Despite the advice that she shouldn't go out when it was drizzling, and moreover, to exercise, Minori still insisted on going. And even demanded that the security guards not follow her.

She was a little surprised when, while arguing with the security guards, Berin had simply appeared in the middle of the heated argument, and extended a hand to stop the black suited men, telling them to leave the young lady alone. Which in this case, was her. And the way he had looked at her when he told her to go...she knew he understood.

Understood how horrible it was for her, understood how horrible she was feeling. And knew that she needed some time alone.

So, dressed in a light creamy white t-shirt and black shorts, the brunette laced up her shoes, and started towards the nearby park, only turning back to give a small grateful smile to the butler that had always looked after her like she was his own daughter.

It didn't really make her feel much better, however. Her problems still nagged at her in her mind, teased her, playing with her emotions. No one cares for you. It teased. Just go die, or something.

Reaching the park, she angrily put on a sudden burst of speed, running as fast as she could, putting all her energy into moving her legs and propelling herself forward. Confused with the conflicting thoughts in her mind, Minori didn't see where she was going, and it wasn't long till...

She tripped.

It came as a shock to her.

All these years, she had been careful not to hurt herself, and was always graceful, thanks to ballet.

But now, she couldn't make herself twist away and avoid a fall, and simply fell down to the ground, her reflexes only letting her hands lunge forward and touch the ground, trying to push herself back up.

It hurt though.

Gasping, the girl remained on the ground, a shocked look on her face, not wanting to move any of her muscles. It had to hurt. It would hurt her, if she did, right? Her right leg moved involuntarily, however and she yelped as the sprain sent a shockwave of pain through her.

Her ankle.

Oh god, no.

The rain was so nice. It made all the sounds around him so much softer. He didn't even have to think about what was going on anymore -the botched plan to confess, another mishap with Roka... It was just a footnote now, something he didn't even really have to care about. Not now. Although he'd gone out alone, there was probably someone following from a safe distance, ready to call in the troops if anything should happen. But who cared, he was safe enough, even if it was an overcast day.

He'd brought along an umbrella, in case it did start to rain. He'd been right, after all. The only things that got wet were his shoes. It was nice to be able to forget about everything that was happening for once. Even if it would just come back the next day, he could at least take solace in the fact that he had had a relaxing time today.

Although he wasn't surprised to see that there was someone else out on such a day, he was surprised when he noticed they hadn't brought an umbrella. Surely everyone could have seen that it was going to rain. Why would anyone purposely negelected to bring something to keep them dry? He began approaching the person to try to find out. He was in sight of whoever it was, but he wasn't sure if they saw him or not.

He only realized who it was when she began to fall. It made sense that he didn't recognize her -they'd only met once or twice. And the last time, he hadn't been exactly... Calm. "Minori-san!" But it was already too late. Not paying attention to the reason she herself had fallen, the Arata heir ran the last few feet toward her.

"Minori-san, are you all right?" He asked with a certain amount of urgence, crouching down quickly.

Perhaps why Minori had refused to bring an umbrella was because she wanted to get wet. She wanted to feel the rain on her skin, the cold drops touching it and trickling, comforting her.

But for now, it seemed like it was mocking her.

Like everything was.

Trying not to grimace as she gripped her ankle gently and proceeded to pull it towards her, she suddenly stopped when a voice rang in her ears. A pretty familiar one, actually. Her dark head jerked up, mouth forming a small o. "Katsuo-san?" She managed to make out his name with her lips softly, her eyes confused. What was he doing here, of all people?

Katsuo pushed the umbrella forward so that it covered most of Minori. Even if his entire attempt to stay dry was ruined, at least she wouldn't have to get any more soaked during however much longer she'd stay in the rain. "Let's just say I was in the neighborhood." He remarked. "Is anything broken?" He asked quickly, scanning her to make sure he couldn't see anything going in a direction it wasn'ts upposed to. When he didn't spot anything, he checked again for any blood. That, he silently hoped was the one thing that hadn't happened. Just the thought made him quesy.

"Minori-san, may I ask why you were wandering around by yourself without an umbrella?"

"My ankle...hurts." She murmured softly, looking as though in a daze. It hurt. It seemed so...uncommon. She had never really been hurt all her life; as she had been sheltered after her parents knew of her condition...her fear. This had to be the most serious pain she had ever felt, physically and emotionally. What about ballet? She thought, gasping slowly. Her head was in a whirl.

"I..." The brunette murmured, looking unsure. "Was running. When it suddenly rained." It was a lie, of course, but she didn't want Katsuo to know the truth. Not anyone, for that matter.

"That's not good. Can you get up?" He asked before realizing she probably couldn't without hurting herself. "Actually, I could probably help you, if you don't mind getting a little wetter." He offered. Where they would go, he wasn't sure. Maybe he would have to escort her safely home. ...That would be an interesting experience. They could go to a hospital to see just how bad the injury was, but would she even agree to that?

"Oh. Sorry you got caught up in it." He replied, not explaining why he was out, himself. She hadn't asked, so he had no reason to tell. It wasn't very important, either.

"But if I get up, it'll hurt." The girl whispered, eyes glazed, looking positively terrified, shaking as she began to hyperventilate. Pain. No. She didn't want it, didn't like it. It was obvious Minori was not herself as she hugged her legs to her chest. "It'll hurt, Katsuo-san."

She didn't want to hurt any longer.

Minori didn't seem to hear his apology, nor want to ask him why he was out. She was in a world of her own, where she was lonely, scared, and unsure of what to do.

"Minori-san..." How was he supposed to comfort her? He didn't even know what was wrong. Neither plan A nor plan B seemed to be working. With a sigh, Katsuo dropped his umbrella to the ground and turned around. He was still leaned over, however. His arms were outstretched toward her. "Come on, I'll carry you. It won't hurt that way." He offered.

Just what was bothering her so much? This seemed serious. He didn't ask yet. They could go throug that once they'd started going wherever they were going.

Whatever it was, it had to be painful.

She drew in another slow shaky breath and blew it out, tears starting to form at the corners of her eyes. It was a while before her face turned to face him, looking hesitant for a moment. Then without a word, she nodded slowly, sniffling.

"I don't want it to hurt." She murmured softly. Minori was terrified, still breathing hard.

When she didn't move, he looked back at her. It was hard to tell behind all of the rain, but from what he could see, she was crying. Maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea to bring her straight home. He lifted her up slowly to keep anything from hurting more than necessary.

"It won't." He promised. It was hard to keep his balance with the extra weight, but he eventually regained his ability to walk. When he did, they finally started moving, leaving Katsuo's umbrella lying discarded in the rain.

"Thank you Katsuo-san." It was a while until Minori finally spoke again and she managed to meet his eyes before looking down, unhappiness mirroring in her eyes.

"Where...are we going?" She asked. It wouldn't be too good for him to carry her for too long...and she didn't really want to go home and let everyone see her like this. It would be...awful.

"Don't worry about it." He replied before going back to thinking about where they were supposed to head. Minori's family likely had a doctor on staff, but that was likely the last place she wanted to head at the moment. Seeing her eyes, he was sure that her house was not a good idea.

Katsuo bit his lip for a while, but still found no answer for her question. "I don't know." He admitted. "How bad does it hurt?" He could take her to a hospital, or just find a dry place for them to sit. The dry place was sounding the best, but the hospital might be in order, if she was truly badly injured.

"If I move it, it hurts." Minori said simply, staring down at her ankle. It shouldn't be too bad right? Right? The question echoed in her head but she couldn't answer it.

It was a while before she realized the vibrations in her pocket were due to that of her cell phone and pulled it out, staring at it mutedly. The caller ID stated clearly that it was from home, and she was afraid to pick it up.

"Which isn't good, but I expected as much." It didn't seem as though she would be much help, but if she was critically injured, she probably wouldn't be this... Quiet. He'd never actually broken any bones before, but he assumed that it would be almost impossible to not scream. So, for the moment, they could avoid going home.

Katsuo didn't her the buzz from her cell phone until she pulled it out of her pocket. "Who is it?" He asked with an idea already in mind. No doubt someone wasn't pleased that she was out in the rain on her own. Come to think of it, it was probably the same case for him. Good thing his phone was off.

"I am so dead." The girl in his arms whispered, looking almost frightened. "Madame is so going to kill me for this." And not only Madame, but her parents would be furious at her for hurting herself. She was already angry at herself for being so...clumsy, so careless.

"From...home." She replied, not moving to press any of the buttons. It could be anyone, the butler, the maids, the bodyguards, or even her parents. She wasn't sure she wanted to answer to either of them.
