The young goddess was growing rather nicely into her bones, anyone would say if they dared look long enough. With her towering height and lithe, yet finely muscled frame she was a different sort of huntress. Her abilities left her capable of spending time training herself physically in other ways, which ultimately accounted for the lack of bulk. It was more by the fact that she took joy in running with her creations that she was fit, oh, and of course the little physical training that she did take upon herself to do. Until recently her focus had been honing her powers. She was quite the match for any god already, and that with her power limiters on, but with War himself as her teacher, no one should be surprised.
At the moment she could be found basking in all her dust-covered glory on a large and flat rock. Between her paws was a well sized bone, clutched securely, which she was savoring a bit of remaining flavor from before working on splintering it. In fact, she was even starting to entertain the idea of a few bone accessories. Hadn't Mrost mentioned one of his prized generals adorning such armor? It wasn't that she needed it, but it did sound like one hell of an accessory. Maybe something simpler, though, as she didn't want anything covering up her prized mane. Those thoughts were, unfortunately, fleeting though, and not enough to entertain the deity of destruction. She really wished something interesting would happen.

-He was being careless.
The swaying greens, yellows, and browns of the savvanah were violated as the brillant sapphire blue pelt tore through the grasses. If it weren't for that thick black mane or the incredible mass in which genetics and a life of practice had sculpted for him, one might almost think he were a child again. Sharp claws tore at the the blades, heavy paws swiped so strongly that bits of grass uprooted themselves along with the dirt, leaving a path of destruction only befitted to the tantrum that rocked through him.
After months and months of searching.. hell, it was easily half a lifetime, and him and Matsai had just been thrown to the side by their mother. They'd spent their life travelling to find her, and now she seemed dead bent on traveling to keep from them. b***h. His teeth clenched, a growl ripping through his throat with a viciousness that would probably cost him come the next day.
And what of those insults about their home? What sort of princess abandoned and degraded her kingdom? And Matsai, just letting her get away with it? He fumed with anger, his muscles hard and formed as he paced violently. b***h. Whore.
He had always hated women because of his sister.. because of her. Well, now atleast she'd proved herself for what she was. His chest heaved with each successive growl, before finally his paws began to pull him forth once more, claws stabbing into the dirt with each step.
As his tantrumed violence settled slightly his senses, quite on overdrive thanks to the adreniline pumping through his form, picked up on a sound quite familar. The cracking and snapping of bone.-

Elly's head lifted at the sound of that outraged scream, but she felt her breath catch painfully (which she ignored) at the sight of that blue pelt. For just a second she almost thought it was Mrost, but Mrost would never disguise himself as a mortal, and this male's mane was black, no wings, green eyes, yes, and then there was the scent and way he carried himself, definitely not her Mrost.
For a moment she thought of leaving her bone where it lay she then thought better of it, lowering her head to retrieve it in her jaws, Chamchela rose to her paws. It was certainly something interesting.
She carried herself closer then, still not bothering hide her wings. When she was close enough to be seen she dropped her bone to the ground with a lick of her chops, speaking out. "What the hell's got you in such a fuss?"

-And instinctive growl and barring of those sharp teeth exposed themselves as Ahai's eyes whipped upwards at the voice. The subtlely feminine tones only seemed to pick and draw at that rage, but soon enough those thoughts weakened as his eyes settled upon the apendages that reached skyward from below her shoulders.
His snarl softened, his eyes focusing, his stance pulling upwards with a puff of his chest. Oh he was still angry, furious in fact. But a tantrum had been replaced with an ego as he warred with what had just appeared before him. A female, the kind of creature that made his blood boil right now. And a god.. the kind of creature that, even if only subconciously, made him feel closer to his father. Respect outweighed sexism for the moment.
Though his poise and tone certainly weren't friendly, it was obvious that he would make no move against her, not yet atleast. 'None of your business' was the initial snap in his head, but he decided better, confiding truthfully.- "A right b***h of a female."
"Lying... selfish... female." -Strange how the words all seemed to carry that same weight as if he were spitting each out, even despite his attempt to be 'respectful'. Female gods after all, had to be better then mortal females, probably even to par with him.-

Elly could only smirk at Ahai's "terms of endearment" for the creature that had apparently infuriated him so deeply.
"Speaking from experience, the longer you hold onto that anger the more of you she gets to keep and control you know." The young goddess replied as she settled back onto her haunches. "So, who is this 'right b***h'?"
Anyone I know? She resisted the urge to add, not really "caring" per say, but having nothing else to do, so seeing no problem in passing the time with a little conversation.

-It was none of her business clearly and yet he took the bait anyway, more than happy to vent his thoughts. For after all, wasn't that the point of tantrums? To gain attention or get one's way?
His voice huffed and puffed as he talked, quite vividly showing his foul mood, and yet his eyes began to betray those tones, inspecting the goddess curiously.- "My mother, Kiuma. If you could call her a mother. What good are mothers that continually abandon their children? Trash, pure trash. What a waste of my time I've given looking for that b***h."
-It wasn't really a waste, oh how he'd grown, and surely one day he'd come to forgive her, but for now he whooped and hollered like a young child, quite clearly wearing the brashness of his personality upon his shoulder. However, during his tirade, her surprising tidbit of wisdom finally settled in his head, causing his ears to lift forward, a masculine noise eruptting from him.- "Control? Pahh.. She gave that up before I even had one black hair."
-Was it true, his mind beckoned maliciously.. Whether or not it was, he suddenly felt a great urge to make sure that it was. Being his usual grumpy and completely uncharming self, he prodded at her lightly.- "What is it with thinking anger and emotion is a bad thing? As long as you can back it up when there is a problem, there is no harm in being yourself."

Elly was aware of his curious eyes, and only showed it with the tiniest of smirks, which could be attributed to her simply listening to his angry thoughts. She hadn't, after all, yet discribed her domain. Maybe she had a title that fit such enjoyment. She didn't of course, but she was getting quite the kick out of watching his towering frame heaving with anger all the same. It was that kind of physical power that she wanted to achieve for herself, who knew, perhaps she already had, she'd not know until she removed her limiters, but she wasn't quite ready for that yet.
"Oh, hell, I never said there was anything wrong with that." She snorted, standing up then and shaking out her fur, right down to the unruly ruffle of a "mane", the Mohawk on her head. "But you do have to be careful not to let it cloud your judgement or it'll completely take over your life. Trust me, I should know." She scowled. "I've spent the better part of MY life looking for my no good b*****d of a father. I swear if I ever DO find him I'll rip his throat out..." She muttered. "But I realized the same thing as you. You said it yourself. It's a waste of your time, isn't it? So let it go..."
She moved closer, circling him lazily, abandoning her bone for now.
"Plus... there's that little problem with you being mortal, meaning of course that if you die you don't get any second chances to act on that emotion that's driving you now. Kind of pointless throwing yourself into a situation that'll just end up costing you your life if it cuts your goals short, ain't it? Not that chasing your mother around necessarily qualifies as deadly." She quirked a brow. She wasn't one to give out advice, far from the counseling type, but speaking her mind she could do, and she could share some of the teachings Mrost had given her. Maybe it was the blue of this guy's fur, but she kind of liked him, just enough to be social for a little bit and hear him out. He should feel privileged!
"Kiuma... isn't that one of the princesses from the Pridelands...?" Elly made a face, the name sounded familiar, and it should. Her mother had dragged her there as a child. OH! ".... Yeah, I know of her."
~I remember -you- too, now that I think about it.~ She realized, though keeping that to herself for now. She was being a bit too chatty for her comfort as it was.

-His rambling torrent of frusteration and irritation were beginning to subside, black tip ears lifting forward to catch her words as his own mouth shut for the moment. Sad for her, that the emotion she was relishing in, was slowly fading thanks to her pressence.
The very tone of her voice, the confidence, power, that mild attitude that rang with certainty reminded him so much of his own and some of the other boys he'd played with as a cub, that Ahai found himself glancing at her once more, as if to make sure it WAS a female that stood before him. And when he'd assertained that fact, it spread a smirk across his ivory and azure maw his amusement beginning to outweigh the sheer pissiness that had him riled up before.
He listened simply to her thoughts on his mother, noting the mild similarity as she mentioned her father. And as she lifted herself to begin to circle and surround him, he stood without even the slightest notion of worry. She WAS a girl after all. No matter how godly she was, nor how much she reminded him of 'one of the guys'. And as those words of wisdom sounded, his lips drew back to show teeth, a grumbling threat sounding as he bolstered his already mountainesque ego.- "Mortality isn't some weakness to hide behind. I bet I've already taken down more opponnets then most gods have." -Eyes narrowing mildly he added lightly.- "And I bet the number that have fallen to me already will only be met and exceeded even more in the future."
-His threat remained verbal, he body remaining loose and unthreatening as she continued to draw nearer and nearer. Perhaps he was being shielded by his curiousity and current amusement with the goddess, perhaps some subconcious force of self preservation had shown itself for once. Either way, Ahai merely shook his MUCH more impressive mane, eyes widening a bit as his homeland came to topic.- "Do you then? Small world. Or perhaps my mother has actually done some of the worthwhile junk she used to claim she'd done. Color me surprised"

Chamchela simply snorted dismissively at his words, not impress and hardly taking them for truth. He was a far cry from meeting those standards, and she wasn't about to stroke his ego and let him believe otherwise.
"You? Kill more mortals than me? Maybe some of those prissy, pansy domains like 'Discomfort', or 'Deceit', but death follows in my wake. I can tear entire prides apart in minutes, I could break your body into so many pieces there wouldn't be enough left for the vultures to pick at. I've killed more in my days as a child than you'll likely ever be able to boast... -Maybe- you could put the entire pride of the Firekin to shame, but when it comes to challenging a goddess' skill, that goal might be a little out of your reach."
She smirked, stopping shoulder to shoulder with him, narrowing her eyes in challenge.
"You think you've got that in you? I'd love to see it. Prove me wrong. How about a wager? Just to see you put that tough talk where your muzzle is."

-Whelp, there it was.
As her ego began to flare, boastful (and likely true) words assaulting him Ahai's own ego began to knead at him, his chest puffing further and further against her attack. Hell, had he been even half as collected as his twin he might have simply taken the off handed compliment that he could take on the Firekin pride. But no. Not Ahaiyuta.-
"Oh yeah girlie" -Attitude leaked from him like water from a waterfall. He was as good as her. She was just some punk adolescent goddess. He had more time and experience under his paws then she could imagine. Or atleast that's what his mind told him. Stupid little girl. Soon enough she'd realize who she was dealing with.
His shoulder pushed against her lightly, just enough to make contact, to show her just how big he truly was. No way he could turn this down, not even if he wanted to. Grin growing wide, into a dangerous smirk, he mused.- "What is it you have in mind? Because I'd just LOVE to prove you wrong."
-This.. was going to be fun.-

Elly's response to his taunt was a simple and almost lazy sneer, snorting derisively at the term as she pushed back at his shoulder with her own. "Well boyo, a contest, plain and simple. We pick a spot and use it to keep score. Whoever brings back the most skulls or corpses at the end of a month wins. Loser has to do whatever the winner decides at the time... short of lying down and dying, of course." She smirked a little bit, crookedly, tossing that taunt in from earlier in their conversation.

- A contest. The most skulls. It seemed a simple enough task, easy and straight to the point. A simple smirk settled upon his features as the idea set in, and he nodded simply to the little game.
His shoulder pressed against hers a little more, not one to relent even to such a simple motion or threat. It wasn't infact until he caught that small tease of her certainty that he would loss that he pulled back abruptly, taking away any part of him she might have been leaning against.- "Sounds like a real good time to me."
"You'd just better not chicken out and not show up once you start to see how big my pile is getting...." -He paused abruptly, trailing as he missed the last word he wanted.
Ever the 'charming' soul he teased mildly, eyes shooting the minutely playful viciousness that he so often shared with his twin.- "Wanna tell me your name goddess? That way I'll know how to hunt you down if you do chicken out?"

Much to Elly's horror she actually did lose a step as he pulled back, but quickly made up for it by placing a paw again firmly, with the briefest flare of her wings as the only indicator she might've stumbled. She glowered.
"Don't push your luck, mortal-boy. I could just kill you right here and now if you piss me off. I'm not a damn coward. Besides, I won't lose." She smirked, straightening up again and moving past him. "My name is Chamchela, most know me as Elly, and I'm the goddess of Tornadoes..."
A purple gaze focused distractedly, but sharply all the same, on Ahai.
"And what about you, what name do -I- give if you don't show when it's time to come claim my prize?"

"Elly, how sweet. That name come with flowers attached?" -A huff of air caught in his throat, the brunt of his laugh getting caught behind his teeth as she divulged her 'sweet' little nickname. In truth he didn't think it fit her, and he much preferred the other one. It was stronger, more fitting for the creature that stood before him her whole attitude and apperance something refreshing and different then any females, hell even alot of males, he'd met in awhile.
For bicker as they might... the azure lion felt no real ill will against the goddess before him right now. In fact, he was enjoying himself despite any minor huffs and puffs.-
"Ahaiyuta." -He stated simply and clearly at her request, having no great title to give to her, for at the moment he felt no pride in that usual quip of 'son of kiuma princess of the pridelands, son of Tanaka god of conflict'.- "I'll most definately be here Chamchela. Wouldn't miss the look on your face for a months worth of antelope."

Elly's eyes narrowed, hackles bristling up a bit. That nickname had been her first sprout of rebellion against her mother at the young age of having just learned to speak. She had never thought of it as girly, she'd had it too long to really question it at this point in life, and as a child it hadn't matter since she'd hated how stuffy her full name sounded. Both names were a part of her now though, both had grown onto her, though maybe it was about time to stop introducing herself as Elly (Something she'd reserved only for those that had gotten on her good side), still. If he needed to find her there were those that would only know her as Elly, so he had to know!
That was her justification for it anyway.
"Don't start." She snarled. "There's a small cave not far from here. We'll collect the skulls and bodies there. No prey, other predators, nothing smaller than a cheetah. I'll mask the cave with my powers so that others won't mess with it and ******** up our score count."
