Tell me where our time went,
And if it was time well spent...
So. Apparently, they've started fireproofing cigarettes. Mom says it's so that, if you fall asleep with one lit, it'll go out soon and not burn your house down.
So, basically, the cigarette burns for abit, then puts itself out, then you light it again.
Which, y'know, is good and all. I'm cool with the house not burning down.
But here's the part that bugs me: Mom and Scott (her long-term boytoy) are saying things like, "Oh my goodness, what kind of chemicals are they putting in these? It can't be healthy. You know that a lot of people will stop smoking now because of whatever chemicals are in them now."
...
I hate how stupid they are. stressed
If any of you didn't catch the obvious irony (though I'm positive you did, as you're all very intelligent girls), cigarettes have things like tar and rat poison in them.
And like, 4657528 other bad things. (Exaggeration. Maybe.)
Cigarettes have been linked to various types of cancer and heart disease.
And they're scared of a fireproofing chemical?
God damn I hate the world sometimes. stressed
And I'm not dissing any of you, if we have any smokers. In fact, if we do have any smokers, I'd like to hear your opinion on this. Would one extra chemical seriously make you quit smoking?
And any non-smokers are welcome to talk too, of course. Opinions of whoever's willing to give them would be great.

Total. Oxymoron.
And there are alot of bad s**t in cigarettes @_@; I try to tell my mom this but she just ignores me =o= I don't think this will change her mind on quitting, either.
In fact, it might make it more addictive...

I would like to see how many pople get annoyed at having to re-light. xd
If I were designing it, I would make it so that it goes out a few seconds after you take the lighter away. Just so you have time to put the lighter back in your pocket, before getting it out again.
Now I will destroy him.

Lol, I laughed so hard when I saw that.
I was like "Fireproof Cigaret... WTF?!" xDD
Anyway, I hate smoking. I mean I'm 13, so I've never personally smoked, but I hate the smoke it gives off.
Pretty much any kind of smoke in drugs sets me off in a coughing storm.
But I don't mind bonfire smoke. In fact I like that kind of fire!
Weird, no? xD

  Fireproofing all brands? I think most people would just avoid the brands That actually fireproof it 'cause its retarded to keep lighting I hate it when I see people smoking I feel like I'm gonna drop dead from the fumes And I get really parenoid o.o;

Wow, that kind of takes the point out of smoking.
You WANT to have it stay lit, after all. So you can take a drag whenever, and so you can do cool smoke tricks one after another without breaks. And s**t like that.
I only smoke when I'm dead drunk or blazed off my a** (because oh my god, the nicotine high when you're already high? So shivery good), so I may not be the target for this article. It still strikes me as wrong, somehow.
I actually talked to one of my full-time smoker friends over texts about this, and he basically laughed his a** off. That's not such a great sign.
