Emily snarled as she swiped a rock out of her way. She was not happy. Well when was she. But she was having yet again a horrible day. She woke up to bird all around her, almost begging to be eaten. Then she couldn't catch breakfast until the afternoon.
She was also tired of walking but she did not want to stop she had no clue where she was. She hoped no one was around she would be very annoyed to run into another.

Please stab my heart...

Santos rested on a large, moss covered rock. His dark mane shaded his eyes from the rays of sunlight intruding between the leaves of the trees above. He wasn't very far from his pride's lands, but far enough away that he couldn't see the Great Tree-den.
It'd been a rather lazy day, like usual. The pride was still in the works, and there really wasn't anything to do but talk to Alti or Acantha, and while he admitted they were good company, he wanted something new.
...The time has come for me

Emily looked up, what is that? she thought. It was... another lion. A Male! Oh great!
She snarled and stared at the blob that she saw on the rock and started charging. Letting out a roar as she slowed when she neared it. "Who are you!" Her voice, cold like normal but with a spark of hate. She wasn't a big fan of anything. And being lost was not good on her.

Santos could hear the charging, he could also hear that it slowed. This creature was of absolutely no concern to him. None at all.
Until it talked.
He lifted his head, flipping his black mane back in the process. A female.. a eyeburningly dark female. He stood, muscles flexing under his white pelt. "Well, last time I checked, I was King Santos, so I suppose that would be a good answer." He said in an unconcerned tone. He was defiant to those who dared be rude to him.
...The time has come for me

Emily arched a brow. She was starting to get hungry she couldn't help but to cave in. "I'm sorry." She sighed giving a slight bow. "I'm lost... and hungry." She could hear her stomach growl. "I'm Emily." She said her voice still harsh but it seemed to never change from that. She looked up at the said king.

He pressed his lips in a tight line as she spoke looking around. "I'm pretty sure there's a deer wandering in these parts. He's sick, but I was thinking I'd let him try and come back to health. It appears that won't be happening, so why don't we go find him?" He didn't know why he was being nice to a female that was so harsh sounding, but she was in need.

Emily nodded as she looked up. "Thank you." She let out a small smile, something she did not do that offten. She sat up the best she could and followed behind him. She looked at her tail for a moment before rembering it was not there before looking back up. She must have been a strage sight.
