The Comment and Suggestion Log
Everyone knows that any proper ship takes all her members into account. This is a very new guild (fresh paint, lads and lasses, fresh paint) and the only Jacky guild on Gaia. As such, she needs your comment and suggestions to make her the best Jacky guild ever!
Anything you think can be improved, or any suggestions you have go here, and I will list them as they come up.

Thanks to some very generous donations, the guild has enough gold for 2 3 subforums! Now the question, what will they be?
I have a few ideas...
A possible art forum with songs, drawing (etc), writing
An RP forum
A "history and context" sort of forum where we can talk about what was going on surrounding Jacky. (Like New Orleans, Napoleon, Trafalgar...)

Hey you...
Well, I think a Fan (sub)Forum would be dandy. : ) Suchs things like Fan art, fiction, OCs, and RPs can go in there. : ) Another forum idea would be just a Spam one where we can just post when we're feeling silly or have some good (non Jacky) related news to share. : )

Edit:
Our guild is still very small, I know there are a LOT more Jacky fans out
there on Gaia, the question is....how do we reach them? If you have any
ideas for advertising the guild, please feel free to share them. : )

What I've done so far is open up the advertising thread in the Registered Guilds forum and sent out invitations to everyone with "Jacky Faber" "Bloody Jack" and "LA Meyer" in interest tags. I also sent messages to everyone who had commented in the old advert thread. I wish I had some way of knowing who was in the old guild...
I think I'm also going to scour the Book threads, but I don't really have any other ideas
Those little sig and profile banners are good advertising, but they can only do so much. I'll be making more in the upcoming week, too.

I've got an idea, tho it may take a while to do it, i think it would be cool if we did a sub forum for each of the books, then in the sub forums, each topic could be one of the chapters out of that book, and at the begining someone could type up that chapter, then people could post their insites on that particular chapter of that particular book, also that way if people havn't read that book yet, and they couldn't get ahold of it anywhere, they could read it here in the guild! but the problem is, that would take a long time to type it all up... and someone would have to have the book to type it up, which i'm sure someone has it... but... it's just an idea...

The sub-topic for each book is a very good idea (hopefully that can happen at some point!). I think that the model they have over in the Official Jacky Boards outside Gaia is really comprehensive where it's sectioned as: -Getting to know you -Books (Then into individual books) -RP, Art, Games -Off Topic I also like that we have the history section, too, though. So that's an add-on. As for the typing out of each chapter, while it's a good idea, there would be copywrite issues with that because we can't reproduce the book and give it to people for free unless authorized by Mr Meyer. It's too bad the Jacky books haven't made it to an on-line library yet!
