I think what makes a main character likable is their personality. Recently my friend and I debated on this, where she said she only likes the mc if they're perfect or handsome/beautiful, or if they're the main focus of the story. I don't agree. A main character should have flaws, to make them more relatable, right? Also, I like it when a story is told by more then 1 P.O.V.

I don't know, I'm a sucker for heroes. Don't get me wrong I enjoy an occasional screw-up or klutz, but since I am both of those things I like reading about people diffrent then myself. I, however, do not like it when the POV is told by so many diffrent people you can't figure out who is the mc.

well, i like it when there are a few POVs but not so many that i get confused. its cool to get more then one characters perspective on a single situation, and being able to "see" it through their eyes, rather then just one person.

I'm not sure.
i guess they have to be believable, and have a well defined personality.
they can't be perfect, and they must make mistakes.

If the book is written in first pov I like the main character to explore the environment around them, have some actual understanding what others feel and whatnot. I don't like them to be too perfect, they have to be realistic ad have a personality that is interesting, not necessarily nice but not a dull one.
