Zizia Ow~
This happened to me some weeks ago =D When I went to school, I passed two street lamps. when I was under the first one it switched off... o.O; I thought it was a coincidence. But when I was under the second one a cold breeze came up and it switched off too...
When I looked back they were both on again... I was scared for a moment x3
calypso reborn
I have a ghost story! ^_^
it happened when I was still in college...the university I attended is one of the oldest universities in the country (since 1800's)...so a lot of ghost stories have been passed around through the years...anyway, this particular story was witnessed by yours truly...
my class schedule is every day is from 3PM to 7PM...sometimes choir practice comes after the 7PM schedule...so I hang around the school till around 9PM or 10Pm...but I was used to it because I've been in that schedule for 4 years...
anyway, this happened when I was a sophomore...during one of our 6PM classes, our professor (a female) gave us seatwork to work on..and since she really doesn't have anything else to do but supervise and wait for us to finish, she decided for a bathroom break...the bathroom was adjacent to our classroom but is the last room down that corridor...
after like 5 minutes, she seemed sprinting back to the classroom and she looked a little agitated...she sat down and for another 2 minutes, told another female classmate (who sits right in front of me) to go get her bag at the bathroom coz she forgot it...so the girl went to the bathroom..and we heard her scream (terrifying sound like she's gonna be killed or something)...all of us ran to the bathroom...as well as the other students on the other classrooms...and found her unconscious on the floor..then a male voice from our classroom screamed "Noooooooooo!!!"...and half of us didn't went back...I remained at the bathroom with my unconscious classmate...so i really didn't see what happened to my male classmate...
later on, when she recovered her senses, she looked traumatized...fear is still in her eyes...and my professor's face seemed vague, looks a little shocked from all the ruckus maybe...and then my male classmate was crying...crying really hard...
it's was not till another 3 days when all of us knew what really happened...after my professor has taken a leak, she washed her hands in the faucet...and when she raised her head to look at the mirror, she saw a student behind her looking at her with bloodstained uniform...she knew that student...and she knew that that student was already dead...2 years ago, when she fell on the same building...committed suicide from the classroom above ours...that's why she almost ran back the classroom and forgot her bag...needless to say, my female classmate was unfortunate enough to encounter her as well...
as for my male classmate, we also knew why he screamed, although he was absent the next day, our professor told us about it anyways...you see, that male classmate of mine was the younger brother of the girl who committed suicide...he always kept to himself that's why we never knew about it...and he told our professor that on that night, he saw his sister enter the classroom, looked at him with sad sad eyes and jumped from our classroom window...
that kinda took his sanity temporarily...
cole the destroyer Hmm, I have a few to choose from. Here's an interesting one that happened to a good friend of mine:
Her dad had passed away for a while now and she was going through rough times. She was rather distraught and saddened, not knowing how to solve her current problems. She wished her dad was there, because she knew he would have the answers she sought. She knew he could help her and comfort her, for they were very close.
One time, after dinner, she was looking out the window, more like looking at it, since not much can be seen at night with the lights on. As she was lost in troubled thoughts, she simply saw her own reflection.
And than, minutes later, her father's reflection was suddenly standing behind hers in the window it. She also felt a tight squeeze on her left shoulder from him. Automatically, she raised her hand to touch against his, but of course, he was not actually there behind her. She stared at the reflections for a while, looking at his smiling face and comforting eyes. As though he was trying to tell her something...
And of course, when whipping around to set eyes on a physical form, there was no one there. Her father was not actually standing behind her. And when she glanced back at the window, she only saw her own reflection.
It was truly a special moment for her though and she has never forgotten it. moosespitz i walked into the bathroom. did the whole bloody mary thing into the mirror.
and then the lights went out. apparently a pole fell down. we didn't have power for a few days so i had to hang out at a close relative's house.
most likely just a coincidence. but i was screaming my head off. grayflame4789 ok, this happened when i was 10 or 11. that time we were living in a province, so the story about elementals and ghost is everywhere. so im gonna share mine. my cousin visited me one day, her house is not so far away from mine. 9pm its time for her to go home and me and my big sister need to walk her home. im about to ask them to go but they already gone, well thats what i thought since i cant find them around the house. or perhaps they where hiding to scare me. so i go alone by my self to my cousin's house i forgot the reason why i want to go to her house. there is a two path i could take to reach her house, the short one since its late is closed (it has a huge gate). so a took the longest one, but you will also pass the gate of the first path i was talking about. when im in the front of the huge gate, i notice someone, i tough it was leo, the house keeper of the big house before ours and the person locking the gate every night. i stopped for a moment to find out what is he doing, then i realize his shape was unusual, its eating coal with the buttocks protruding backward the head forward. then it jump so high from tree to tree... then my first instinct take over... to run... Alchemist of the Twilight I really haven't had anything creepy happen to me. Except for one thing. We went on one of those ghost tours and I swear I saw someone walk into a tree and disappear. It was really weird, but it could've been my imagination because I was on a ghost tour, thinking of ghosts. But it was night, when the ghosts come out. It didn't really scare me, though I was surprised. Never saw something like that. ChibiHanyou I don't have any personal experiences nor have I seen any ghost clearly visible, but I swear there are things that go on in this house at night. How I know is because sometimes my muscles just tense up so bad, like I'm sensing it or something.
Also, my dog has shown signs of seeing things going on. She'd stare up at the corner of the living room ceiling and her head would follow back and forth as if something was moving. It's strange because our oldest dog who died about a year ago, did the exact same thing.
And one time I had brought her into my bed to sleep with me and all she did was stare at the door and pant. It was really creepy...
Well ever since my fear of ghosts heightened, I now sleep with a night light. It's just that scary for me. daisuke desu So... I tend to stay up late and there have been multiple times where I've gone to the kitchen to take my medicine at two in the morning before going to bed.
One time, walking back, I saw a pretty solid looking black shadow/mass at the end of the hallway by my/my parents doors (they're across the hall from each other). I had to stick my arms out in front of me because I thought I was going to walk into my dad or something, but no one was there.
And another time, also around two, I was walking down the hall and head heavy footsteps behind me, and turned around, once again, expecting my dad to be there, but...it was just an empty hallway.
Needless to say, I don't go take my meds around two anymore.

Jello Star As stupid as this is going to sound ( or look for you literal people ), I think I'm partially psychic. Laugh it up, go on. D:
REASONS:
1. I daydream quite often. Usually about nothing very important, but still. Sometimes I'll just be standing there brushing my hair and looking in the mirror, or watching a movie, but then I'll notice something that stands out. Like a really cool car passing by outside of the window, or my show falls off or something. And then a few days, weeks, months later, I'll have major deja vu 'cause what I was randomly envisioning will actually happen. I swear.
2. A few months ago I was talking to my friend over im. He said he had to go, but that he'd be back later. When he comes back, I go "So how was cleaning your car; time of yor life?" He flipped out, seeing as he actually was cleaning his car and he didn't tell me beforehand. I thought he did tell me, which was the only reason why I said anything, but when I inspected the ims there was no excuse as to why he was leaving.
3. Today I was talking to the same friend. He said, "Yeah, I like this girl named" and then he pressed enter by accident or whatever. I said, "Brenna, right?" Not even a second later he typed "Brenna" and then freaked out on me. I thought he told me this, but he swore he didn't seeing as he only started liking her Friday and I haven't talked to him in over a week. He lives 1000 miles away, so it's not like his friends told me 'cause I don't talk to them. It was weird.
4. At the end of one of those Final Destination movies there's a Psychic quiz where you guess cards. It either has 20 questions or 21 questions; I don't remember. Anyway, my friends worked together and got no higher than 7. I tried and told them not to help me; I got 19 right. They couldn't believe it, so they made me try again three more times to see if it was a fluke. The lowest I got was 18. The highest was all of them.
I have a bunch more. It could all just be coincidence. But still. D: moosespitz parts of my dreams come true.

I get those, too.
Like, I'll stop listening to the radio for days and then suddenly get a song in my head, and when I turn the radio on it's at the exact same place of the song I was at. Or grabbing the phone for no reason whatsoever, than having it ring two seconds into my hand. c:
Weird stuff.

This isn't really a ghost story, but Sylvia Plath lived in my college house and we pretend that her ghost haunts the place now. =P

I wouldn't exactly call it a ghost story, but whatever. So, this happened to me (I'll admit right now, if none of you have/ever watched Xena, you'll have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm a Xena nerd emo )
I'm sitting in my art class, working on this contrast piece of late Kevin Smith (my signature, or he was known as Ares). I don't exactly remember the date, but I think it was around Feb. 15, which, 6 years ago, was the day he passed away. So, I'm sitting in the back, working on it, and this song starts playing on my iPod that he sang. So, I laugh to myself, realizing the coincidence. Then, this cold breeze passes right behind me. I sit no where near the door, and all of the windows are shut. Nobody had walked by me either, and if they had, I wouldn't have felt a freezing breeze. So, I go back to work, thinking that it was just me. But then it passes again, and the song ended. It was really creepy. And, I'm probably just saying this out of my creepy fangirl-self, but it was just so coincidental and ironic: I was painting a piece of Kevin. A song he sang played on my iPod. It was, I believe, on the day he died 6 years prior. And what passed me twice was freezing cold. So, it could've been his spirit/ghost. Iunno. It was just WEIRD.
