This is kind of embarrassing to ask but...
What do you think of writing erotica as a way of making money?
I still live with my parents so it's going to be hard but I already wrote 5 pages already and it's still very much an unfinished rough draft. I think this might be an easy way to break in the world of writing and to make some money at the same time.

I think that with most crafts, if you go the route that gets you "into the biz" the easiest, you usually end up pigeonholing yourself since your fan base will essentially be built on your earlier work and may not embrace your new stuff as well
If that doesn't bother you then by all means go ahead

I drew porn under a pseudonym. It paid bills and got me some practice but did not help me in any other way.
I don't regret doing it, but I don't think it was the best thing.

Well... some of them (the older ones) have Fabio painted with some b***h. I'm a romantic so I like reading those types of cheesy romance novels to pass the time if I don't have my horror fantasy novels at hand lol. I do all that erotica porn stuff for myself. I don't do it for profit. It makes me giggle and feel all mushy inside.
