The field was extremely vast, stretching out on all sides far across the flatlands, on one side meeting the great Hreidmar Forest, and the shores of the Norna Sea on the other. Apollo sighed pleasantly, rolling around in the flowers, while his sister rolled her eyes and gazed at the forest out in the distance. Spring was definitely in the air... the sun was beating down, warm and friendly, and Apollo basked in its rays like a gleeful child. Artemis bounded over and tackled her brother, but he was too quick for her. Apollo jumped to the side and tackled her to the ground instead. He'd always been able to see her coming, even with the most carefully planned attacks....
"Hey! No fair!" she laughed, standing up and brushing a flower out of her hair. Apollo smirked, starting to run down to the shore.
"Catch me if you can!" he yelled out behind him, and Artemis picked up speed. Oh, he was going to get it now... but she saw something out of the corner of her eye... something huge, black, and coming at her with alarming speed...
"Reno!" she cried out, watching the Fafner as he skidded to a stop, flashing her a grin.
"Hey, Artemis" he said, looking around and waving to Apollo as he turned, hearing voices behind him.
"What are you-"
"...doing here?" Artemis finished for him.
"Eh... not much, really. It's getting rather boring back home" he said. Looking around, Reno tried to see if any other Fafner were walking about, but it was impossible to find anything among all these flowers...

Riley gave a slight sigh, despite the fact she had just been rejected by Kaye (without even being seen) she was going to do what she knew best, harvesting herbs for healing later. Not that she didn't trust harvesters, it's just that she liked picking specific herbs by herself. After a certain amount of time,(and picked flowers) she began to notice several other fafners. She recognized her cousin, Reno and two others. She didn't know their names, but she soon would!

As a gentle breeze brushed past her, Zephyr skipped along side her long time friend, Wesley. Today, he promised to take her to Otr Fields so she could bask in the aroma of the newly blossomed flowers. Lately, Zephyr has been amazingly fragile due to the recent death of her father. Along with her mental condition of a bi-polar disorder, it seems that Zephyr is never given a break, causing her depression to stack up higher and higher. Smiling at seeing an ecstatic Zephyr, Wesley decided to make her even more giddy by telling her, "Well Zeph, it looks like we're here!" Not far from the valley of flowers, four other fafners could be seen as well. Curious to know who they were, Wesley sped up leaving Zephyr behind. However, to keep Zephyr appeased, he yell back, "Hurry up Zeph! Don't you want to find a nice place to sit?" Since he knew Zephyr for a long time, she knew she would reach a state of neglection if he just ran off without a word. Not only that, she would stomp off into a hissy fit. Trying to comprehend what Wesley was jabbering about, she scanned the fields, noticing the four fafners as well. They were all beautiful! Feeling a sense of jealously, she quickly became disheartened, keeping her distant away from all of them as Wesley drew closer to them. Not realizing Zephyr had stayed back, Wesley crept closer to the four fafners and bowed. "Sorry to intrude, but I thought it would be nice to make your acquaintance! I'm Wesley, and this is...." he said droning off as he turned around and looked at a depressed Zephyr from afar. "...Zephyr..." Trying not to frown, he look back and forth between each fafner since he was curious to meet each and every one of them.

"Hey there!" the twins said in unison.
"I'm Apollo, and that's my sister, Artemis" Apollo said brightly.
"We're twins," Artemis added, "though you've probably already guessed that. A pleasure to make your acquaintance" she said.
Apollo glanced over to where Zephyr was sitting, and waved silently. He beckoned her over, smilingly in a friendly manner. "Come on, we don't bite" he coaxed, winking at her.
Reno nodded to his cousin. "Hey Riley" he greeted her, smiling. "I didn't know you were here..." He glanced up at Wesley. "Oh, hi. My name's Reno" he said, taking Wesley's paw in his and giving it a firm shake. "Where are you from?" he asked.

Once again, Fraust hopped along the mountain trail and headed towards the fields once more. He hated being alone, but lately he's been off by himself. Pondering why he felt this way, he lost himself in thought. Soon, he was at the field without realizing it.
After staring across the field for a few more moments, he spotted more Fafners. "Deja vu...I hope these guys are a lot nicer than the others..."
He approached the others and slumped down onto the soft green grass. He loved the feeling of grass against his fur and took every chance he had to roll in it. He seldom saw grass up in the mountains.
"Hello~! Nice day isn't it? I simply loooove this weather!" Fraust chimed, grinning while rolling about like a child.

Nriken ran along the topsoil and grass that covered the land. He didn't know what he was doing crossing the Hreidmar Forest and running through Hreidmar territory exactly. Maybe it was because he'd hearn the flowers in Otr Field were in full bloom? He lived in Attila! Flowers always bloomed there! So why did he need to travel across the island to see these? Didn't matter, he enjoyed running and the adventure. Reminded him of a fluff a friend of his in Brynhild talked about.
His light blue body jumped in the air, his black hair billowing in the wind as he came down upon a pretty yellow flower. When he looked up he noticed there were already seven fafner there. "Well hello there!" He called out rather loudly, loving social situations. He noticed a rather pretty female in purple, her hair white and her eyes ice blue. Nriken wanted to go over and talk to her, but he had already called out to the others as well. So instead he moved his head in the direction of the others if he had caught her attention, noticing she looked a little depressed. Perhaps he could cheer her up with his playfulness?

Requiem sat beneath the tree, swinging his tail. He was already an Uncle. Departure, his elder brother, had apparently mated with his cousin's best friend, leaving him to be doomed to be single. He sat there with his niece in his arms. "Hush, Hime. Listen for the wind. It will call for you....And I will get upuntil it signals me."
"Aw, Uncle Req, you're quiet...Grand Uncle Kaye is so much funner!"
"That is because he is reckless. I need to watch over you, so sleep, Little Princess."
"....Fine...Uncle is not much fun..." She huddled to the warmest place she can find between his arms and settled to relax.

Riley nodded slightly to her cousin Reno, and proceeded to greet the five new fafner. One was a beautiful paleish pink color with (petal deisigns?) on her, the other female was blue with a design of a sun on her, with several yellow marks, a male similar to the blue female,"Twins?" she thought in her mind.A male with grey fur and black floral patterns on him "Floral patters..." she thought wistfully, the first thing that came to mind was....Kaye. She shook her head vigorously in order to notice the more regal looking fafner. He was an icy blue color, with a (crown?) and cloak and several blue crystals hanging over him. She glanced at the last one, he was also blue with several plantish looking designs on him with yellow horns and gems. He was quite handsome....

Requiem meditated in silence, until...Uncle Kaye came up upon view. "Oi, Req! What'cha doin' with Stormy?" He winked over at them and grinned.
"Hey...."
"Grand Uncle!!" Kazehime jumped from Requiem's arms and huddled her grand uncle with happiness.
"Hey, so, Kaye....How's love status?"
"Not well! I've decided to stay single. Mostly all the femmes my age have already mated. Younger maidens seem to be too hyped these days, I just can't accept it." He winked once more and looked at the little girl. "So, Stormy, what do yeh want to do?" He smiled, even though deep inside, his own words pained himself.
"I wanna go meet rebels!!"
"Naw, let's go down to the field. More peace there, I hope. Coming, Req?"
"...." He followed his Uncle in silence. Kaye...you're only hurting yourself like this...You know it yourself....You reckless old fool....But you're you. I can't blame you for that. I can only stand back and watch you go towards the moon...You know it's cold there, but you're forcing yourself...Stop and stay...As you are... "Sure, I'll tag along. Hime, careful..."

Intrigued by the twins', Wesley chuckled. Life was full of mysteries and this was his first encounter with twin-like fafners. As Reno grasped his paw, Wesley widened his eyes in surprise. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet all of you as well! I would be a hunter of the Hreidmar clan" he said pridefully. The ability to help feed his clan was something he held dearly to this heart.
Turning back to the twins, he eyed them carefully, analyzing their movements. Although Wesley was a hunter, his life's goal was to make it to the rank of a speaker. He believed it was a worthy rank to tell stories to his people, especially the young ones! Through his words, he would be able to captivate many.
As he heard more people off in the distance his ears twitched slightly. Twisting his head sideways, he saw an icy like fafner wearing a heavy cape. He looked as if he was royalty! Yet, it seemed very unlikely since no one has ever seen the royal family. Besides him, there was another blue fafner, but of a darker shade. He seemed friendly, but for some reason, he was eying Zephyr. Not thinking too much of it, he figured this fafner would leave Zephyr alone once she showed he true colors.
Blushing in embarrassment, Zephyr could not comprehend what has gotten into her. It seems that her mood swings were getting to best of her. Accepting Apollo's invitation to join them, she made her way as she brushed past the dark blue fafner. Looking around, she noticed the large crowd of fafners. Wrinkling her forehead, she began to perspire nervously. Breathing heavily and feeling a breakdown arising, Zephyr eyed everyone carefully. Unable to think rationally, she moved behind Wesley and continued looking at everyone. Even though they said that they didn't bite, it could have all been some wicked plan to eat her!

Reno blinked. So many Fafner were here, it was surprising that he hadn't noticed them earlier. He nodded at each as they came by, and settled down in the flowers, laying his head in his paws and closing his eyes momentarily. When he opened them again, he saw that there was another Fafner, visible simply because his black fur stood out in the middle of all the brightly-colored plantlife. He turned back to Wesley and smiled. "I'm a sentinel. Brynhild clan" he informed him. "Who's your, um... friend? Zephyr, is it?"
Artemis watched as the lavender female carefully approached them, looking naicked as she hid behind her companion. "Is everything alright?" Artemis asked, cocking her head to one side and examining the female, who was clearly in some degree of stress. Artemis half-smiled. "Shy?"
"Indeed, the weather's pretty awesome today" Apollo said, staring down at the odd, icy-looking Fafner.
"What's your name?" he asked, curious; cocking his head to one side and grinning rather childishly. "I'm Apollo!" he stated eagerly, plopping down amidst the grasses alongside this interesting new friend.

Fraust sneezed as he rolled over a flower fresh with pollen. Pawing at his nose, he wandered off closer to the others. He observed the others through his teary eyes and stopped only to sneeze again.
"Oh! Oh! The pollen! Oh, blasted flowers! So cruel to my poor nose! Behind your alluring scent is a most wicked powder indeed! Oh! I sneeze! Achoo!"
Dramatizing the moment, Fraust stumbled onto the grass again and peered at the patch of flowers in front of him. He blew at it, spreading the pollen away from him.
"Take that accurséd flakes! I suffer no more!"
Fraust stood up again and finally walked over to the others. He eyed the females and gazed at their beauty, but not for long. He didn't seem to have an interest in anyone yet and was completely open to anyone, although he didn't feel he was ready to settle down for a family just yet. He wanted to still be free to wander around and explore. And occasionally get attacked by nature.
Suddenly, a male approached him. Grinning, he bowed like a dignified noble, although he was not one himself. "A most perfect spring day! No wonder so many of us are gathered here." He paused to register the name with the face before saying his name. "The name's Fraust. Nice to meet you!"
As an afterthought, he quickly added, "Oh, by the by, beware of these evil flowers! They attacked my poor nose you know! Had a spell with the sneezes there."

(Sorry, got caught up in something else.)
Nriken shrugged at the reaction of the female, it was no big deal to him. He padded toward the group and sat down, a little dissapointed that no one had said anything back to him. Perhaps they hadn't heard him?
The male that was a lighter blue and wore a cape and looked rather elegant, though his somewhat ditzy personality betrayed that elegant look. Or did it? No, he still seemed elegant. He had a unique personality, Nriken loved that, and his name suited his icey appearance. Fraust.
The light blue male looked around at the group, noticing that there was a pair of twins, one introducing himself as Apollo. Nriken also noticed a black female with dark purple hair and bright gold markings and white jems. Another pretty female! At the moment, however, Nriken could care less if he was single or not. He smiled at her and decided to introduce himself. "The sneezes? Ah yes, the worst part of a field of beauty such as this." He picked a flower and put it to his nose, breathing in deeply before sneezing. "Apologies for not introducing myself, I'm Nriken."

"Oh, hello Nriken" Apollo replied brightly. "Where are you from, if I may ask?" Apollo watched Nriken with some interest as he sat there and sniffed the flowers.
He laughed, picking a flower as well and taking a deep whiff. It was pleasant and sweet, and he instantly recognized the entrancing aroma.
"Mmm... lily of the valley! I love these... But I do love all plants, really. A healer must, if they're to be any good at what they do, I think" he explained. Twisting around, he picked a bright orange blossom and held it out to his nose. Pollen! He'd found the flowers that Fraist had been talking about earlier... these were full of the dusty yellow stuff.
"A price to pay, indeed. You were right, Fraust" Apollo noted, sneezing breifly and taking a few sniffs to make sure his nose was still working properly. His most prized possesion, it seemed... his nose was the most helpful thing he had.

Nodding, Wesley found Reno's story to be believable. As he started asking about Zephyr, a small drop appeared near the side of his forehead. Zephyr was sadly hiding next to him in discomfort. "Yeah... this would be lil' Zeph..." he said as Artemis asked if she was doing alright. Unable to control his mouth, he immediately blurted out, "Nahh, Zephyr is completely "fearless." Chuckling slightly, his brow raised slightly as he turned around to eye Zephyr. If there was one thing Wesley knew how to best, it was being sarcastic enough to get Zephyr out of her shell.
Faking a laugh, Zephyr rolled her eyes at Wesley, "Ha ha... very funny... Wesley is just being well... Wesley... Hey! That should be an adjective. Being 'Wesley'!" Poking fun back at him, she looked at Artemis and tried to give her best cheesy smile. "I um... get a bit nervous around a large crowd of people... I honestly didn't expect to see this many fafners!" she echoed as she looked around, seeing fafners of different colors. Ironically, she thought every fafner with a shade of blue were the coolest to look at. Artemis was a natural born beauty, Fraust looked like a king, and Nriken had some of the most unusual markings! Sometimes Zephyr wished she was blue... or at least had more blue markings.
