Private Rp between .Tortured. .Pumpkin. and Myself. Please don't post. ~~~ It was a mild afternoon, for winter at least. The sun was playing peek-a-boo from behind the clouds, sheding warmth at random, making the snow sparkle and glare and melt. In some places it was almost completely gone, heralding the arrival of spring to come.
Indu fully intended on enjoying the break in the chill weather. The gold stallion had eluded his father's watchful gaze for the moment, and he was feeling rather, well, almost giddy. Giving a 'whoop', he pranced and bounded about, kicking his back feet out now and then, acting more like a colt then a full grown stallion. Sun flashing off the sparkles on his coat and wings, he was oblivious to any about him. The clearing had been vacant of any other aside from a rabbit or two, which had disappeared swiftly after his first loud noise, so he had no worry of colliding with anyone else. He galloped and spun, kicked and trumpeted his giddiness to the heavens like he had not a care in the world. Which he hadn't right now. Only the weather to enjoy and his freedom to savor.

Blue eyes glistened in the short burst of sun before quickly looking downward. The mare they belonged to was peering into a small puddle, checking on her mane to make sure she hadn't gotten anything tangled in it while wandering through the forest. Pleased to find that she hadn't, Dusty Trails looked up only to find the sun gone and nobody in sight to admire her perfection.
At hearing the loud noises, she scowled, only to remember that frowning and things of the like caused wrinkles. Forcing herself to smile, she searched for the source of the racket. "Hey! You're ruining the..." Dusty wasn't exactly sure what to call it, so she said the first thing that came to mind. "Quietness!"

Indu flattened his ears slightly as someone yelled, setting all four hooves once more on the ground and turning in place to see who it had been. Squinting his eyes, he spotted a mare at the edge of the clearing, but that was all he could tell. That and she didn't seem happy about something. "I'm not ruining anything! I'm only enjoying the afternoon!" He called back, head tilting as he sidestepped in the opposite direction from the mare, flicking his tail. It wasn't very polite, but then again, Indu didn't see any reason to be polite to someone whose first action was to yell about him being a disturbance to the peace.

Dusty noticed something... Different about the stallion. It was on the side of his body, and she wasn't exactly sure if it was just a marking or something more. In her curiosity, she completely forgot about wrinkles and squinted at him when the sun showed itself once more.
The snow between them would surely stop her from walking toward him had she not wanted to know what it was he had on his body. Instead, she took large steps toward him, lifting her legs high to avoid as much snow as possible. Despite the warmth and rain lately, the snow was quite deep in places. She nearly got stuck a few times, but continued toward him, determined to figure out what was on him.

He blinked and paused his movement as he caught the mare making her way out from the trees and in his direction. Ruffling his wings a bit, he sidestepped before he stilled once more. Now that she had moved from beneath the trees, he could catch more of her appearance. A dusty brown coloring with white swirls in curious patterns. And rather startling blue flowers twined in her hair. Where she could have found such vibrant blooms in this snow was just another curiousity.
But it would seem that he was now the current object of curiousity, judging by the look on her face and the sudden determination with which she had started towards him. The look he was rather used to, on account of his odd appearance.
The stallion gave a soft sigh of amusement, tail flicking and brushing the short, yellowed grass. It would seem that he would have to take this encounter with a bit more patience then he had originally thought necessary. But that was fine. Indu would much rather answer nosy questions about his looks then have to fend off an angry female who had taken offence to his dancing.

Upon reaching the stallion, she smiled and tried not to stare. Having never seen both wings and a horn on a Soquili before made her quite curious of the combination. And that tail. It seemed to have bones and muscles. Where was the hair? Finally gaining her voice, she greeted him. "Hello." It wasn't much, but she didn't really know what to say to such an odd creature.
Dusty continued to examine him, eyes moving from the speckles on his hooves to the tip of his golden horn. She didn't even notice when one of her orchids fell from her flowing mane onto the ground below.

Indu tilted an ear back and looked amused at her attempts to not stare. "Hello there." He replied with a nod of his head before he continued to watch her, studying her in return. Such an odd mare this was. From the swirls on her seemingly dirty coat to the startling flowers in her hair. But then again, the stallion had no right to think her odd really, since he himself was such an odd combination to look at. Tilting his head as one of those flowers fell from her mane, he sidestepped slightly and bent his head down, picking the flower up delicately by one petal. Lifting his head, Indu offered the flower back to her with a slight toss of his head, braids flopping about his face with the movement.
