*The technology rating for this RP are that of the modern day*
The nations are currently at peace. The three nations are the Shin Dynasty, the Yangsoon tribes, and the kingdom of Korbenic. In the north are the great forests and the Yangsoon tribes. To the east are the swampslands, were the Shin Dynasty live. To the west are the plains, with some scattered forests. This is were the kingdom of Korbenic is. Lastly, to the south is the Crag. It is a desert region filled with mountains and canyons. The Suud tribes live in this region. Each kingdom has it's own laws and customs. However, a strange plague has started, turning people into mysterious 'Shadows'. So far running into a shadow is rare, but that is not the only threat. While the Yangsoon believe in peace, the Shin believe that it is because of Korbenic magic that this plague is upon us. Peace may not last much longer at this rate. There are certain advantages to each Kingdom, and some drawbacks. You can play as any kingdom.
Shin Dynasty
The Shin Dynasty is the most advanced kingdom. They have everything modern, and their military uses guns. Unfortunatly magic has been outlawed in the land of the Shin Dynasty. The Shin are led by their Emperor, and his successors are his sons and daughters.
Yangsoon tribe
The Yangsoon tribe is made up of almost completely Beastfolk. Beastfolk are humanoid forms of animals. It can be any animals, but cats, canine, and lizards are the most common. Beastfolk are incredibly strong and fast, their strength and speed vary on what animal they are like. They use bladed and blunt weapons, but do have modern accomidations. They sometimes are able to do magic, and they have outlawed the use of guns in their country.
Kingdom of Korbenic
In Korbenic there are all of the majors Magic Universities. Because of this Korbenic has the most spellcasters, and it's people have the easiest time learning magic. Korbenic's living style are a mix of Modern and Magic, with some things made better using magic. The most Prestigous Univiersity is located in the eastern part of Korbenic, and is called Pentagylph.
Rules are simple:
1 No god modding.
2 No unlimited magic. If I say you are out of energy, you are out.
3 I will tell you your strengths if you are beastfolk, don't tell me.
4 No teleporting unless you have in an Arcane University.
5 NO KILLING.
6 No permenate damage to another player.
7 No infinite ammo. If I say you are out, you are out.
8 There are no make-believe animals, only animals that are alive right now, except for shadows.
9 If you do not post for two weeks without notice, your character will be killed.
Things to know about Beastfolk:
Beastfolk use a formal system much like that used in Japan. I will post proper endings here. Most humans only use this system when talking to a beastfolk.
San-Most common greeting, just for being formal
Kun-Use this for friends that are boys
Chan-Use this for friends that are girls
Sama-One step above San. Used when speaking to someone you respect.
O-Used when talking to royalty
Sensei-Used when talking to a teacher or instructor.
[None]-This ending is the most common one that is not known to people. If you are allowed to say someones name without a formality it means you are the greatest of friends, or lovers. If not used with permession it is often thought of as an insult.

This is a list of all possible characters that can be played. Please note that some characters have certain constraints, and for some you cannot start out as that person. You can also be a travaler, or a normal person living in any of the three kingdoms. If the job is crossed out, it is used as an NPC or PC.
Shin Dynasty:
Emperor (Must be a Prince or Princess first)
Prince (Must be 14-40 of age)
Princess (Must be 14-40 years of age)
Member of the War Council (7 members, all 40-80 years of age)
Assassins Council (3 members all 18-40 years of age)
Captain of the Guards (Must be 20-50 years of age)
Shopkeeper (Gunsmith, Blacksmith or Electronics)
Yangsoon Tribe:
Chieftan (Must be Son/Daughter first. Must be Beastfolk)
Chief's Son/Daughter (Must be 14-40 years of age. Must be Beastfolk)
Member of the Peace Council (5 members all 40-100 years of age. Must be Beastfolk)
Assassins Council (3 members all 18-50 years of age. Must be Beastfolk)
Captain of the Guards (Must be 20-50 years of age. Must be Beastfolk)
Shopkeeper (Blacksmith, Electronics, or Accomidations)
Kingdom of Corbenic:
King (Must be Prince First)

Special: (You must start as the requirement. I will tell you when you are eligable to be one of these. There is only one of each of these.)
Magician of Silence (Must be a student at Pentagylph age 14-16)
*All spell casters require a spell to be said, or a sign to be used in order to cast a spell. Magician of Silence is the only person to which this rule does not apply.
Silent Swordsman (Must be a beastfolk age 14-16)
*Has the ability to move without making a sound. Can create and area around him/her were there is no sound, or no sound can escape, enter.
Silent Gunman (Must be part of the Shin Dynasty age 14-16)
*Has the ability to silence and form of weapon or explosion.

Fyte sighed and got out of bed. The light of dawn was just showing through his window. He flung open the shudders and was greeted with the sounds of birds. He lived in the north tower, with all of the other advanced students. Fyte walked over to his closet and pulled it open. He pulled out his normal green robe. The color of the robe signified your level. Red dorm is the lowest level, then yellow dorm, and finally green dorm. There are some students, that are advanced and can afford and even better education, so they are put into the blue dorm. The color of your embrodery also indicates what level you are at in your dorm. Black embrodery means below level, silver means only level, and Gold means above level. Fyte's robe had a golden moon on it's back, as well as on it's shoulders and chest pocket. Fyte put on the robe and stepped out into the hallway. His first clase, alchemy wasn't for another hour, and he wanted some breakfast, so Fyte headed to the Cafeteria.

They served pancakes for breakfast today, which Fyte quickly scarfed down. Just as he was about to finish someone shouted his name, "Fyte-Sama!" Fyte knew who it was instantly. Nyania placed her tray on the table and sat down. "Finished quickly as always I see." Nyania purred. "Hello Nya-Chan. Can I help you?" Fyte asked politely. "Not right now, but don't forget our training sesion tonight, ok?" Fyte nodded. "Of course." Nya was a gifted sorceress, but couldn't control her powers so well. Like Fyte she could use the power of the moon, but she was a silver tabby beastfolk (cat) and was a beginner yellow. She was about the same age as Fyte, and since he could use the power of the moon, she always came to him for help.
Tina knocked on the door to the princess's room. "Hurry up your highness. You know the council is meeting today." Tina opened the door, walking in carrying a tray that had a fancy breakfast on it (your choice). Tina nudged Rose until she woke up. "Hurry up! The council is meeting in an hour."

When Rose first heard Tina, she curled up futher under her covers and didn't respond. She only woke up with she was nudge. She sat up quickly and groggily stretched her arms "Huh?" Was her only respond before she fully realized what Tina was saying. "The council meeting? Oh I forgot!" She woke up fully and blinked at Tina. Her eyes wandered to the tray but she decided to herself she wasn't really hungry. She pushed her slightly messing red hair out of her face and quickly climbed out of her bed. "I should get ready."

Tina sighed. Skipping breakfast was usual for Rose. She had been her lady-in-waiting for her entire life, and she didn't each breakfast much. Tina walked to the closet and walked into it. (walk-in closet) She pulled out one of the Frillier pink dresses and threw it to rose, "hurry up now, we mustn't be late. You should also wear your emerald necklace, it goes great with your eyes."

Rose grabbed the pink dress and quickly studied it for a moment before looking at Tina and nodding "Alright I'll hurry." She said. After walking to a jewerly box she had by the closet, she searched for the emerald necklace and set it aside. She quickly got dressed and combed her hair then finally put the necklace on. She walked to Tina quickly. "Okay I'm ready." Her voice was a bit rushed. She didn't want to be late, and she knew Tina didn't want to either.

"Your father and bother Elric are waiting for you outside the council chamber. We should meet them there." Tina led the way to the council chamber. The palace was large, so it took them a few minutes to reach the doors. Tawarano and Elric stood outside waiting. "Just like little sis to keep us waiting." Said Elric, dressed in his royal knight attire. Tawarano looked to Tina and said, "Thank you for bringing her so quickly. This matter is important." Tawarano was dressed in his normal king attaire. A golden breastplate, forearm guarnds, shin guards and his sword, the golden hilt showing between his cape.

As Rose followed Tina to the council chamber, a bit of nervous tension crept up her arms but she wasn't sure of the source. She relaxed once she saw her father and brother. "Sorry I'm late." She said in a quick but small voice. Her hurried behavior relaxed and she had a polite look on her face now.

Tawarano motioned to the guards and they opened the doors. Tanawarno, Elric, and Tina stepped into the chamber. Sitting inside were the seven members of the war council, all dressed in black robes. Their faces were shadowed by the cowls of their robes. The center judge carried a wooden staff, which he banged on the floor, causing the guards to close the doors. Several torches were burning in the corners. "This meeting of the War Council will now begin." Said the center man, his voice shaking with age. Tanarano stepped forward. "You all know about the threat of the shadow plague brought on by magic. Today, I propose that we attack it at it's source. Today, we break our alliance and attack the Kingdom of Korbenic."

Rose followed beside Tina and her brother. She stayed absolutely still and silent when the meeting began, listening closely. She tensed up a bit. Attacking Korbenic? That would be chaos. Random thoughts passed her mind as she listened closely.

Tawarano looked up at the council and said, "Where should we assert our presence first? I do believe that the war council should decide." The center judge tapped his staff three times and a rattling sound filled the air. Slowly being lowered and table settled into place in front of the council. On it was a map of the region, as well as markers to where cities were. "You should start the attack were it will hurt them the most. If the war drags out they will start to enlist even there own younge ones." The judge tapped a point at the center of the map with his staff. There was a marking there, but it wasn't a town. A small label said; Pentaglyph. "The first attack shall be at Pentaglyph. You shall send five hundred troops in to destroy the school, and kill everyone inside. Do not hesitate, do not flinch, do not faulter." Tawarano listened, then nodded. "I may think it a cheap shot to attack childern, but if that is you advice, I shall do it."

Rose frowned. Attacking a school. That wasn't right. Her hands clenched just a bit but she didn't say anything. The expression on her face clearly said she wanted to speak but her mind told her she shouldn't. She clamped her mouth shut and her eyes wandered. Why were they doing this? She knew magic was not allowed here but the Korbenic was another region. We were all at peace, why now would the alliance break?

The center judge saw Rose's expression and looked at her. "Well Princess, do you wish to speak? Do you not think our plan is a good one? I know you have seen the grusome results of the plague. Your mother had become a very powerful shadow-beast because of the plague, did she not? Don't you want to see and end to this plague?"
