocker and far from a point of sanity, the mare had come across these types of stallion before; oh yes- the ones that knew how to play it cool and ease their words much like a lifelong 'Jack of all trades' that knew their way around any lady. Jaydin swayed her head with a slight jerk as her faux-hawk seemed to sway back and ripple with a small bristling like motion while a front hoof seemed to stomp on the ground.
"Deeecieve me? Mhhmm, ya' seem like a snake righ' 'bout now. I've yet ta' see if ya' hidin' any fangs o' dagga's b'hind 'dat smile o' yo's."
The mare couldn't help but chuckle, somewhat amused while the ever present hint of a laugh that seemed surreal and slightly chilling emitted from out of her maw with a sweet yet strange air to it. "Boooooys need to be careful and look before they leap," Jaydin mused, logic seemed to arise from the brightly adorned wind as she ruffled her feathered wings agaisnt her back. Like the fickle wind itself her overall persona and tone seemed to change even quicker than a blink of an eye or the sudden shift of the winds and it seemed as if a seriousness was overcoming her. "I don' even think ya' know who exactly ya' dealin' wid'. Ya' migh' be tryin' ta' sweep a beaaautiful mare off o' her hooves but ya migh' get a bit more than ya bargined for." She felt his nose brush against her cheeks which caused a soft giggle to rise from out of her, the mare looking aside towards him as she winked.
"Or perhaps you're looking for a challenge..." she whispered.
Jaydin was finding this rather entertaining! Adonis was quite strange and a figure that she had never run into nor had she ever happened to run into another stallion with his crafted ways of trying to lure her in. The cogs of her mind seemed to turn and turn, leaving the mare with few ideas on what to make of it all. Even as he talked she still found herself looking at the dancing trails of light upon the river or thinking of the most bizzare and abstract things such as funny looking rabbits who seemed to become round, floating high into the air and suddenly exploding!
Yes- there were certainly the most strange and absurd collection of thoughts within the confined mind of the mare. She had even convinced herself that one day she would test them and see if they were real!
One could be certain that the entire population of rabbits would simply vanish within a matter of days.
And that would be tragic.
Focus, focus, Jaydin! Snapping her head back towards him as it seemed he still was babbling on, the mare tilted her head to the side and unfurled her wings slightly. "Right one? Oooooh-" her mind was still drawing a blank, staring at the stallion with wide eyes and shifting the weight from her hooves in an unsettled manner. "What right one?"
Jaydin shook her head as her brows furrowed.
"....I don't get it."

He arched his brow as she clicked her tongue at him, his multicolored eyes watched her. Indeed she was different, but it left him curious and when Adonis was curious he had to ease that curiosity. He flipped his bangs from his face as he gazed to her, not intense just softly. His ears flicked forward as he listened to her start off again, in a different tone than the last. She seemed very flamboyant on her moods and personality. He hadn’t quite caught on to them yet, and he wondered if he ever would. Though that would mean he’d have to get to know her, and that in itself would take more than one meeting. He somehow doubted she would want to meet again.
“I would never do such a thing.” He smiled, “See, no fangs…” he smirked softly. “And I assure you they don’t grow at night either.”
“Indeed boys do need to be careful before they take leaps, baby steps never worked out for me and I’m no longer a boy either.” His tail flicked behind him “And who am I dealing with besides the Jaydin I helped in the river?” He watched her more solemnly, “I don’t usually sweep mares off there feet, miss.” He couldn’t help but smiled as she giggled and winked at him. He couldn’t tell if she was interested in him or if she was playing with him. It was getting harder and harder to tell. Her quick change from playful, to flirtatious to serious made his mind spin just as hers.
“Challenges can always prove interesting,” he shrugged. “I’m not sure what exactly what I’m looking for anymore.”
“You weren’t listening to half the things I said were you?” he questioned the bright, bouncy female.
He shifted his weight between it, “Don’t worry about it, I was answering your question. It really wasn’t of much importance.” He added softly.
