Granted this was a tiny match all things considered, it was a good one. We played with one or two troop selection, with alternative allowed for a more interesting match.

The field was a city fight, with tight paths, many sandbag barriers, and buildings run close together.

I played my army of Necrons, Terra Mortis. Mike played the Death Guard Nurgle, and my brother played his personal Khorne army, the Cowboys From Hell.

I had 1 troop of 12 warriors, and my Nightbringer.

Khorne had 1 troop of Chaos Marines with bolters plasma pistols, a plasma gun, a las-gun, and heavy bolter. (with several power fists thrown in). Kharn was his HQ.

Death Guard ran bolter and plasma marines with Typhus at it's head.

The match started slow, Death Guard at one end, and Khorne and the Necrons on the same end, but separated by heavy terrain. The Khorne army marched straight down the street like a conquering horde, while the D.G. poured from a ruined structure like the pestilence the resemble, and revere.
Soon after, the Necrons blind-sided both armies. The Warriors emerged from the left of the D.G. (Khornes right), and took aim at the Guard. The Nightbringer remained to defend the vulnerability of the Warriors if the C.F.H. (Khorne) closed the gap. They instead moved around the other side of the building between them, staying there to fire upon the Guard's second unit. Kharn then broke away and charged boldly into the first unit. Typhus and his Guard came for the Warriors, pushing them back, and sending several into a state beyond repair.

The Guard was dwindling, as the Warriors retreated into a building for tactical advantage, and the Nightbringer took on the DG Typhus and his guard. After SEVERAL failed Lightning Arcs (3 rolls of 1 in a row - T crying T), the arc connected, killing another Guard. The Nightbringer closed the space and took on Lord Typhus, who would clash Scythes with the Star God C'Tan. Unfortunately for Nurgle, Typhus had been weakened by Khorne's ranged weapons, and the desperate attempts were no match for Kaelies Ra's Living Metal Scythe. With Typhus out of the picture, only a small handful of the other Death Guard remained, but MANY Khorne were left. Kharn quickly massacred a handful of the remaining Guard, but died somewhere in the struggle after he slayed the only remaining Death Guard... the DG Company's Champion.

Now, the Khorne forces sought to destroy the Necrons, by slaying the Nightbringer. They piled around him, throwing all they had at the C'Tan, but to no avail. Several were crushed by the dark flames of the Nightbringer's "Gaze of Death", and several more would fall to it's scythe as well. Amazingly, the two units with powerfists would prevail in wounding the Nightbringer to the point of breaking. In it's final stand, Kaelis Ra would end the life of one of the only two members of the forces of Khorne. One Khorne Marine wielding a Chainsword and a Powerfist stood in the now empty field. Before him in the ruined building remained the four final Necron Warriors. If one were to be destroyed, they would be forced to Phase Out. Fortunately for the soulless beings, the Khorne Marine entered and charged, throwing several massive attacks. One Warrior dropped, but revived itself, in the manner of a true Necron.

After a long and arduous set of rounds involving back and forth attacks, the Necron Warriors managed to finally wound the Khorne Champion. His final act of faith to his Blood God would be his OWN lifeblood poured onto the gravel and rubble around him to feed the crimson thirst of Khorne. Unfortunately, their sacrifces would all be in vain, as the Necrons had succeeded in eradicating all life from the city. Only the metal machines remained, and though they may have died to serve their Chaos Gods... in death, their souls would feed the Nightbringer.

The second troop of Death Guard came out single file. We thought it looked like some kind of horrid Conga Line.
