Name: Niminya Morigar
Age: Appears Mid-20s
Race: Mogren (Shaidar)
Eye color: Dark Red
Skin color: Chalky Grey
Body build: Slim, athletic, agile
Hair color/length/style: Her natural hair color is a dark, ashen grey, but she sometimes dyes her hair in a flame red color. When her hair is visible it's cut short save for a tail at the nape of the neck about an inch thick and tightly wrapped to hang straight down her back
Clothing: Niminya is usually seen clothed in soft blacks that fade and blend easily, and is clothed so from head to toe. The veil and wrap for her head lay draped around her neck, appearing like a bulky collar, unless she is on an active mission or fighting (in which case the headpiece is wrapped around to conceal her hair and her veil drawn up to below her eyes. A more casual outfit for her could be sleeveless (possibly showing some tattoos, see below).
Armor: Any armor she wears is light, silent, and of a color to blend easily with the rest of her outfit. An important piece of armor she wears is the gal-ralan, a bracer with the purpose of pinning her soul to her body (shaidar are inexorably bound to the Plane of Shadow, a bond which tugs on their soul and, if they aren't careful, will pull it from their body eventually killing them) by piercing through the wearer's arm with long needles on the inside of the bracer. Shaidar believe this piercing pins the soul in place, and the magic of the gal-ralan does accomplish that to some effect. Niminya often wraps strips of dark cloth over the gal-ralan when she needs to avoid being seen, but the bracers may be visible at the artist's discretion.
Tattoos/Markings: Though rarely visible when she is swathed head to toe in her usual outfit of concealing black, Niminya actually has multiple tattoos and piercings on her body, as is common for her race. All of her tattoos are symbolic and have meaning. The ones that have been defined so far are as follows:
For the purposes of getting which side what tattoo is on straight, I am labeling left and right as if she were looking down at her own body from her own perspective. That said, here goes!
Left arm, upper: A tattoo is very stylized lettering (preferrably having an almost shadowy look to it) that reads "Death" at first glance, however when you look at it upside-down it reads "Life". This goes down her arm from shoulder to elbow.
Right arm, upper: Similar to the left arm except this one appears to say "Evil" until you look into the spaces between the letters where it reads "Good". Both of these tattoos are representative of an alibryn's constant struggle to remain on a neutral path. Sometimes their purpose is good or brings life, others it is evil or brings death, and even others it is both at once depending on the perspective.
Torso 1: Arcing over her breasts and then down between them to her belly button, Niminya has a tattoo that doesn't really appear to be anything other than an erratic, almost T-shaped, shadowy blob in very dark gray. Left Side: This tattoo starts about halfway between her breasts and her hips and goes straight down the side of her body ending somewhere around her knee. It's simply a stylized sword pointing down her body, and almost has the appearance as if she were wearing a sword when she's naked. This one symbolises that she is always armed, even when she has nothing but her own body and mind and is duplicated on the right side.
Right Side: See Left Side
Belly Button: Tattooed around her belly button is the image of a dark, stylized, tribal sun. Another reminder of the shadow curse.
Back, upper: On each shoulder blade she has a tattoo of an eye looking something like this: http://www.deviantart.com/view/17464658/ (except of course mirrored on the other side to make a pair). This is symbolic of always being watchful.
Back, mid: On the middle of her back, just below the eyes, she has another tattoo that almost looks, again, like a dark sun. It is, however, a shuriken and written in an almost runic form of lettering is the phrase "Live in Battle".
Back, lower: On her lower back just above her bum but below the mid back tattoo, Nim has a styliized, red-eyed raven with its wings outspread flying over a briar patch. The half of the briar in front of the raven is lush and green and even has a few flowers dotting the small and sparse thorns, however behind the raven the vines are blackened and tough, the thorns more prominent, any flowers dead or dying. This is symbolic to Niminya that everywhere she goes, death follows in her wake.
She also has tattoos on her lower legs/calves leading down to her ankles or across her feet, but those haven't, as of yet, been defined. 3nodding
Also, she has a couple piercings too through her belly button and both nipples. She also has multiple piercings in her ears. However, these piercings are not for aesthetic purposes, but are, instead, a measure of the pain she can endure.
One marking that is always visible is a now faint scar on her face that appears as if some clawed humanoid swiped her across the face just below the eye.
Finally, if she doesn't have on the gal-ralan then her lower arms from her wrists to almost her elbows will be riddled with small marks from the long needles of the gal-ralan constantly piercing her arms.
Weapons: Niminya employs a number of weapons, but her favored weapons are a metal staff concealing twin swords, a katana or other long slightly curved sword that isn't too heavy, or her own hands and feet. She carries throwing weapons (shurikens, knives, etc) concealed on her person.

Character Personality: Withdrawn, untrusting, bitter, hard, cold, distant

Other: Niminya is a member in good standing of the Alibryn, a society of stealthy fighters not widely known and whose purpose is, as of yet, unclear to the few who do know of them. Description: Lingering in the shadows, a feminine form meets your eyes. The form is swathed in soft, loose fitting cloth from head to toe, wrapped about the hands and ankles leaving the feet to be shod in whisper soft shoes, all darkly hued to blend into the darkness she lingers in. A seperate piece covers the nose and mouth in a veil, leaving only the bright red eyes to show. If the headpiece is ever unwrapped and dropped about the shoulders, you can see the ashen-gray hair that falls about a face of high-strewn cheekbones, and ears not quite elven in their softly curved point. Her skin is a lighter tint of grey giving her a pale complexion, and her face is always hardened with seriousness. Scored deep across her face are three pale scars, appearing to have been claw marks of some sort. Hung across her back within easy reach is a long, thin, slightly curved sword, the hilt and sheathe wrapped in the same cloth as her clothing to blend in.
As she turns back to the shadows, a glint of metal flashes about her wrists, appearing to perhaps be bracers of some sort.

Stuck somewhere between the absolution of darkness and the harshness of light rests a woman of morbid sullen-ness. Marked by ashen skin and hair, cropped short, which lends iteself to a dull monotony, she is a woman of average height, not quite passing the mark of 5'6" with a slim, almost elven build. In fact, one could easily mistake her heratige for that of the elves with her high cheekbones and ears that try to draw in that delicate point, but the eyes, as always, are the window to the soul. Always visible whether she is veiled or not, they stand out of the monotonous figure she makes with their vivid red color.
She swathes herself loosly in melanic hues that allow her move freely, cut into a loose body suit, wrapped out the hands in make-shift gloves, and draped around the neck like an overly-bulky collar, her headpiece and veil. At her side rests a wrapped sword hilt, swathed in like-cloth as her clothing to cover it from the eyes. If one looks closely, a wide sash encircles her waist, tied to drape at her side, and beneath where sleeve meets glove, a glint of metal catches in the light.
