Mogwai sat there, silently looking up at the montain peaks, or what he could see of them beyond the clouds. It was his favorite place to lie, and be at peace. It made him feel small and insignificant, and kept his sences together.

Kai ran, trying to rid herself of all the energy she had, as if it were possible for her. But she had nothing better to do, so she picked up speed.
Good thing she was able to slow down before crashing into another Namir.
"Well hello!" she said. Her good mood could be heard in her voice. "What brings you to such a pretty place?"

Mogwai looked over at this new namir silently. He then sighed and closed his eyes, before turning to re-open them looking softly back at the mountains. "It's my favorite place in all the land," he said with a quiet, almost monotone voice, "And what about yourself?"

"Me? I was just bored is all. I've actually never been to this area before. Probably why I've never met you before."
The whole time Kai was talking, she was moving side to side. Even at such a peaceful place she was hyper.
((Sorry it took so long for a reply. I've hardly been able to get on my computer anymore because of school and my brother hogging it and stuff.))

"Ah, I see, so what is your name?" Mogwai murmured, just loud enough for the other namir to hear. A breeze started blowing as he spoke, causing the grass and occasional flowers to blow as one.

"I'm Kai," Kai said in a loud voice.
She looked at the other Namir kind of weirdly. Why was he talking in such a soft voice? Did he know it was hard for her to hear him. The breeze ruffled Kai's fur and made her look at the swaying grass and flowers.
"Oh wow, pretty."

Mogwai looked back towards Kai, once again a blank stare on his face. "Well hello Kai," he said back to her, a little louder than before, but still just below a normal tone. He followed her gaze to the grass, and then to the swaying flowers. "So, you lik flowers?" he questioned in his low, monotone voice.

"Well sure. What girl doesn't like flowers?" Kai was smiling and the conversation made her sit down.
"So... What's your name?"

Mogwai thought for a while in silence. "I don't think my sister likes flowers very much," he said, still unemotional. "I am Mogwai, the only male of the husky triplets and the one destined to forever remain grieved, sorrowful, alone..." His voice trailed off and for the first time in the conversation he face showed but one emotion, sadness.

Kai was looking at Mogwai oddly again.
"Why on earth are you so sad, especially in a place like this?"
She was never sad. There were too many fun things to do for her to be sad. Maybe she could cheer him up somehow?

Mogwai sighed, and looked up at Kai, his blank, emotionless face back. He shrugged and said, "I'm not a really happy person, haven't been in a long while..." He wondered why she even cared, nobody ever cared about his feelings.

"But that doesn't explain why you're not a happy person! Being depressed is so boring..."
Her tail twitched irritatedly. She didn't like seeing people be so miserable.
"Is there anything I could do to make you happy?"
She didn't care if she had to waste her own time. She'd probably have fun doing it anyway.

Mogwai slightly chuckled to himself. 'What an interesting namir,' he thought to himself. Mogwai pondered for a while at what he wanted to do, nobody had cared about his opinion in a great while, so it was difficult for him to come up with one on such short notice. "Well, I don't really know..," he admitted, still trying to come up with an idea. "I'll do whatever yo want to do, I guess."

"Hmm..."
Kai had lots of ideas floating around in her head. The hard part was choosing which one to do.
"Why don't we start with a race?" She stood up and swished her tail competitively. "First one to the base of those mountains wins, alright?"

Mogwai shugged and muttered an, "All right," before standing up and stretching out his legs and paws. She then half-heartedly started to jog towards the mountain, looking back to see if Kai was coming with him.
