RacesThere are two different types of races in Cordula, parasitic and solo.
Parasitic races have to have a solo creature in their 'partnership' to survive, and once they die they too die. Because of this parasitic creatures are usually everyone's dream 'pet' since they would do anything to keep their partner alive.
ParasiticParasitic races are either hatched from eggs or born. As eggs they await for another creature to find them, one they like, before hatching. After birth they are left by their mothers in a comatose state until a creature they like finds them.
Once they chose their partner they are bounded to their thoughts and emotions for life and often times give their partner strange abilities that they would have been without other wise. They entire life becomes devoted to keeping their partner safe and happy. When their partner dies, they die.
Some races can be both parasitic or solo. The reason is unknown but it is believed that these creatures mated with humans long ago which explains their human shape and the fact they can be both. Humans are solo and their ancestors are believed to be some of the first parasitic.
A baby born of a parasitic father will be parasitic. A baby born of a parasitic mother will be solo. (but only certain races)
ElementalsElementals are a distant relative to demons. Long ago they were once one in the same up until the point where elementals were the only demons who were able to create either fire or water, this is different from the others since no one else can actually create the element without any source.
These creatures are born alive and left in a comatose state by their mother. When their chosen partner finds them, they awaken and began their lives.
Types: Fire and Water
Gender: Male or Female
Fire
Fire Dogs are fire elementals in the form of a large dog. They can be any variation of the colors red and black, and any shape or form.
As 'puppies' they have no fire abilities at all and it isn't until they hit maturity around 6 months do they first show signs of being an elemental.
They are the stronger of the two fire species but only have to speed of an average dog, which while fast is no match for that of the cat.
Like their water counterpart they bond for life and tend to have their partner's personality. This being said they cannot be put into a stereotype because it is how they are raised that determines how they act.

Fire cats are fire elementals in the form of a large cat. They can be any variation of the colors red and white, and any shape or form. As 'kittens' they have no fire abilities at all and it isn't until they hit maturity around 6 months do they first show signs of being an elemental.
They are the faster of the two fire species and their lack in strength is made up by their ability to con others.
Like their water counterpart they don't tend to strongly bond with anyone, just like immortal cats they will cling to anyone who gives them attention but aren't too fond of random attention. They will protect their partner no mater what, but it is more on a personal and not a 'caring' level.
Water
Water Dogs are water elementals in the form of a large dog. They can be any variation of the colors blue and white, and any shape or form.
As 'puppies' they have no water abilities at all and it isn't until they hit maturity around 6 months do they first show signs of being an elemental.
They are the stronger of the two water species but only have to speed of an average dog, which while fast is no match for that of the cat.

AbilitiesTheir partner will gain the ability to manipulate (Not make) their animal partner's respectable element.
Those with dog elementals tend to end up stronger with heightened sense of smell, taste, hearing, and sight.
Those with cat elementals tend to end up faster with heightened sense of smell, taste, hearing, and sight.
Pegasus
Pegasus are the creatures of dreams, literally. They are far different from all the other parasitic creatures in the sense that they at birth actually find their chosen partner and remain in their dreams until they are mature enough to show in the physical world, as a human.
Age: Immortal, they only die with their partner does. In human form they can only appear as either a little kid, between the ages of 6 and 13, or a young adult between the ages of 18 and 25. The reason for this is unknown.
Gender: Can only be male. (They do not reproduce but instead are always reborn)
Height: Grow to the maximum size of a large horse.
Weight: Generally only the weight of an average lean horse.
Pegasus can come in many different colors, but the most common are white and black. All Pegasus have large wings which fold over their back when not in use. Their human form always has the same color hair as their fur.
DragonsTypes:Land; Air; Water
Gender: Male or Female
Typical Height: Depends on age, they never stop growing and grow at a steady rate up until they are slightly bigger than a horse (around 3 months) then their growth rate slows down, but doesn't stop.
Typical Weight: Once again depends on age and height.
General Personality: Land dragons are possibly the most ill tempered of the dragons. They are easily angered and it is very hard to calm them down.
Air dragons are considered the most peaceful of the dragons, as well as the most anti-social. They are hard to connect with as anything more than a creature who only keeps you alive to keep itself alive.
Water dragons are the most mysterious of the dragons. They are rarely seen and it is estimated that thousands of their eggs lie asleep at the bottom of the ocean just waiting. They are also the most social of the dragons, and the only ones who can conceal themselves as human (usually with tiny dragon traits left behind). This was an adaption they learned in order to survive on land with their partner.
Water Dragon
Water dragons were once great dragons that ruled the land next to the greatest of solo creatures. They loved peace and the connection they had to their partners and relished in it, until a new breed of Dragon was born from the depths of hell, the Land Dragons. The Land dragons forced them to the sea, and over time the last of those with partners learned to become human-like in form but where forced to the sea to breed and lay eggs. Their eggs lay in rest, like all the others, waiting for their partner to find them. Unlike the others.. ..their eggs lay in rest under the sea.
PowersWater Dragons, like all dragons, have the ability to breath fire and have special abilities that are given to their partners.
The Water Dragons, in accordance to their names, have water like abilities. Their partners in turn gain water based abilities, as well as the ability to heal. They cannot bring people back from the dead, or even back from the edge of death but they can heal minor skin wounds.
AppearanceWater Dragons come in all different colors, but all colors tend to have some sort of blue shade in them.
Their scales are much smoother than other dragons and they are much easier to pierce because of this.
They have large bulkier heads and their bodies have the same shape as the Land Dragon, only is slightly smaller. Their wings are also more webbed and connected along their side and all the way down the sides of their tail. Their toes aren't relatively sharp and are webbed.
Due to their weak bodies, compared to other dragons, their main defense and attack is their strong connection to their partners and their brains. They are by far the smartest of the dragon races.
Land Dragon
Land Dragons appeared just after Water Dragons and are rumored to have been awakened by a demon lord from the depths of hell. They gain this reputation due to the fact they are the most barbaric of the dragons. Few bond and all are born with the weakness of being easily angered. Once angered these dragons have been known to slaughter even their partner and fight up till the moment they finally die.
They are loathed by most people and are commonly hunted, their eggs often being destroyed long before they are able to hatch. However the darkest of beings crave their power and will do nearly anything to come upon one of their eggs.
PowersLand Dragons, like all dragons, have the ability to breath fire. Unlike other dragons they have a natural talent for using the fire element. While they may not be able to create fire without a fire source (their fire breathing is a fire source) they are able to take even the smallest flicker of flame and create something terrible.
Their partners too have the ability to control flames, but few ever master this and are instead killed by their very power.
AppearanceLand Dragons only come in the darkest of colors, black, blood red, dark blue, and so on.
Their scales and flesh is the hardest of all the dragons and only the underside of their neck (right against the skull) and their eyes are open to attack against non-dragon attacks. The only known thing that can pierce anywhere else on their bodies are dragon claws and fangs.
They are larger than the Water Dragons, and the heaviest of the dragons. They have small heads and long necks. Their claws are extremely sharp and powerful and their wings are only attached to their back by a single joint. Their wings are also easily damaged and often times they do not fly.
Air Dragon
Air Dragons are the oldest of the dragons, spoke of in Chinese mythology long before this century. They were said to have died out until just after the war when one of their eggs was awakened by a young woman.
Over time a second egg was found, and then a third, and then so on and now they have quiet a large population.
They are one of the few parasitic creatures who can survive without their partner. Once their partner dies they can live long enough to mate, which can be thousands of years, and once they lay their eggs, they die.
They are the wisest of the dragons, and the kindest by all means. They are, however, not great fighters and don't tend to bond with anymore means than to survive.
PowersAir Dragons are perhaps the most under estimated of the dragons when it comes to their strength and abilities. While they can breath fire like all the other dragons they also have control over the wind, and give their partners this control as well.
While wind may not sound like much, it truly is a powerful force when the masters of this element use it in battle.
AppearanceAir dragons are the longest of the dragons, and also the thinest. Their bodies are like snakes and they are the only dragons without wings of any sort.
They also come in the widest range of colors and the widest mix of colors.
Their final most distinguishing trait are their fore legs, hind and front, which are the same size in length with the hind legs only slightly more muscular than the front.
Their claws are sharp and deadly, their fangs are smaller than the other dragons but they have a few set of sharp teeth, and their necks are long while their heads are thin and long.
They rarely walk around on the ground, and are much more commonly seen gliding in the air.
SoloSolo races are generally born live; their mother gives birth to them, and then generally they are raised by some parent or family member and in some rare cases just another older creatures.
At any point in their life they can come across a parasitic creature who becomes their partner. From these partners some gain new powers and abilities, however every race except the humans have some sort of special ability any way.
At any time their partner can die and they will be fine, they will survive and keep living until they are killed. Because of this some solo creatures never become truly attached to their partner, which is slightly sad.
Despite being called solo creatures they often times live in groups. These groups can be large or small and can include family and friends or just one or the other. However despite what they may say they can honestly live without anyone else.
These are the races who are able to hold ruling positions. These are the creatures who rule the world, and usually fight each other for this rule.
HumanoidsHumanoids are exactly like the elementals in the sense that they derived from demons. What separates them from the demons is the fact that over time they kept breeding with humans until they formed their own race of humanoids.
Humanoids are creatures that are part animal and part human, they aren't really demons any more and they are no longer hybrids since they can breed with someone of the same 'class' and produce the exact same thing they are, while true hybrids can't reproduce at all and if they could their offspring wouldn't appear anything like them but the mix of non-dominant genes hidden within their DNA from their parents.
Neko
Perhaps the most famous of the humanoids Neko are well known for being not only powerful but also tricky and most times rather sexy and smart.
Because of their human genetics their personalities can't be stereotyped since each one has their own individual personality.
They are very hard to tell apart from Inu at times, and it is up to the individual to tell others what exactly they are. One way is the fact that all Neko have tails, and only some Inu do.
They are fast creatures with strength that surpasses any human, but lags behind the other humanoids. They come in all sizes, shapes, and colors.
They are immortal unless otherwise stated.
Inu
Perhaps the second most famous of the humanoids thanks to popular media the Inu are very much like the Neko in appearance and skill. They are stronger than the Neko and their speed is easily matched. Like the rest of the humanoids they are varied in appearance and personality and are immortal unless otherwise stated. Some have tails and others don't, but they all have some form of dog-like ears.
Kitsune
Another type of humanoid they are characterized by their large fluffy tails and large fox ears. They come in either red, black, or white colors and very powerful Kitsune are able to use crude white fire (much weaker than fire but still effective in lighting fires and CAN be used by one who manipulates fire, in which case it becomes far more powerful) Some even have split tails (one tail split into two, three, four, five, or six thiner tails)
Their appearance is close to that of the Neko but in all reality they are the closest relatives of the Inu.
Their personalities and appearance is different for each one and they are immortal unless otherwise stated.
Nezumi
Perhaps the cutest of the humanoids due to their large eyes and large round ears they are the only humanoids that do not age past their preteens. While they are immortal and do mentally mature but they stop developing physically once they are around the appearance of an eleven or twelve year old human.
They are also perhaps the weakest of the humanoids, still stronger than humans however, and are the fastest, far faster than the Neko.
They come in all shapes and colors and personalities.
Usagi
The Usagi tend to be anti-social beings classified solely by their rabbit ears, which come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. They are fidgety creatures who are extremely smart and tend to be extremely weak, more so than even some humans, and not that fast in the long run. They mature mentally faster than most of the other humanoids and their personalities tend to be mellow, although there are still wide varieties.
The come in all shapes, sizes, and colors and are immortal unless states otherwise.
Yagi
Yagi are typically physically powerful but easily angered. They are also characterized by their two curved horns, which grow as they age but are always larger on the male they also never stop growing and never fall off so they are always in need of care (shaving ext) They come in all shapes and sizes, with the males normally darker in color and larger in sizes than females.
They are immortal unless stated otherwise.
Elves
Elves are perhaps the most fantastic of the races. They were the first to use magic and because of this their magic can heal as well as kill. They were also the first to befriend the dragons and it is because of them that they became parasitic.
Elves are the 'perfect humans'. They look exactly like every other human despite their pointed ears, thin bodies, and taller stature. They are also immortal and will only die when killed.
Elves are master archers, master magic users, and master swordsmen. They are also known for being cocky and stuck up, always considering themselves the best of the races.
There are two sub-species of elves, but most of their classifications can no longer be used to define the two are separate.
Dark elves used to be the only elves with darkened flesh and either very pale hair or very dark hair.
Light elves used to be the only elves with pale flesh and blond hair.
Today either of the elves, dark or light, can have any color flesh and any color hair.
They are also the only creatures besides Water Dragons who have the power to heal. They cannot bring creatures back from the dead, but healing simple wounds wouldn't weaken even the weakest of elves.
Elves are overall the most powerful of the races, except for one thing. They are despised by other creatures who wish for more power because they are the one creatures who truly stand in their way. They are also disliked by others due to their cockiness.
Humans
Humans are thought to be the weakest of all the races, period. This assumption was put on them long before the last war, but has only since been so strong and perhaps so true.
With the end of World War Three and the awakening of all the new and old races Humans were marked as useless and pushed from the worlds of civilization. They were blamed for all the destruction and loathed by all. It wasn't until the turn on the century were they finally given a second chance, for just years before the start of 3000 they were finally welcomed, not all with open arms, back into society and even into ruling positions.
While many are still hated those who can prove themselves worthy of anything are welcomed.
Age: Usually live to be between 85 and 100.
Gender: Either male or female
Height: Male- 5'8 is normal
Female- 5'6 is normal
Weight: Male- Heavier than female, depends on height and muscle mass. Those with more muscle weigh more than those with the equal appearance of fat (men who look the same size can weigh different due to the amount of muscle vs. fat)
Female- Tend to be leaner than the men, with smaller hands, feet, wrists, waists, and ankles. Their waists are the smallest part of their main body (chest, waist, butt) and their butt and chest size vary. Fat cumulates around their thigh, butt, and breasts.
Skin color- Anything from dark black to bright pale.
Hair color- Can be anything, natural or not.
Height length- Can be cut at any time, and can grow as long as they wish.
Body hair- General males can grow facial hair and are overly more hairy than females. Both have hair on their legs, hair that is kept shaved by most females. Both have pubic hair. (If you don't know what that is or if you laugh grow up)
Maturity: (The age they can reproduce and hit adult hood) Anywhere between 13 and 18.
Humans are very social animals who tend to live in family groups until they are old enough to reproduce, then they move onto a new family group with their 'other'. They also tend to be very sexual animals, and the first creatures to come up with the idea that females were sexual things, not living creatures. This idea was quickly smashed during the war, when woman proved themselves to be at times even stronger than the men.
Men tend to be more violent than the woman, and Woman tend to be more caring and sensitive.
It is the men who train others to fight and protect themselves, and the woman who train others to care.
While on a basic level humans have no special skills to speak of, they can devote their lives to learning a certain art.
If you are one of these few humans who do this you put the name of what it is as your race. We will all know you're still human.
ClassesMartial Artist
Martial Artists train their entire childhoods to become skilled fighters without the use of any weapons.
They are extremely fast and extremely strong and fight using only their body. They often train in extremely harsh environments and often leave their families at birth to train under a master with a group of other children.
They are taught in the arts, sciences, and maths as well as religion and thinking and basic proper skills; such as how to be polite; on top of being taught martial arts. They began schooling sometime between 9 and 12 months, when they first learn how to walk, and are taught to master balance long before they began any of their other training. Most master balance as soon as 2 years.
The students are handled roughly, and most gain respect with blood. They are not allowed to leave their teacher's home until they are 21 and pass the teacher's personal skill test, a test that would easily leave any other human dead. Those who survive are let out into the world as masters, those who fail die.
Necromancer
Necromancers are the most evil of all humans. They are very skilled in the dark arts and the only known creatures who can revive the dead. The strongest of necromancers must be killed for their risen army to be defeated. The average necromancer can only bring to life weak beings who are easily killed by the crushing of their skull, however they can all bring to life any form of creature which makes this simply task quite difficult.
However necromancers are unable to give life to their risen armies. The creatures are risen without a soul or mind of their own and are only able to do what their master tells them to do.
Necromancers also began their training at a young age, however not nearly as young as all the others. Generally necromancers are Warlocks who became too evil and learned to rise the dead from other necromancers. They usually began their training as a necromancer in the older preteen or younger teen ages.
No necromancer is ever considered a 'master' for a master necromancer would be able to give true life to their dead, and no man or woman has ever been able to accomplish that before without dying in the process, and once they die so do all those who they have risen.
Warlock
Sadly humans are unable to do any good magic, why? Because originally they were unable to use magic at all but through their desires for power they soon taught themselves, due to the fact their power only comes from a desire for power it is all dark magic.
Do not get the wrong idea about 'dark magic' it is only called such because it can kill, but not heal.
Warlocks can use many forms of magic, they can use elements, cast spells, and so on, however they do not have ability to heal with magic.
They can do just about whatever they please except heal, and once they are able to bring the dead back they are no longer warlocks are instead necromancers.
They began their training at birth, however they are only sent to training after some magical 'trait' has been found in them. This only happens when something happens to the baby or young child that should have killed them, and they don't die. After this, if the parents wish, they are sent to an experienced Warlock, and taught magic.
At 18 they are put through the test, they must fight their master. If their master gives up, he is defeated, if the student is killed he fails. If he passes the test he is given a book of spells and sent out on his own.
Summoner
Summoners have the ability to summon creatures, mostly demonic in nature and unable to think for themselves, to fight by their side in battle.
The summoners are never actual taught how to do this but are trained in the art of magic. All summoners have some sort of partner, and find out they are able to summon creatures on their own in battle.
They have no control over who they will summon, but the strength of the creature is based on the amount of energy they put in the summon. If they summon are creature who is too powerful for them to control they can be killed by it. The second the battle is over the summoner will release the creature.
Warrior
Warriors are trained exactly like martial artist, only they are taught to use weapons. They are weapon masters and a force to fear.
