I'm curious: what time does (or did or will, I'm not really picky on the tenses) your high school start? I'm sort of wondering how ridiculous my district's specifications are.
Mine starts at 7.10 in the morning. No, that's not a typo. Ten after seven. It's insane. When my first-period class starts, it's still dark outside. Directly before the time changed this fall, along with the past couple of weeks, it's still been dark when second-period Calc starts as well.
However. We're finished by 2.20 in the afternoon. Which is rather nice. Lots of time to do homework. Or sleep. I rather like the sleep bit, actually.
I'd still rather start and end later. The darkness makes biking to school not an option save for the first and last few weeks in the school year, plus that bit right after the fall time change when the sun's coming up by 6.30.

My school starts at 7:35 and ends at 2:05. blaugh

Krego-sama My high school last year's school started at 7:30, but I was in Jazz Band and had to show up an hour early most days. This year it starts at 9:00. wtf?

8:45 to 3:15. They're trying to change it to 8:30 but too many people are complaining.

zero period starts at 7
mondays start at 8
every other day 8:30
sixth period ends at 2:38
seventh at 3:38
how does your high school schedule go?
at my school tuesdays and thursday are odd classes
wednesday and friday are even
mondays we have all the classes

We're on a seven-period day. Meaning seven periods, every day, plus advisory. With a 7-minute passing period. Which really sucks, seeing how my school is massive (has to be, to house 3,500 students).
We basically go to our first four classes normally.
Fifth period is the weird one. There are four lunch periods to accommodate all the people, each lunch period lasting a half hour. They're lettered A, B, C, and D. If you have A lunch, D is set aside as advisory. If you have B lunch, A is advisory. If you have C lunch, D is advisory. If you have D lunch, C is advisory. That way no classes are split in half by lunch.
After that, we go to sixth and seventh periods normally, and then go home.
I have A lunch, so D advisory, which I use to go to the computer science classroom and play Starcraft.

We have 4 class periods a day. 4 classes one day, different 4 classes the next. I think we get 6 or 7 minutes in between each class. Each class lasts an hour and a half, with 35 (I think) minute lunch. And we have 2 lunches which go from 10:30 - 11:05 and 12 - 12:35.

I have the same classes everyday. only four.
:]
art, web design, retail managmetn and japanese.
super easy...
i nev er had to swotch classes, except for in 9th grade and that was pe and key stone.

Krego-sama My high school started at 7:30, but I was in Jazz Band and had to show up an hour early most days. same here, except I was a color guard for marching band I was always at school by around 6 anyways because my mom works at the hospital and would drop me off before work. Now school starts when I want it to. xd xp When you pick your own schedule, it's soooo much nicer. I don't have classes before 11am this coming semester. cool wink
