So right now I am craving a Spice Girl party like mad.

I'm not ashamed to admit, I love the Spice Girls... I'll love them 'til I die... especially Ginger heart

lol, I realize how dorky this makes me.

I was all sad/grumpy/stressed and I started playing my MP3 player in my car and Never Give Up on the Good Times started playing, I turned it up all the way and rocked out to it, haha. It totally helped my mood.

So now I just want to act dorky like I did when I was twelve and in middle school, dance around singing along as loudly as I can manage with some good friends... or at least fellow Spice lovers. If I can't act as dorky and care-free as I did in middle school, I'd like to act as retarded as I did in high school and just have a really good time for once. I get invited to parties, I sit in the corner and talk to the same two friends and am bored. Maybe I need to drink or do drugs, but I think I just need to bring my Spice Girls CD, lol.

I wanna just put on a ridiculous 90s inspired outfit, especially the skimpiest, most ridiculous Spice Girl-esque outfit I can find.

I'm now considering trying to figure out a place to throw such an event, haha. Unfortunately I live with my mom so a crazy-loud all-night party is out of the question.

Although if I ever get my own place I'm considering making it an annual event, lol. Even if I move to Missouri and don't know anybody there, I'll invite random people, haha.

So... because this is a random, not related to plus-sized people in any way other than my own sick desires, I will leave a discussion!:

4laugh Spice Girls! They're friggin' awesome! (If you disagree, you don't know what you're talking about, lol).
4laugh Parties, especially good ones you'd enjoy or wish you could throw 'cause you think they'd be awesome.
4laugh What ridiculous 90s inspired outfit you'd love to wear!
4laugh What you're not ashamed to admit you love! I love the Spice Girls!
4laugh What you really, really want.
4laugh Which Spice Girl is the best (*cough*Ginger*cough*)
4laugh What ridiculous bands you were obsessed with when you were younger? (Do kids now-a-days even do this? Is this the whole emo-band thing? Is it bad I like them too? ._.)
4laugh Anything else you can possibly think of to comment about!

I totally posted this 'cause I am majorly craving one... also, we need a new stupid topic to babble about and go off-topic on.

I want to go back to the nineties, I miss them so bad sad

Haha, I friggin' love Spice World, it's so deliciously stupid. I saw the DVD that got released when they went back on tour and I was like "OHMYGAWD, IT'S SO SHINEY!" and I almost bought it, but it's the exact same as the VHS I own... including the "special bonus feature".

I only like parties with close friends, so at my Spice Girl party I'd know everybody so it'd rock, lol.

Heh. My former assistant manager loved the Spice Girls, too. We always poked fun at her for it.

I enjoyed some girl power during the 90's and its a toss up between scary and ginger as for the favorites. I saw the movie but i never purchased a CD. They had some good songs and to be honest they were fairly descent role models, i mean look at Brittney Spears (no offense, but not a good role model).

It's true, they were good role models. They were just very successful girls proving we can be anything x3

sail away with me, honey...

The Spice Girls were popular when I was like.....4....or 5...... (is turning 16 on April 8th, SQUEE!)

I always kinda liked them, but I was more into No Doubt when I was that age. Tragic Kingdom was a great CD, and I grew up in the largest Hippie community in Southern California when I was a kid, okay?! We were all into ska and s**t.

And I always felt the closest to Baby because we both have the same name. Emma. gonk

i put my heart in your hands.

They had some things that would be deemed questionable, although actually I don't see much of a problem with it at all.

Melanie C. had an eating disorder, all the pressure from having to be "sporty" really got to her, especially when Geri is the one who introduced her to working out and such.

Geri Halliwell had that whole nude photo hoopla, but I don't see a problem with that... then again, I like pin-ups. If the media had kept it to themselves at the time, nobody would have known to tell their children, lol. Also, now she's an ambassador I believe, has appeared in films and still has a career after Spice Girls.

Geri was always my favorite because she was the thickest, wore the corsets and crazy kind of outfits I wished I could wear, and were I skinny I would look a bit like her (my friend noticed it in a photo of theirs, and pointed it out, lol). The more I've learned about her from her career after the Spice Girls, the more I respect her. Also, they kind of fell apart without her, lol.

All I remember about Melanie B. is that she had a kid with Eddie Murphy... and I don't really know much about what Emma does, I know she did modeling before and I know she still sings, but I don't know much else.

Victoria just gets in the news a ton for being married to a soccer player and schmoozing with movie stars.

its all apart of gowning up, it is such a part of life and you have to find a proper place for it. i know i think the same way but it was me and current me is me too. My taste will probably change again, who knows.

Also i own tragic kingdom, so i was a weird kid and still am weird. My last CD's purchases were the Romanes, Parliament, Mika and Amy Winehouse.

I haven't bought a CD in forever, lol.

I'm one of those people I tend to add on to my likes. I may not be as majorly obsessed as I was as a twelve year old, but I'm not like "Oh my god, I can't believe I liked that." I still like/love it. I kinda treasure everything as making me who I am today.

Like, I know I have bad taste, but it makes me happy... so listen to Spice Girls and Aqua and ABBA I will. I have good taste, too... but I do enjoy the things I know are bad.

i must say
i never really got into the spice girls that much

i was boy crazy even back in the day. i never really listend to jessica, the spice girls, britney or christina. i was always listening to the boys bands, haha. i listened to backstreet boys like mad, and still jam out to this day! i will always sing my heart out to "as long as you love me"

for sure

it was so funny. a couple weeks ago, me and like three other friends were doing illegal things in a basement and wanted to listen to music. alas, the entire house didn't have a radio to use, and the laptop in the room only had a handful of songs. but then we found this cd case that had NOW's 4 and 5

we jammed out on some good ol' 90's music forEVER. it was BOMB
