My name is Jacky Faber and in London I was.... wink My (real) name is Brittany, I'm a freshman in college and live on the East Coast of the US. I've been a Jacky fan since Bloody Jack randomly showed up as a new release in my library.
I've always really loved Jacky, and have a similar personality. Though Jacky is far braver than I am! I'm a Champ Irish step dancer, singer, tin whistler player, canoe bowman, hiker, artist.
I'm really excited to meet everyone and have a never-ending Jacky-fest!

Hey you...
Bloody Jacky Faber I'm a Champ Irish step dancer, singer, tin whistler player, canoe bowman, hiker, artist. Well, you're only a thousand times more interesting than I am. xD;;
Hello everyone, my name is Dulce and I'm an alcoholic. Oh, wait...this isn't AA? Nevermind then! : D But my real name is that but I prefer to go by Wolfy. : ) I reside in the West Coast of the USA in the Apple Capital of the World. : ) In my spare time I love to read, and draw.
I started reading Jacky two years ago, I believe, and I began with Under the Jolly Roger since I am incapable of EVER reading a series from the begining. sweatdrop
What I love about the books? You must be joking. What isn't there to love!? A strong, witty, female lead character, pirates, romance, an lovely time period, AND Liam D. It all took my breath away. redface By god, if I was stuck on a boat with nothing to drink and with a bunch of woman I'd throw myself overboard and let Mother Sea take me.
...BAM! BAM! BAM! Of course, I was joking about the AA thing. I don't drink, at all.

Hello there, I would be the one who Miss Jacky Faber so lovingly referred to as "The Guild Mule" in the Rules thread. Now, personally, I don't see myself as particularly "mule" like. Perhaps my odd devotion to Miss Faber seems somewhat slave-like, and my prison labours in the bloody south of the Mississippi (a time I care not to think of), and the Royal Navy consistency to follow orders, but I am by no means a "mule." Perhaps a fool, but never a mule.
To Miss Wolfy, thank you immensely for the donation of my clothing. I will never let Jacky dress me again in "street beggar" fashion...
wink

well i certanly had fun reading your conversations, my name is Ronylin Aye Takami, but i prefer to be called just ron, even tho most people consider that to be a boys name stare I just started reading jacky this year when i was bored so i picked up the first book about pirates that i could see (i luv pirates) I like mostly everything about the books, they are great and i think the author must have a VERY good imagination and as for being stranded on a boat with several girls and nothing to drink, i've done it before *shudders* i locked myself in the only room besides the deck and turned the music on full blast and looked at the duck feet and fishes out the window biggrin

My name is Katie, and I live in the upper midwest. I first read Jacky over two years ago when I was browsing the library. Since then I fell in love with the spirited pirate fiddler, and the numerous other characters in the books. What isn't there to love? Yay for strong female protagonists! I also fell in love with the writing style of the narration. The books in general have been inspiring for my own writing, seeing that I'm a third into my first novel.

My real name is Alyxis, but go ahead and call me Lykii (Yes, it really is my nickname.)! I first picked up the book Bloody Jack at my school's library, and I never looked back! I tend to use exclamation points a lot! And since everyone else is naming off where they live, I live in Big City, New Mexico, but I've been all over the country, including Georgia, California, Colorado, Florida and lots of other places! The books are some of the best written pieces of historical fiction I've ever read, and, really, the only bits of historical fiction I still read. If I was stuck on a boat with several girls and no water, I'd probably jump off like Wolfy!

Best of luck with the writing! I find Jacky very inspiring, too. I've learned a lot about gratitude and bravery (and a good deal of music!) from those books. Thanks so much for joining!
