uh my story?

The small girl sat on the table swinging her legs back and forth. She was about eight, though there was something...different about her. Her long hair was a shimmering silver and her eyes a light green. She was starring at the grandfather clock at the other end of the bar, waiting for midnight.
Though this place was called a bar it wasn’t the type of place to have drunks and fights. Mostly it was just the place all the villagers came after work to rest. Everyone was in good cheer this night because the crops had been so good this year.
As a group passed the young girl no one seemed to notice her, though her white nightgown and her hair should have been surprising to see. Everyone in this town had dark hair and dark eyes.
As the child felt someone watching her she turned her head toward the entrance into the cabin. Standing there was a skinny old man. He wore black clothes with a black cape. The cape was fastened in the front with a circular symbol that had a blue stoned border and a gold leaf in the middle. The most noticeable thing about him however were his silver eyes.
As the girl saw him she smiled, a small bit of happiness covering the deep sadness in her eyes. In response the old man stepped into the cabin walking over to her. He easily avoided touching anyone and no one seemed to notice his passing. As he got the girl he stood next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you ready?"

The child nodded as the clock struck midnight, in the distance the Church's bells sounded. As the child jumped off the table a silence seemed to spread through the bar. Everyone’s eyes were on the strange girl and her companion. The good cheer seemed to disappear though if you asked someone they wouldn't quite be able to explain why. It was like seeing these people and the sadness in their eyes and bodies made the cheer slip away.

Suddenly a strong voice called from the back of the bar.

"Who are you? And what do you want?"

It was obvious the villagers were not used to strangers.
The old man answered the question as the small girl stood silent.

"My name is Enrith and the child is Aria. We come with a...story and a warning."

Most of the people relaxed at the mention of a story and the second reason seemed to pass unnoticed.
"But first we must destroy which was not meant to be." He looked at the small child and she looked up. Some people gasped, as her eyes were now a reddish color. Not so they looked evil, just...odd. She looked around the room and pointed to a middle aged farmer. The old man sighed.

"Darkness be seen!" he muttered his silver eyes piercing through the man. Suddenly the man gave a shriek that was not human. It's screams grew louder as it's form started to change.
Standing before everyone was a dark creature. Its blood red eyes glared at Enrith and the child. Its lips drew back to a horrible set of teeth. Its body was standing on two legs and was midnight black. It had leathery wings and you could see all its bones. The legs were bent and it’s shrieked sending a ball of dark energy toward the two strangers.

The small girl held out a hand and the attack disappeared.

"Darkness be gone never to return!" she said softly. With one last shriek flames appeared around the creature as it disappeared.

The villagers starred in shock as where the creature had been.

"And so the darkness returns." The villagers turned at the sound of their leader. The old woman was standing in the doorway looking at Enrith and Aria.

“Leader Rose . . .” the same man that called out before spoke again and all the villagers looked surprised.
Enrith stood for a moment looking at the woman for a second. She was old probably about seventy; her hair was long and white. Wrinkles lined her face but she had cheerful eyes and a kind demeanor. For her age she was surprisingly healthy looking. However these weren’t the things Enrith noticed. He noticed the symbol on her necklace . . . identical to his clasp.
A brief look of surprise flashed across his face before he bowed. The villagers hastily followed snapping out of there shock.
The old woman waved a hand in dismissal to the villagers, they stood still surprised to see her out of her own house.
"They are strangers! They bring sorcery and lies to our village!"
Rose glarred at the speaker her eyes filled with warning. Then she spoke her voice firm, containing no hint of doubt.
"So, child, Enrith what brings you here?" Enrith nodded at his name as the twelth bell of midnight rang through the air. It seemed to linger before fading. The villagers looked surprised not hearing the previous rings. Suddenly Aria became very pale as she collapsed her small body shaking. A worried exspression came into his eyes as her knelt next the girl holding her in his arms. The shaking stopped as her eyes changed one agian to bright green. They seemed knowing beyond her years.
She walked to Rose her small body easily slipping through the villagers. She came to stand in front of Rose and looked up at her. Her voices was quite as she spoke a slight wavering indicated her pain.
" I come with a story, a warning . . . in need of help." Rose slowly knelt to eye level with the girl and nodded. "We will listen."
The child sat abruptly slight trenors rocking her small frame. "Come sit and listen to long ago past and the near future." Her voice was like music enchanting her audience. They all turned toward her and sat, be on chairs, tables, or the ground. Enrith came to sit beside the girl as Rose did the same.

Her voice rang out, clear though soft. It held the audience like magic.

“A darkness rises hidden away
Our helpless cries as lives are lost
A prophecy seeks to find the one to save us
A bright light of power comes
Destroying his life to give us ours
We live on his soul still here

Bit by bit we forget what once was
Making it as myth and legend
But it rises again, a different source
A new prophecy

But we are weak, unprepared
This time a girl to save us
She will fight if she chooses
If not so be it
Destruction shall scrieve across the land
Envelop and destroy it
As once happened long ago

Then we were saved
Now we pray
Be prepared
Don’t back down
Fight for your land
Your People, Your friends, Your Family
We mustn’t fall
You must believe
You must aid her in her quest
For if she goes alone
The past will repeat its greatest tragedy.”

As the last word rung through the air it was meted with utter silence. Then Rose nodded her face grave. “What is you will be needing?” Enrith replied his voice quiet, “A place to stay till the time comes.” Aria slumped to the ground her breath slow in the rhythm of sleep. “ And so you shall have it.”

I really like that. I'd really like to read more. It looks really good in 3rd person, so...this is just me my view, but keep it the way it is.

about 19, maybe. By the story she was wise when she was young soo if you make her to old it might be to much.
