Pandora looked around curiously. She was instructed to meet someone here, but... she didn't see anyone around. The wind rustled the leaves and birds called to one another, but otherwise all was silent. As her excitement and anxiety began to build, Pandora found it impossible to sit still. She pranced around the area, trying to entertain her mind and make the waiting pass faster. "Okay,Ishouldtryandnotbeso...excited," Pandora giggled. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on her breating, and took a large breath. "In.... and out...." It was then she caught the scent of another namir. Her eyes snapped open, and she smiled to herself. 'Bring 'em on,' She thought to herself. A grin erupted across her face.

Eyulf made his way through the forest, hoping that he wasn't late. He was told to come here, and judging from what he had gathered previous to this instruction he figured that this was the thing Sara had been planning. He couldn't help but be a little anxious. What if she isn't nice? He thought silently to himself. Finally, he caught sight of her. Hoping for the best, he emerged from the trees and said his typical bright greeting, complete with a bright smile, "Hello! I'm Eyulf. What's your name?"

Pandora met Eyulf with a smile. 'So this is what North was planning,' She thought to herself with a grin. At Eyulf's greeting, Pandora couldn't help being reminded of her own introductions when she was a kit. Giggling a bit at the memory, Pandora opened her mouth and,... "Hello,Eyulf! I'mPandora,orPandaifyou'drather.Eitheroneisfin--" She broke herself off quickly, realizing how her excitement had brought back her rapid speech. She laughed, not the least bit embarassed, and said, "Let me try that again. Hi, Eyulf! I'm Pandora." Pandora shot him a winning smile. It was then she took a moment to look him over, and noticed his cropped ears with a shock. "Woah!" She said before she could stop herself, "Your ears are so cute!" This comment she chocked back in surprise. When Pandora laughed again, it came to her attention she was more nervous than she had believed. Pandora watched his face carefully for his reaction. 'I sure don't hope I scare him off within the first minute.'

The rapid speech caught Eyulf slightly off guard at first, though it wasn't too hard to understand it. He was about to open his mouth to say that it was nice to meet her when she suddenly complimented his ears. "Thank you!" He decided that a compliment in turn would help ease the tension a bit. "I think your patterns are really pretty. So, your nickname is Panda?" He thought for a moment. "I think I've heard that before, but I forget from where..." He pondered for a moment longer, tail automatically swaying back and forth as he did so, before he shrugged. "Well, it's nice to meet you Panda."

Pandora smiled at the compliment, glad Eyulf had taken the surprise comment well, "Thank you!" She nodded, "I don't really remember where the nickname came from though." Pausing a moment, Pandora quickly racked her brain, "Knowing me, I probably made it up myself." She giggled. When he suggested he might have recognized her name, she let the laugh die and tried to remember if she'd ever met him. Normally she was wonderful with meeting people and remembering names, and Pandora would feel awful if she forgot him. "Well," She mirrored his shrug, "My niece Maiya calls me it sometimes, and so does my friend Brightshadow... Otherwise, it's not a very poppular nickname I suppose." She giggled again. "So I suppose it doesn't really constitue as a nickname if only two namrah use it on occasion..." Pandora grinned, "Make that three namrah. It's nice to meet you too, Eyulf."

Eyulf smiled, now knowing exactly where he had heard it. "I know now! I heard it from Maiya." He nodded, now sure of it. His tail was wagging happily at the solving of the mystery. "It's a nice nickname. I'm surprise more namrah don't use it. So you're Maiya's aunt? That's neat!" He wondered vaguely what Maiya would think about him being on a blind date with her auntie Panda.

"You know Maiya?" Pandora's grin grew wider. If Maiya talked to Eyulf then he was clearly a good guy. She trusted Maiya's choice of friends wholeheartedly. When she noticed his tail start wagging, Pandora started giggling. The small action was adorable to her, but she was able to hold her tongue on this one. As the giggles subsided, Pandora said, "Well, I suppose it's because I don't exactly look like Panda," more giggles, "so it's confusing. Of course, that makes me like it even more." She smiled. "Yup. Her dad is my older brother. I didn't now you knew her." Her tail swished once from side to side, unconscioulsy following Eyulf's.

Eyulf nodded. "Yep, I know Maiya and her mom Akiko. Me and her used to play together a lot growing up. I was her self-appointed kit-sitter!" He added with a laugh. His idea of kit-sitting was just keeping Maiya occupied while her mom watched over the two of them to make sure they didn't get in trouble. His tail, quite independent of him, wagged a bit faster at the rememberance of his childhood. Not that adulthood was that much different for him. "It was pretty easy since we're both friends of Sara."

Pandora giggled, "I didn't know that!" She thought about what he said and giggled harder. If they had grown up together then Euylf couldn't have been a baby sitter. Then she realized that she had grown up with Maiya too. "I wonder why I never met you before then. I used to play with Maiya as a kit too," She mused outloud. As she heard the thumping of Euylf's happy tail increase in speed, she couldn't stop giggling. Though she did everything she could to try to talk through the laughter, "Well, hehe, it was a little, hehehe, harder when, hehe, I wasn't around too often." Pandora shut her eyes to trap the tears forming from her giggling. Her face was heating up in embarassment, but Euylf was just too adorable.

"I'm not sure why we've never met. Maybe I wasn't around whenever you were? I could have been playing with some of my other friends at the time." His thoughts turned to Jieke, who was almost like a father to him, and Nessa, who eventually just drifted out of his life. He sometimes wonders where she had gone, yet steadily she was leaving his thoughts completely. Pandora speaking again through giggles brought him out of his memories abruptly. He tilted his head, his typical confused and/or curious gesture, and asked, "Giggle fit coming on?" He was familiar with the symptoms of a giggle fit since every so often Maiya would do the same.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Pandora struggled to get out through her giggles. "I'm really trying to behave myself, but..." She bit down lightly on her tongue to try and quell the giggles. "I know I shouldn't be laughing," she managed, her giggles coming in short random bursts now. "But... you keep wagging your tail." She thumped hers back and forth for emphasis, which brought on another wave of giggles. Consiously, Pandora realized this had gone on long enough and tried to think of something sad, hoping to stop laughing. Nothing immediately came to mind. Come to think of it, there wasn't one moment she could recall in which she felt upset... 'There was that time I met that guy... but I don't remember his name or why I would feel sad'. Her momentary retreat into her mind, however, did the trick, and the giggles died down, leaving Pandora breathing heavily. She wiped away the tears that had escaped her eyes, and sniffed once.

Eyulf just smiled on the topic of his tail. He would say that he had no control over it whatsoever, but since Panda's giggle fit was finally taken care of he didn't want to risk ruining her effort. While contemplating what to speak of now, Eyulf heard a very faint sound. His ear twitched toward that direction, and he turned to face that way. "Hey, did you hear that?"
(BTW...it's not a dog whistle he's hearing. Just thought to clarify. xd )
