Okay, I noticed the lack of activity around here. So here is my attempt to lighten things up. I saw the thread game naming where the character is from. But I just wanted to start a good old fashion thread about your favorite myth or play. Any time period (keeping with the theme of this guild) and any civilization.
I think my favorite myth was the story of Icarus. You all probably know the story. He and his father were trapped in a labyrinth (prison of sorts). To get out his father crafted wings from feathers and wax. Icarus was going to be the first one out. His father warned him not to venture to close to the sun. But he got caught up in the moment after he lifted of the ground that he began to soar higher and higher. That was until his wings started to melt. He continued flapping but the wings had melted away, leaving nothing but his bare arms. He then plummeted into a sea.
Do you guys have a favorite myth or play?
