well, I thought it'd be a good idea to start listing basic skills for bass guitar playing, in most guilds they talk about advanced stuff so I thought we could start goin back to the roots of it all

Basically everything is listed on: www.studybass.com If you want to make a collection of "skills", go ahead. Most of it is on there. But please don't write about skills you know that you do not fully master. I've seen loads of "tutorials" on slapping, but the kid didn't really know what it was all about, having it done for a whole 5 times.
